Hi Alice, I bought the first 2 Garlic books based on your recommendation from a previous video. I was saving them for the fall and it turns out that the timing was perfect. I had a week full of 12-14 hour days and could only read for a short while each night and Garlic and The Vampire was the perfect read to come home to. I am currently reading Ninth House so I think Garlic and The Witch will be a nice break after that. I find that the "typical" cozy mysteries are great to read in between heavy reads as they are fun and light. Thanks for the video! 👻🕷🕸🧄
I've recently finished re-reading "Digital Minimalism" by Carl Newport. And I began reading "Deep Work", one of his earlier books. And I'm finding them so useful and insightful. I don't want to be dramatic, but they're quite life changing 😃
I just did a week of reading mystery books, it was exactly what i needed 😊
Glad you had such a cosy day
Every video of your is like that perfect freshly baked muffin accompanied by a mug of tea✨️🍁So cozy, so "please last a bit longer"🕯
Currently reading The swift and the Harrier by Minette Walters and throughly enjoying it.
Adding The Sister Who Ate Her Brothers on my tbr this spooky season. Right now I'm reading Ordinary Monsters by J.M. Miro
Really enjoyed this cosy video! Now I'm putting The Sister Who Ate Her Brothers on my wishlist, it looks beautiful.
You really set a mood.😊. This vlog had a cliffhanger, though - I’m dying to know which book you chose to finish off your evening!😮
Alas, I ended up playing my Switch heheheh 😅 But I started In the Shadow Garden today!
@@TheBookCastle Thanks! 😊
