@Jesus Hitler you're such a dumbass
Lmao imagine commenting on a comment that's 10 years old and starting arguments with people
Sad
1:03 Kirt was either really impressed at the new guitar world Robert just opened up for him with Flamingo or was actually really worried his job was actually in jeopardy lmao
kirt
As a testament to there ability. Notice how the whole group is learning more ways to do the same thing. Stay thirsty for knowledge my friends. 🙏🏽🕉
Rob Trujillo 's awesome. He can be so scary, but he's so super nice. He's like Jason Mamoa; he's this monstrous human with the heart of an artist.
THATS VERY TRUE. i met him recently and he was just the nicest most chill dude ever
Lars: "What're you guys doing?"
Them: "Doing adult stuff. Don't interrupt."
yeah Lars, go back to your corner with your crayons & coloring books.
Kirk got interrupted while he was trying to learn.
Robert seems like such a likable guy that appreciates his opportunity to be with these guys.
Damn!
Bassist, Guitar Player, Composer and the WWE Universal Champion!
lol
acknowledge HIM
He should be sitting at the 'Head of the Table' after this..
Hetfield has so many Gibsons they still have their pricetags on.
They don't have price tags when they make them for you for free... He doesn't pay for his Gibson's
keithadams812 I’m sure he doesn’t exclusively own his signature models. He pays for some.
Calm down fellas.Henke was having fun. And also, those are tags to keep them in the right case and the right section of storage.
@@cliffw1210 I think you're mistaken. That's a Gibson, clearly. He's toyed around with Gibson on making the Iron Cross signature, but never went through with it because ESP offered to make it first (and did a shit job at it). Gibson did make a prototype, as seen in this video. Notice no wear marks?
Anyway, he didn't end up with Gibson making the iron cross, but he did end up with some prototypes. I have had the opportunity to speak to James about this, so my source is good.
@@cliffw1210 I know that. In fact I owned the limited edition black one for a short while. What I am saying is that your info is incorrect. You are telling me, that the clearly visible Gibson Iron Corss prototype in the video is an ESP. You are talking to probably one of the biggest Hetfield fanboys on the planet.
How long was he in the band before be thought he’d mention he could shred flamenco!? Thats some serious humility
He mentioned it pretty much right away. In the doc he mentions his dad taught him.
I remember Dave Grohl saying the best way for a drummer to get fired from a band is to say "hey guys lets try some of my songs" lol, Its probably the same for the Bass player
@@daviddundas4140 I would say the opposite, at least for Metallica, all of the songs with their bass player in the writing credits have been bangers
@@daviddundas4140 that's probably why he switched from a drummer ( one of the best from the 90's) to a singer/guitarist.
I just love how robert knows how well he playes and still is so shy about it like the face he made at the end even tho he knows how much he shreds. I love his modesty.
Lars asked Trujillo to give him drum lessons
Legend says he´s giving James singing lessons now...
BS, Lars never takes advice from anyone.
Rob responded with "sure,Just as long as you do not drop the volume of my bass playing in the final mix." you Tennis Playing Nancy Boy.
He's the longest serving bass player in Metallica history, and he's still looked at as the new guy, he's just the most recent guy.
This actually started All Nightmare Long, pretty cool to see such a good song start from an accoustic falmenco playing by Robert
I can clearly see it, there's a moment where my brain was unconciously singing: "still you run, whats to come? whats to be?".
@@marmota7615 Is the riff in the video is totally same as the song? I think they are not same
@@bryndentully9235 only the riff that comes before and after james says "luck-runs-out" (this one is played at a different place in the neck of the guitar), and the one that I mentioned in the other comment (this one has 2 extra notes in this video) are in All Nightmare Long
finally, i've been looking for this comment.... glad someone else noticed too
The best part of this is the intense look of concentration and respect on Kirk's face as he watches around the 1 min mark
Dude, Roman Reigns is a really good guitar player
Funny because I'd figure seth is the guitar player
😂😂
And how about Ambrose sitting on the couch with absolutely no idea what's going on
@@adamthapazz4137 its moxley now innit?
Jajajajajajajajajajajajaja
Flamenco is the heaviest style made for acoustic guitar.
Yes haha 🤘🏻
@@MiguelSS1994 awesome Opeth profile picture. Morning rose is a good album.

2:10 en ese momento Kirk sintió el verdadero terror
Man I love hearing flamenco on acoustic guitar. Absolutely beautiful music.
Robert is not playing an acoustic guitar , is a classic guitar 👍👍
@@DiegoGomez-uo2dkyou sure? Doesn't sound like nylon strings to me
@@igorz3551 The design of this guitar is classical. Also, in the parts of the video where the camera zooms on the guitar, you can notice that the strings look like nylon strings. And I think it sounds like nylon strings when he plays the high notes.
0:36 - Gaddafi enters
Jajajajajjaja
Hahahah the music fits it
😭
😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 lmfao
1:08 you can see the moment Kirk thinks he's about to be replaced.
XDDDD
he looks scared af
Hetfield: let's play Unforgiven
Trujillo: let's Slap Flamenco
1:04 Kirk is like damn it how is this bass player doing this better than me?🎸🎸🎸
Rob: *doing cool music skills
James: "let me try that out, we can write a song from this"
Kirk: "uh oh, wtf is happening? Am I about to get Dave Mustained??"
Lars: "mmmm, these are some tasty crayons"
Metallica in a nutshell
I just DIED laughing at what you did with Lars 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hmmm my favorite... crayola
Lars... is a Marine?
LMAO 🤣
I rarely ever actually "lol," not man you nailed it! 😂
"Dave Mustained"
The fact that the misspelling on the title hasn’t been revised yet just makes this video even more legendary.
What u saying
@@washburnepiphone the word "acoustic" is misspelled as "acustic"
Hahaha I've watched this forever and I've never noticed 😄
It says 'flamingo' instead of flamenco 🙄
1:55 a homeless man walks into a room with three musicians playing
I thought it’s Lars, lol
😂😂😂😂
He looks like Couch guy from Half Baked
He looks like a professional or something.
Hahahahahahaha lmfao 🤣
Kirk looks AT Rob in genuine awe like he's genuinely worried that he's not as talented!!! And part of that riff definitely has been used on the most recent album on All Nightmare Long!!!
James knew he heard a banger and went with it.
Everytime I see Rob, I think, he's such a humble person. A really cool guy.
"He's a good flamingo" is my favorite quote of all time
funny when james says to kirk : "your gig is in jeopardy man!"
Great band!
I fell in love with All Nightmare Long back in 2008, and I found this video in 2012 ( I know, I was late for the real action) but this blew my mind as a teen growing up near the border enjoying a mash of cultures
Lars: "What are you guys doing?"
Guys: "Being talented."
Bruh.
Only James and Rob would have said that let’s be honest
@@DarkHallwayz Very true lol
Lars: "being what?"
Lol
Kirk responds to high five like he's never seen it done before. How many times has Robert been left hanging over the years? 🤣🤣🤣
Sooooo thats why jason left the band........to many damn high hangs.
He has the keys on the hand 😂
Lars: Not even the best drummer in the band
Kirk and James: Not even the best guitarists in the band
Robert- Still the best bassist in the band.
*Guitatist*
There's a reason why he was Ozzy's bass first lol
@@kartikaye3313 Robert: not even the best bassist in the band
Iconic comment
It's crazy how much Robert glues the whole band together and elevates all of their moods
1:07 the notes in between ...😂
...are fucking with me"- Hammett, Kirk.
Lars immediately sucks all the energy out of the room
Like always
He feels like he don't belong there
Yes, he sucks.
Hahaha
Haha.
Why am I watching this...
Hetfield: “Dude, your gig’s in jeopardy!”
Hammett: [ nervous laughter ] 😏
Super sick Trujillo is a legend 👊🏽👊🏽🇲🇽🇲🇽
I've always liked Robert's playing. He's not only a masterful bassist, but a truly masterful musician as this video proves...!!!
That was really cool to see muscians actually create through collaboration and respect..beautiful. Thats Art
0:28 I love this moment when James goes 0-100 from joy to seriousness. "We're gonna use this stuff for sure"
I think Trujillo is really easy to get along with not to mention he’s an Amazing musician
