Thanks for your perspective. We included the Chinese national flag, and the Snow Lion Flag as those are the flags both most relevant to the region. One is the current national flag, and one is the historical flag from the second most recent historical period in Tibet. Many around the world will be watching this video, thus including iconic graphics in the thumbnail will help people to find and identify this video related to the region.
We cannot change history, this region has been through many historical events in the last 100 years. It all makes up a rich tapestry of the regional history.

It is not desertification. Plants and trees and crops just don’t grow in that kind of harsh climate and terrain. It is super expensive to plant trees there like what the Chinese gov is doing now, telling you how much money the central gov has been pouring in money in order to make Tibet a better and more livable place. Building roads and railroad s and planting trees are many times more expensive in Tibet than elsewhere

41:38 Exacly. You all are lucky. What makes it so blessing, scared, holy, popular: One reason of among many is that: this 12 year old Buddha statue(including other two) are Buddha Shakyamuni himself watch, concrete & bless them. As Shakyamuni's followers requested 3 statues made for him while he was still living; they were eight, twelve, and twenty- five (or thirty) years old, respectively. The statues, which were created under his nanny's supervision, closely resemble the Buddha. The 12-year-old's gilded bronze statue is the most elegant and noble of the three. A person who sees the Buddha Shakya statue is said to have all the benefit sight, hearing, thought, and touch. They will also be able to break free from the three sources of sorrow and eventually be freed from samsara.
Its historical & cultural relic significance is not the only reason why Tibetans consider it valuable; the most significant factor is that there is no distinction between seeing the Buddha today and seeing him 2,500 years ago.

Seriously, just ask a question what is more and better can be done in terms of balancing the development and preservation. Tibet now has great infrastructure, great convinience, improved standard of lives, yet at the same time, the environment is protected, the culcutre is preserved, the religion is respected. The situation in Tibet raises significant concerns regarding human rights and cultural preservation. Since its incorporation into the People's Republic of China in 1950, Tibet has experienced extensive changes, including the suppression of cultural practices and language, the destruction of monasteries, and allegations of forced assimilation, particularly concerning Tibetan children.
Reports indicate that Tibetan communities have faced limitations on their rights, with numerous activists disappearing under mysterious circumstances, and freedom of expression severely restricted. The Chinese government's actions regarding natural resources in Tibet are also alarming, as extensive mining operations could have long-term ecological impacts, not only for Tibetans but for neighboring countries like India.
Despite the call for international attention and journalistic investigation, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has historically restricted access to external media and monitoring organizations, raising questions about transparency and accountability in the region. The plight of Tibetans remains a crucial issue that requires continued global awareness and advocacy.

For the other parts of China, the Communist party had to fight difficult wars against other local war lords and the national party armies. Are you telling me this is human rights or some kind of tradition? I don’t care, and I don’t agree. To the descendants of the feudal lords who left Tibet, I hope you live well from now on and forget about Tibet. It no longer has anything to do with you. At that time, the Dalai Lama practiced a cruel serfdom and wanted to keep it, but the central government did not allow it. There was a conflict, and the Dalai Lama left for India. Now Tibet is getting better and better, and the central government has invested hundreds of millions in the development of the area. The demonizing reports in the West are shameful.

Hi dear, I saw your video today by chance and you been so lucky to have been in Tibet but I am being a Tibetan couldn’t visit my country Tibet because of Chinese presence in my country Tibet where you have to have a travel guide who restrain and restrict your freedom of movement. You know Tibet was, is and will never be a part of china. We had been an independent nation since ancient time and Tibet is an occupied country now. China is an expansionist and wants to assimilate many small Himalayan countries in their territory, just have a look at Bhutan. 2% of Bhutanese land has been annexed to Chinese territory, in fact there was no border between Bhutan and China or India and china. If there was a border, there was a border between India and Tibet and Tibet and Bhutan. Look what is happening in Philippines and South China Sea. But I believe that every mighty power has its end somewhere in the future. Long live the truth, you can’t erase the truth.

Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Rest assured, we are aware of Chinese behavior in the south China Sea in the territorial water of other countries.

Tibet has been part of China since Yuan dynasty (in mid 13th century). As for the South China Sea, when Chinese mapped it and fished in that sea thousands years ago, the current Southeast Asian countries (including the Philippines) were not even independent countries.
