In 2023, Tibet's per capita GDP reached approximately $9,726 USD and Tibet's GDP reached approximately 33.6 billion USD. The central government of China provides annual transfer payments to Tibet that exceed Tibet's GDP. Additionally, various inland provinces and cities undertake aid projects in Tibet, which represent massive investments every year. For example, Guangdong Province, whose GDP surpasses that of Russia, aids the city of Nyingchi in Tibet, providing free assistance to build schools, hospitals, roads, and other infrastructure. The western regions of the United States consist largely of deserts, but they have a good highway system. However, Tibet, with even harsher natural conditions, already has infrastructure surpassing that of the U.S. West. As a result, Tibet's per capita standard of living is 10 times higher than that of India.
By comparing Tibet with Outer Mongolia, one can clearly see the consequences of splitting from China and establishing independence. In Outer Mongolia, half the population lives in the capital, Ulaanbaatar, and most of Ulaanbaatar's residents live in slums on the outskirts of the city. Furthermore, 30% of Outer Mongolia's grasslands have turned into desert due to overgrazing.

You don’t need to tell them so much, they won’t believe it, and they don’t want to believe the objective data. They only believe in the so-called claims that we Tibetans are being persecuted, have no freedom, and live in dire straits. They will not believe that a 30-year-old Tibetan youth is sitting on the sofa looking at the situation of the exiled Tibetans and feels happy that he was born under the red flag and grew up in the spring breeze.

Actually here’s minor mistake is that we Tibetan people usually don’t called it as “Xiahe”, which is its translated Chinese name, authentic Tibetan normally would call instead“Labrang”,‘cause this place is well-known for its huge monastery--“Labrang Monastery”- one of the biggest “Geluk denomination”of Tibetan buddhism across the whole Tibet.

My favorite countries in North America to visit are: California Republic, Texas Republic, Alaska Republic and USA. These four independent countries have a lot of to offer, and most interestingly for me is the Indigenous native Americans culture and their traditions which barely exist unless in remote tribal villages. California Republic especially, a mix of foreign influence from USA and Texas Republic. It's definitely one of my favorite countries in the whole world. The Californians are friendly.

I love Tibet and pray for an independent Tibet ...this is such a beautiful spiritual n mystical country n rhe people are so warm n lovely...I hate to see it being destroyed by the autocratic Chinese just because they have power....they should know they would not have power if it were not given from above n just as it's given, it can & will be taken away.

Who is in the Potala Palace now? The Dalai Lama fled for his life in 1959 and I don’t think they will allow him to return. Just ten years ago some mountain climbers were filming after returning to base camp with their outfit and found a Tibetan young man hiding in their tent from the Chinese and they actually filmed a group of about 15 people try to cross over the mountain and the Chinese soldiers were “shooting them like dogs” as the British guy is overheard saying on camera. Are they allowed to still speak Tibetan? I am Buddhist and about 20 years ago one of the best known monks here in SC was asked by the USC College of International Affairs asked him to speak. The university had to provide security for him because the Chinese students and staff were shouting at him and getting very aggressive and threatening. It was really shocking to hear them say “Tibet has always been a part of China” which the Tibetan would say “so I am Chinese, then” and the Chinese Professor said “NO! You are not one of us!”

I luckily stumbled upon your Vlog which is made on my Fatherland, Tibet. I know some of you might think why "Fatherland and not Motherland." We Tibetans calls "Phayul" means Fatherland. Thank you for showing our Tibetan brothers and sisters in Tibet. I hope and pray that we, Tibetans in exile and His Holiness The Dalai Lama will also get a chance to go back to our holy land.

If you don't understand history, don't mislead the young people here. Tibet has been incorporated into China since the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, almost a thousand years ago. Their local leaders were all appointed by the Chinese emperor. You can check Western maps yourself. All maps of China during the Qing Dynasty include Tibet. Why do you say that they are not living well now? Now the Tibetan region is more patriotic than the mainland. Before the establishment of communist China, it was a slave society. The lower-class people were just slaves and private property of individual slave owners! Mao Zedong completely liberated the slaves. So now Tibet regards Mao as a god (the incarnation of Manjushri Bodhisattva).
