With another day in beautiful San Pedro, Belize ahead of me, I headed out to gorgeous Caye Caulker to get a taste of the country’s amazing seafood!

CAYE BREEZE CAFE: On the beach, we saw a man named Sherman grilling pork and chicken outside of Caye Breeze Cafe. We also met some vendors selling jewelry made from conch shells!
ICE N’ BEANS: Here, I got a shot of mocha vanilla iced latte and a cold brew coffee.
LOBSTER: Near the beach, we found Chef Kareem, who grills lobsters and pork chops. He gets them from a fisherman by the water who catches them. Chef Kareem seasons them and adds garlic butter and seasoning. The lobster was tender, buttery, and succulent, and came with some coconut rice and beans and a fresh salad.
THE SPLIT: Next, we headed to The Split, a channel in the sea carved by a hurricane. You can jump from platforms into the water there, and you can also find craft vendors selling wooden sculptures and carved Mayan calendars.
PRIME SUPERMARKET: Here, we browsed the shelves and found a lot of items you’d find in the US: toilet tissue, Heinz ketchup, hot sauces, Pringles, sodas, fresh fruit, and more. We also passed a nearby no-kill animal shelter!

Good Sunday morning David. Belize, beautiful Belize, you better Belize it. What a very nice vacation destination. Friendly people, delicious food and drinks, sandy beaches: a place to throw all your worries in the wind. Seeing you jump in the sea looked dangerous but you did it. WOW!!! Did you hurt anything? Such clear blue/green waters ...clean white sands ....lots of grillled meats ...rice/beans and grilled lobster...looked really delicious...nice relaxing view of the sea ...shells nice art sculptures... a really nice place to vacation...would love to go there at some time. Good information and I do appreciate you featuring my country and more so my beautiful islands. However not all info you research or was given is accurate, since I just watch this one I’m going to make a point of correction with the store prices (prime supermarket) all prices in our local store are Belize Dollars as that is he ONLY official currency. USD and other currencies are accepted depending on the merchant. So what you were seeing in the store was actually half the price in USD, so for example the large ketchup at $10.95 BZD just under $5.50 USD I think is good price since all those stuff has to be imported into the country. Just my 2 cents!! Good job and I love your content.

The grilled lobster skewers there on the beach are addicting! Now you have me craving them. Caye Caulker is a fun, quaint little gem 😊

Wow, last time I was there was in 1979, and it was just a few bars and a couple of backpackers places. This looks bigger than San Pedro was back in those days!
