Great idea! I have tons of postcards friends and family sent from all over -- good way to showcase them -- swap them out whenever. Going to do the same with my nephew's baseball cards. I buy tons of frames from Michael's when they go on sale.

What if we replaced or augmented the old cardboard with cork board before we covered it and then we could just pin whatever we want in the frame anywhere? Photographs, bits of plants, magazine clippings…. I think I might try this idea too.
@@polymathica oh that's a good idea! Could even use some lightly patterned fabric so holes don't show and it's like art on its own!

Miss, the painting are those cheap ones they put in the frames when they sell them the Frames! It would look A LOT cheaper on the wall to have a COPY of Mona Lisa.
She must have too much time on her hands. Most people toss that crap in a chipper, not hang it on the wall in the house. @@Helloimdarlenee

A friend of mine who owns three restaurants and small shopping center along with an office building buys cheap pictures for their frames because buying the frames alone are worth more than the pictures

Idk what everyone's on about, it was clearly just a very cheap poster print of a Monet, and anything produced that way isn't worth anything (and looks tacky imho)... I adore what you made! I have more things I love looking at than I have space to display them. I'm 100% going to make this, thanks for the great idea!!
You can print out some floral line art and stick it in the frame, change it out whenever you want it, would be just as effective and way less messy.
