You shouldn’t, we as Syrians will be killed by the regime forces in two minutes if we get back but they are streaming this for you so they can use these videos to put pressure on refugees to get back and be arrested by Bashar Alasad forces.
Thank you for your sympathy, but unfortunately most of the people live in extreme poverty, and they have to work day for day to get their food for one day. Do not think that what is being portrayed is the truth and the normal, comfortable life of the people. Rather, the truth is that they are very poor and live with difficulty because of the bad state system and the unjust, murderous dictatorship.

I'm from Jordan, and we have a lot of Syrian restaurants here. Whenever I try one, I never leave disappointed! I can confirm that Syrian food is the best of all time
No, they only have the appetizers and mashawi not real meals! Morocco is still number one in the Arab world and number 3 worldwide! Syrian food just like lebanese jordanian and palestinian is better eaten at restaurants like falafel hummus fatteh mashawi
@@znadiaster6630 That is your opinion. Our cuisine is much more than what you described. 😂I bet you're living in a nice W Western country. Fly across the world to live in a country of completely different people as you heap phony praise on the part of the world you couldn't wait to escape from. Just like in the book, " Camp of the Saints."
Misinformation. Syria is the sixth most food-insecure country in the world. 16.7 million Syrians depend on humanitarian assistance to survive. Nearly 6 million Syrians cannot get enough food and are surviving off of World Food Programme (WFP) handouts. WFP estimates that 16.7 million Syrians - over half the Syrian population - are in the grip of hunger today. It is clearly misinformation to show all the food, suggesting Syrians are OK, when WFP says Syrians are starving. Remove this video.
I got emotional watching this vlog, lived there more than 6 years in Damascus and am so happy to see a famous vlogger going there to film and eat. Just to let you know, the people there are struggling soooo hard to (eat) their (traditional basic FOOD). Pray for them to get the life they deserve. btw, the monthly income for the workers is less than 100$.

You mean after the illegal invasions and infighting, created by the CIA and corrupt Western elites. Leaving thousands to their death and many ancient buildings and modern infrastructure back to rubble. Do you know that Syria in the early twentieth century and under the ottoman empire had the third of it's population as Christians😮 , and after European christian colonization carried out by french in Syria and in Lebanon and Britain in Palestine, which decomposed the ottoman empire, now christians in Syria reduced from 33% of population to just 5% and in Lebanon from 66% as a majority to 33% and Palestine from 10 % before Israeli occupation 1948 to less than 2% of the population. Do you know before American occupation of Iraq 2003 the christians were 4 times their number now😮? Christians were 25% of all Arab region population in the early 20th century and under the ottoman empire, now christians are just 5% of the Arab region population 😮. That proves strongly the christians lived much better under Islam empires for 1300 years , and their matters deteriorated only after European christian colonization and american infringement in the region 😮

How does your restaurant obtain the food to provide all the tasty Syrian dishes? Explain who your suppliers are because Syria is the sixth most food-insecure country in the world. 16.7 million Syrians depend on humanitarian assistance to survive. None of them are coming to your restaurant. Nearly 6 million Syrians cannot get enough food and are surviving off of World Food Programme (WFP) handouts. WFP estimates that 16.7 million Syrians - over half the Syrian population - are in the grip of hunger today. It is clearly misinformation to suggest Syrians are OK, and not starving when WFP says Syrians are starving. They are feeding over 5 million Syrians and the country received over a billion in foreign aid, just to survive each year, whilst your evil Dictator Assad continues to fight a 14 + year long civil war and has jailed 46,000 people without charge, 90% of them are women and children. So excuse me for accusing this video of misinformation, if you really do manage a restaurant in Syria, whilst Syrians are starving you should be ashamed of yourself. The World Food Programme would like to know how you are obtaining your supplies to make all the tasty food Mark shows. Will you provide a better price to feed 16 million Syrians 3 meals a day? Remove video.

What makes Syrian food so special isn't just the talent of the chefs, the ancient recipes, the unique flavours and combinations, but also the fact that Syrian food is all from Syria. All the meat, fruit, and vegetables are local, they are not imported from Iraq, or Europe, or wherever. This means the ingredients are super fresh, non-GMO, organic, and everything you eat came only an hours drive away at most.

@@Zikkim-bx1iy No that is not true in government held Syria, maybe it's true in Turkish occupied Syria in the North, that they get most of their food from Turkey. You can see import data for Syria online, furthermore there is a scientific paper titled "The Resilience of Syrian Agriculture" which outlines key ways in how Syria is food self-sustainable despite the lack of GMO food. Syria has incredibly fertile soil, you can sow the lands over and over. Syria allows anyone to own farm animals and have them roam around the entire country, like the side of highways, in city streets, in ancient sites, in the mountains, farm animals are pretty much everywhere, and they're eating natural grass and plants and not manufactured grains. There are also specific Syrian government farming policies dating back to the 70's preparing for war with Israel, and the sanctions from the United States has made Syria a self-sustaining food resilient country. Further evidence is that Syria also has one of the largest seed banks in the world. In this video you can see Mark says Syrian shawarma and rotisserie is the best, and he just came from Turkey. Turkey is becoming more concrete and less farm as time goes on, it reduces the freshness of the flavours in the meat. Same with Lebanon. That is why Syria is number 1, there is no factory farming, it is pure, natural, hard-working, farming with the benefit of free-roaming animals.

How does your restaurant obtain the food to provide all the tasty Syrian dishes?
Explain who your suppliers are because
Syria is the sixth most food-insecure country in the world.
16.7 million Syrians depend on humanitarian assistance to survive.

You should find some Russian food as well and you should smile the blood in the food in a country controlled by the most criminal dictator on earth. Six million Syrians have been displaced outside their country, in addition to thousands of dead, wounded, and missing because of this criminal, murderous regime. You are an American, Mark, and your values do not allow you to visit Syria, which is ruled by a criminal, brutal, dirty, cowardly, and terrifying person.

Exactly
