@abhisekmondal831 Yes, i gradually increased an hour after a month once I adjusted to 12:12. Your body will take time to get used to it. Initially, it will be difficult, but after some time, your body will be used to it. I am currently doing 20:4, and I gradually increased hours to reach 20:4 as well. If you get hunger pangs or cravings, drink a lot of water that time or black tea or coffee once. You can also use apple cider vinegar, as it suppresses the appetite
I am a muslim and used to fasting from 4am to 7pm so i think i can start intermediate dieting like i would have my dinner at 9pm and would not eat anything till 3pm next day with sometimes a cardio workout of 3 to 5km daily
@@divyajoshi2892 portion control is very important. I start my day with black coffee and after two hours I drink apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon and after two hrs I take my first meal. I eat normally what ever is cooked at home. so there is no specific diet, but I dont consume sugar at all and avoid bread and rice.
Eating unhealthy isn't a compulsion its what people do that too not everyone.plus with regards to eating in general its from the sunnah(prophetic tradition)to eat 1/3,drink water1/3 and keep 1/3of your stomach empty. Ramadhan isnt the only time when muslim's fast . Also it is a prophetic tradition to fast every monday thursday through out the year.

@@nupurhazela.mhhazela6922 m simply try to restricting carbs and including more veggies, dairy products like cottage cheese, dahi, soyabeans, few fruits which are keto friendly in my diet. Plus m doing intermittent fasting as well. I know its very difficult but m suffering from temporary infertility due to excess weight. So i need to loose 10 kgs weight in 2 months. So my doctor suggested it. And guess what its 10 days I have already lost 4 kgs. Its working wonders.

I am breastfeeding mom and I am still doing IF and feel pretty good. Post delivery weight was 99kgs and later in a few months was 109kgs and post 6months I started my workout with portion control and avoided certain food in my diet. Guess what? I am weighing 76kgs now. Target 50kgs 😝 oh the added benefit I missed to tell you guys. I had GD that was close to 300 and now it's 88 to 102. My h1ab1c level is 6.2 which is still a pre-diabetes. I've been following this for a month or so I guess. It did show me visible results! At first , I had a hard time avoiding foods and ofc I was lazy to exercise. Then I still stubbornly held on. It was until I got gastric 🤐( I promise i didn't completely avoid meals , I ate this and that in between, ofc healthy.) Then after I got well, I started the diet again. And this time , my body got used to it and I didn't feel that much hungry. If i eat when I shouldn't, my body doesn't feels right. It just got used to the diet. I'm a student , so I can't go hard on myself even if i want. Even though i follow intermittent fasting , I feel a little weak. So I didn't even consider exercising-( well, every morning i do climb stairs of 6 storey building with my heavy bag😂 honestly, it's annoying😂) Results- I feel like , my body came to a hourglass shape ( not fully tho), my face lost fat and my collarbone came out. I'm very happy. I'll keep following this method. ❤

I started my IF on Sunday evening at 8 pm. Today is Wednesday. I checked my weight and found I have lost 1kg. I had also started evening walks (2 kms) along with the IF. I'm glad I'm seeing positive results 😊

I stopped taking evening walks since few days, due to hectic office work as it's March. I'm presently 43. My height is 167cm. So basically I am not obese. But trying to bring my weight down to 65 or 66 and maintain it like that. I'm on 16:8 window. If you are intending to do IF, just keep in mind that you should never over eat or have large portions during eating window.. frequent smaller quantities are easily digestible and effective for weight loss. In my 2nd week I saw my weight was not reducing as expected due to stuffing large portions of food during eating window. Then I started having smaller portions and saw the difference. Secondly Cut off junks. Avoid sugar wherever possible.. but I have a cup of tea with a teaspoon of sugar once in the evening, which I guess is not that bad for my weight loss. I eat 2 eggs, an apple daily, chapati or rice, whatever available and include a lot of vegetables in my diet. Losing weight slowly is a healthy way to lose weight. Always choose food based on it's nutritional value.
I lost around 4kg so far. I'm 43 and my height is 167cms. Actually I'm not obese. I was 72 kg when I started IF. Now I'm toggling between 68 & 68.8 kg. I stopped going for evening walks since a few days due to hectic working hours at office this month as it's financial year end. I am following 16:8 diet window. I eat lesser portion but frequently in my eating window. No junks, fried, sweet or carbonated drinks(except one cup of normal tea with a teaspoon of sugar in the evening occasionally). I make sure I include two eggs and an apple in my daily intake. Apart from this, I have loads of whatever sabzi is cooked normally at home with either one small bowl of rice or 2 small chapati for my lunch. When I feel hungry, I just keep drinking water. That's it. No gastric issues so far. All good. I feel I'm losing weight in a healthy way. I have reduced my waist size around an Inch. Hope this info helps you or anyone who reads this. Take care 😊

@dollydubey1325 No, it is not upvaas as during upvaas we keep eating fruits whole day and on top of that we drink juices, shakes etc. Upvaas is nowhere near intermittent fasting.

16:8 is lil hard to keep yourself in fasting mode i would rather go with 14:10 window hour it surely helps also it doesn't have any side effects which u can majorily see when you are doing 16:8 u can extend the period of fasting hr if u can but do it for longer run if you wanna see good results so I'm following only 14:10 it's perfect for beginners

I did IF without knowing I was doing IF in 2018 September 1 I was 72 and then I lost almost 28kg in 8 to 9 months! Without any exercise... then after 3 months I saw results and started starving myself instead of fasting then I got anorexia.. then got more slim that almost my BP dropped and I was malnutrionend and was in hospital refusing to eat too and pills for recovering anorexia made me depressed lil bit so I stopped and took me 1 year to recover on my own so I'm 75 now gained weight and now I'm going do IF now without starving

Our stomach has hcl keeping it empty for such a long time will lead to ulcers which means the hcl(hydrochloric acid) itself will start eating your stomach if it has no food in it leading to ulcers. I've been following this for a month or so I guess. It did show me visible results!
At first , I had a hard time avoiding foods and ofc I was lazy to exercise. Then I still stubbornly held on. It was until I got gastric 🤐( I promise i didn't completely avoid meals , I ate this and that in between, ofc healthy.)
Then after I got well, I started the diet again. And this time , my body got used to it and I didn't feel that much hungry. If i eat when I shouldn't, my body doesn't feels right. It just got used to the diet.
I'm a student , so I can't go hard on myself even if i want. Even though i follow intermittent fasting , I feel a little weak. So I didn't even consider exercising-( well, every morning i do climb stairs of 6 storey building with my heavy bag😂 honestly, it's annoying😂)
Results- I feel like , my body came to a hourglass shape ( not fully tho), my face lost fat and my collarbone came out. I'm very happy. I'll keep following this method. ❤

I started my IF on Sunday evening at 8 pm. Today is Wednesday. I checked my weight and found I have lost 1kg. I had also started evening walks (2 kms) along with the IF. I'm glad I'm seeing positive results 😊

@@Simroopsmom I lost around 4 kg so far.. started IF when I was 72kg. Now my weight toggles between 68 & 68.8 depending on my diet.. I stopped taking evening walks since few days, due to hectic office work as it's March. I'm presently 43. My height is 167cm. So basically I am not obese. But trying to bring my weight down to 65 or 66 and maintain it like that. I'm on 16:8 window. If you are intending to do IF, just keep in mind that you should never over eat or have large portions during eating window.. frequent smaller quantities are easily digestible and effective for weight loss. In my 2nd week I saw my weight was not reducing as expected due to stuffing large portions of food during eating window. Then I started having smaller portions and saw the difference. Secondly Cut off junks. Avoid sugar wherever possible.. but I have a cup of tea with a teaspoon of sugar once in the evening, which I guess is not that bad for my weight loss. I eat 2 eggs, an apple daily, chapati or rice, whatever available and include a lot of vegetables in my diet. Losing weight slowly is a healthy way to lose weight. Always choose food based on it's nutritional value.

I stopped going for evening walks since a few days due to hectic working hours at office this month as it's financial year end. I am following 16:8 diet window. I eat lesser portion but frequently in my eating window. No junks, fried, sweet or carbonated drinks(except one cup of normal tea with a teaspoon of sugar in the evening occasionally). I make sure I include two eggs and an apple in my daily intake. Apart from this, I have loads of whatever sabzi is cooked normally at home with either one small bowl of rice or 2 small chapati for my lunch. When I feel hungry, I just keep drinking water. That's it. No gastric issues so far. All good. I feel I'm losing weight in a healthy way. I have reduced my waist size around an Inch. Hope this info helps you or anyone who reads this. Take care 😊

@dollydubey1325 No, it is not upvaas as during upvaas we keep eating fruits whole day and on top of that we drink juices, shakes etc. Upvaas is nowhere near intermittent fasting.

16:8 is lil hard to keep yourself in fasting mode i would rather go with 14:10 window hour it surely helps also it doesn't have any side effects which u can majorily see when you are doing 16:8 u can extend the period of fasting hr if u can but do it for longer run if you wanna see good results so I'm following only 14:10 it's perfect for beginners

I disagree. Doing IF few times does not have a disadvantage but doing it on a daily basis comes with a lot disadvantages like hair loss, PCOD etc etc.

My relative said my mom to do intettenmitted fasting to lose atleast 20kg in two months by doing 23hrs fasting i was shock,i really never eat junk food only on occasion only healthy food for me this weight gain was not because of food something in health changes no one ready to agree my parents stop my food eating only i eat food at 10:00 pm at night then next day 10:00pm at night I will get food I can't tolerate this fasting at all. For me I am just 17 at this age how everyone feel hungry and they eat in front of me and say tuja yeh bhook marna hoga tohi tu weight lose kar payigyi it really hurts when your parents don't understand u by listening others. I did IF without knowing I was doing IF in 2018 September 1 I was 72 and then I lost almost 28kg in 8 to 9 months! Without any exercise... then after 3 months I saw results and started starving myself instead of fasting then I got anorexia.. then got more slim that almost my BP dropped and I was malnutrionend and was in hospital refusing to eat too and pills for recovering anorexia made me depressed lil bit so I stopped and took me 1 year to recover on my own so I'm 75 now gained weight and now I'm going do IF now without starving

Our stomach has hcl keeping it empty for such a long time will lead to ulcers which means the hcl(hydrochloric acid) itself will start eating your stomach if it has no food in it leading to ulcers. So consult a doctor before you start intermittent fasting. If there is any doctor reading this comment please correct me if I am wrong👍

I have evening shift 5 pm to 4 am. Mostly eat before 9 and I eat at 2 or 3 the next day. But never reduced weight.
