I've been using Wipe New for 14 years and it is BY FAR the best trim restorer and preserver that I've seen. My 2007 Avalanche exterior has very little fade or UV damage. And the interior trim looks new. Both have a nice semi-gloss finish. This product lasts about 18-24 months on exterior trim, and about 4-5 years on interior trim. Surface Prep and product application is key. The application is this video is not quite the "optimum" way to apply it.
I clean the surface first thoroughly with diluted Simple Green and medium bristle brush twice to remove any previously treatments or waxes. Rinse thoroughly and let dry completely for a day or so. Then apply in shade or under cover or garage, following instructions on package. Keep it dry for 24 hours and then enjoy. One kit will do the entire outside (or inside) of my Avalanche including Tonneau cover and running boards when properly prepared and applied.

I’ll do that to my Avalanche!! Thanks

Far superior to all the other back to black restore products. It lasts so long that the last time I used it on my 05 Honda CRV it came in a bottle with with several micro fiber applicator cloths. I'm finally due for another treatment so I'll be trying these pre-soaked pads for the first time. Great video. Thanks!

Thank you for doing this longer term review and sharing your application suggestions. This kind of video takes a lot more work and patience to put together. I hope you can follow up later on.

Another youtuber, Scott HD has done a long term review of trim restorations. Wipe new was included in his tests. I tried it on gray trim and initially it look fairly well. But because it was gray trim, hard to tell how long it lasts? As Daniel stated below, Cerakote lasted very long, which also you wipe on with wipes, in Scott's tests. He tried a product from Malco, maybe it was called Revive? I will be trying that next.

I’m going to get some Cerakote and try that next. I know the brand has a reputation for making high quality product to it should perform well. Thank you for tuning in and commenting 🙏

Interesting, would be neat to see how it compares to Cera Trim or Lithium trim wipes.

It’s been something like a year and half now since I applied this and the windshield vowel still looks decent (although definitely could use another application soon)

You're supposed to give it an hour or two drying time in between coats.

Please tell me how to remove this from
The interior of the car- i applied incorrectly and now have a lot of streaking on my dashboard and im
    Getting rid of my

    • @mr2275cur

Wipe down the streaky areas a couple times with 90% isopropyl alcohol. Let dry and reapply the Wipe New properly on a cool surface. That should get rid of the streakiness.

@@MellieG143 It wasn't dumb. I've used it on my Chevy Avalanche and don't have any issues. The streakiness is probably coming from not cleaning the interior surfaces good enough before application. My interior is still a deep glossy black with very little streakiness.. My truck is 18 years old and still looks great. A properly applied interior application will last at least 5 years or longer.
