Anyway, he didn't end up with Gibson making the iron cross, but he did end up with some prototypes. I have had the opportunity to speak to James about this, so my source is good.
@@cliffw1210 I know that. In fact I owned the limited edition black one for a short while. What I am saying is that your info is incorrect. You are telling me, that the clearly visible Gibson Iron Corss prototype in the video is an ESP. You are talking to probably one of the biggest Hetfield fanboys on the planet.
Kirk walks in and James said, "dude, your gig's in jeapordy." 🤣🤣🤣
Such a cool friendship and nice sound
1:13 Honestly, those flamenco riffs sound awesome on electric guitar.
They used in all nightmare long
Maybe Different amp settings in my opinion a lot of modulation or at least it sounds like it
It aint flamenco bro
@@damiancoronel7756 yeah but only the tail and the ascending anticipation before pre-verse thrash descent

Kirk looks AT Rob in genuine awe like he's genuinely worried that he's not as talented!!! And part of that riff definitely has been used on the most recent album on All Nightmare Long!!!
James knew he heard a banger and went with it.
Damn this guy plays really good! He should be in a band 🔥
Lars asked Trujillo to give him drum lessons
Legend says he´s giving James singing lessons now...
BS, Lars never takes advice from anyone.
Rob responded with "sure,Just as long as you do not drop the volume of my bass playing in the final mix." you Tennis Playing Nancy Boy.
This guy’s talented, I hope Metallica hires him.
Hope he doesnt focking leave the band.
Hope they don't turn him down in the mix
Hope he doesn't die in a bus crash

He should be sitting at the 'Head of the Table' after this..

21 years in thi is moment
Epic footage
I saw Robert Trujillo play a bass solo with Metallica in 2004 and it blew me away. He was spinning in circles so fast like he was on a super fast carousel and playing at the same time. Didn't miss a beat.
1:04 gets me every time 🤣 still love Kirk
I relate so hard to these moments with Kirk haha
His concentration face has no right to be that cute 😂
yeah because hes probably thinking “what scale is this guy playing”
It’s the notes in between that are fucking with him.
1:05 He saying: What a fu...k'is that !! 🤣🤣 Genius Bob.
Got to talk with him at the DMV in Newhall CA.
Cool dude.
