I normally don't get excited for most scanners, but this Ancel V6 is a very impressive diagnostics tool with dealer level functionality. In this video, I demonstrate how you can diagnose a car, even an electric car, using this tool. Not only is this a full system scanner, meaning you can scan every single module of each system on most cars, but you also get actuation (active, bi-directional) testing which allows you to turn on different functions of the car. This is extremely helpful when testing new parts or even troubleshooting to see if your repair has worked. You can also bleed coolant by running the water pump or even unwind the electronic parking brake to change the brake pads. In addition to this impressive functionality, you can also do dealer level maintenance items which isn't usually offered on anything but high end scanners. On top of all of this functionality, you are also presented with 15 different special functions that allow you to perform ABS bleeding, key programming and work within EPB, DPF, BMS, TPMS, Injector Coding and much more. This scan tool uses modern software and hardware that allows it to be very fast while going through the menus and scanning cars.

@@taipan8021 I believe if you got it from an authorized dealer they have to honor the lifetime updates…. I always save my reciepts just in case
Hey man nice video. But you said no monthly fee. It comes with 2 year free update then you have to buy yearly update. The sit from $80 to $320 for a year.
I am interested to read all the individual 96 nos. Li battery voltages making up 350v hv battery. Can it do that? It would be great if it can change the root limits of useable voltage such as say from 3.4v to 4.1v.
We tried it on 2 cars (after pay for a year's subscription) we can scan the car for diagnosis on both.
First car; Renault --- Megane --- 2013 ---
Second car; Renault --- Megane --- 2018 ---
Only hot function does not work, it also does not give right vin number. The company After two weeks of e-mailing back and forth, we get no solution at all

New Subscriber here, In your opinion which Bi-directional scanner at $500 price range do you rate the highest that also has free updates and no fees to use the Bi-directional feature.
I would also like to know this. But so far I've been hearing good reviews with the Ancel V6 so I'm thinking I would go with this one.
@@Chris-vh3dd I have also decided to try the Ancel v6. At the time of this post it's $509 with a $50 off coupon on Amazon. Also it has lifetime free updates unlike other scanners such as Autel, Xtool, Think tool, etc. which from my research all have no free updates, 1 yr or 2 yr. or 3 yr free updates then fees thereafter..One brand even has fees per vehicle so for the price of the Ancel V6 w/free lifetime updates, it seems to be the better buy. There is one other BLUETOOTH plug-in scan tool/ app that is considerable for the price which is the Xtool Anyscan A30M($219)Lifetime free updates. Depending on what your scan tool needs are it has alot of the same functionality for the weekend backyard mechanic like myself..

Do not buy it I regret buying it after 5 months of use it stop working and the company doesn't respond at all. I regret buying it. Trash
