Hey I have been doing intermittent fasting for months along with home workout and 30 mins walk but i haven't even lost 1 kg coz i couldn't cut off junk. I really try to eat healthy but just cannot control my cravings, i eat something unhealthy every alternate day. How do i control my cravings and how often can i eat a little bit junk?
We are blessed with sacred Ekadashi where we do absolute fasting for 24-32 hours once in 15 days which is better than any intermittent fasting methods .Thanks to Jagadguru Madhwacharya for insisting this for our well being . everyone fast on Ekadashi and stay healthy
I started my intermittent fasting of 16:8 from 9th August then I was 72 kg today is 21th August..... I do workouts daily 30 minutes during my fasting window....... & I'm already feeling some difference in my body.....I will check my weight in 9th September..... 9th September 2023 So results are here: I checked my weight after a month & now it's 66kg I lost (72-66)kg = 6 kg in a month by intermittent fasting & a 30min workout routine in each day... I ate rice two times everything made in my house like daal, chicken curry, fish curry but not so much & I did not drink any sugary drink I didn't take sweets & sweet things... actually my fasting window is 16/8 & I felt that it's pretty good if we do it properly.... 🤗🔥🚩

Hello Mam, I am following 16:8 IF from last 2 months but i am feeling low energy these days . I start my day at 6:30 AM by taking two glasses of luke warm water and then one cup of herbal tea to recharge my body. I usually do my jogging and home workout around 7:30-9:00 but i dont take any post workout meal after that and take my first meal at 11:00 A.M with one coconut water and then overnight soaked oat meal . Can you please suggest what i am doing wrong since these days I feel less energy and pain in body too. I can't workout during eating window due to my tight work schedule . Kindly suggest mam. I had same issues, try starting with beginners level 12:12 for 10 days and then gradually decreasing eating hour like 14 : 10 for another and 15 : 9 for 10 days and then reach to 16 : 8 . This worked for me. By doing this way u won't get stressed or have low energy levels mostly.
Working out fasted is not a problem. I'd say the oats & coconut water is. Try high protein & fats. Eggs, fish, meat, green veggies. Try salmon with broccoli for Lunch or a spinach omelette (2 eggs). Your sugars will not drop as they will after oats & coconut water and that makes you feeling tired.
Whatever you eat in eating window that should be wholesome food, like eating raw rice or millets which are unpolished, only then we can stay longer without food

I wish you mentioned something about the affect of fasting on hormones in females especially ones with PCOS.. because there is very confusing information out on internet, some recommend fasting, some don't. As a woman with pcos who badly wants to lose weight, I find fasting very helpful in weight loss but I am so scared it may mess up my already messed period cycle.. I have read fasting helps with insulin resistance so I think it should help in pcos symptoms, please correct me or make a video on fasting and hormones in women. my diet is more or less clean , my fasting method is 16:8, I basically have a very early dinner by 5pm. and break the fast around 9am by eating soaked dry fruits etc and then go to yoga class and then have a proper high protein breakfast.

I think dry fruits or fruits won’t be ideal.. and even it won’t help gut healing! But please take advice from experts.

Hello Mam, I am following 16:8 IF from last 2 months but i am feeling low energy these days . I start my day at 6:30 AM by taking two glasses of luke warm water and then one cup of herbal tea to recharge my body. I usually do my jogging and home workout around 7:30-9:00 but i dont take any post workout meal after that and take my first meal at 11:00 A.M with one coconut water and then overnight soaked oat meal . Can you please suggest what i am doing wrong since these days I feel less energy and pain in body too. I can't workout during eating window due to my tight work schedule . Kindly suggest mam. Thank you ☺️

I had same issues, try starting with beginners level 12:12 for 10 days and then gradually decreasing eating hour like 14 : 10 for another and 15 : 9 for 10 days and then reach to 16 : 8 . This worked for me. By doing this way u won't get stressed or have low energy levels mostly.
Working out fasted is not a problem. I'd say the oats & coconut water is. Try high protein & fats. Eggs, fish, meat, green veggies. Try salmon with broccoli for Lunch or a spinach omelette (2 eggs). Your sugars will not drop as they will after oats & coconut water and that makes you feeling tired.
Whatever you eat in eating window that should be wholesome food, like eating raw rice or millets which are unpolished, only then we can stay longer without food

I wish you mentioned something about the affect of fasting on hormones in females especially ones with PCOS.. because there is very confusing information out on internet, some recommend fasting, some don't.
As a woman with pcos who badly wants to lose weight, I find fasting very helpful in weight loss but I am so scared it may mess up my already messed period cycle.. I have read fasting helps with insulin resistance so I think it should help in pcos symptoms, please correct me or make a video on fasting and hormones in women.
my diet is more or less clean , my fasting method is 16:8, I basically have a very early dinner by 5pm. and break the fast around 9am by eating soaked dry fruits etc and then go to yoga class and then have a proper high protein breakfast.

Fasting is good for PCOS. But after fasting healthy eating is main .. and fasting will surely help in this
