Omg someone finally mentions urea!! This ingredient was my holy grail when trying to cure my terrible hormonal acne. It calmed my skin, restored my barrier from excessive exfoliation and nourished it back to health. I used the Hada Labo moisturiser mentioned in the video. Wish urea was more ubiquitous than these fancy botanical ingredients. Thanks for the video Dr Dray!
Urea 5% in Eucerin for face literally saved me from psoriasis... I returned to my normal life after meeting this cream. Using it now only occasionally. And I tried A LOT of products previously. Thin layer of Urea 5% is also an amazing make up base for dry skin.
I’’m from the Netherlands and I often go shopping in Germany and let me tell you, Germany is THE capital of urea products. Every drugstore there (DM and Rossmann) has their own brand urea products from foot to body to facecare but there are also other big brands that have urea containing products,. Heck even supermarkets carry their own urea products 😅 urea overloaddd and it is suuuper cheap so I’m not complaining ☺️

I've used the Sukoyaka Suhada Urea Toner for over a year and I love it. One of the few products that have remained in my skin care as I've refined it over the past year. Nothing else can replace it for my dry skin.
I’m in the UK right now and just picked up the “rich” version of the Eucerin Urea Repair cream. My skin is super dry and this is great for me. It adds shea and sunflower oil and makes my skin feel so plump. On US Amazon I see the same thing is branded as the “night” version (rather than “rich”).

I've been using the Sukoyaka Suhada Urea Moisturizing Eye Cream. I know we don't need a specific eye cream but nevertheless I love it! I also use it as a cuticle cream. I usually apply this under my eyes after cleansing at night and then apply a little vaseline over the top of it before applying trentinoin to the rest of my face.
I was thinking about purchasing this eye cream but its really expensive in the UK. Eucerin is widely available & affordable here. Do you think i could just use the Eucerin instead of purchasing the Sukoyaka eye cream?
@R Noor maybe you can do a little patch test first. Dr Dray always says if your skin can tolerate it you can do it. Eucerin often (always?) has urea in it so I am thinking this might work!

I have been using the Sukoyaka Suhada urea moisture lotion for months now and I swear just like you say it is like pressing water into your face but my skin seems to be much softer and yes, I absolutely see the brightening more so on my skin. Also another product that I just LOVE and is my favorite is Beauty of Joseon - Radiance Cleansing Balm! This I use in my 1st step of my double cleanse. This one is my holy grail I am telling you...not only because it worked (thanks to you, @Dr. Dray ) but my skin feels so soft, subtle and I have literally seen a difference in my skin. So obsessed with these products - I do love the Urea lotion also.
Never in my entire 35 years of existence have I found anything that compares to urea. I’ve tried azelaic acid, ascorbic acid, retinol, AHA/BHA, snail mucin, bee venom, and niacinimide just to name some ingredients. Those ingredients are helpful and nice additions, but nothing compares to urea. I use eucerin advanced repair cream on my face and it is my holy grail. I honestly can’t imagine what I would do without it. The results are truly profound
Makes sense when you know what each of those products is supposed to do, urea is very different but then I blame marketing. They put zero effort into educating the public. All we know so far is hyaluronic acid is supposed to hydrate and soap cleans lol I loved urea on my body and now after having my rosacea finally diagnosed as keratosis I cannot wait to see how it will improve the angry red pores!

There' s a urban legend (in Spain) about the source of urea and where the labs buy it from wich is as disgusting as false 🤦🏻♀️ Some people can tolerate to use it on their feet but 😱face??🤢 Our grandparents used the natural version when their hands where destroyed by cold temperatures, endless working days on the country and extreme malnutrition and poverty. That' s why is so refused and underrated here, plus the word comes from latin so it gives us an idea by itself, sounds familiar. I have dry, sensitive skin and I use the eucerin advanced repair lotion on my face from time to time when I want some exfoliation and I love it! Doesn’t irritate my skin at all.
I use the Walgreens brand dupe for eucerin urea lotion. Its called Walgreens Intense Dry Skin Therapy Lotion. It has urea and lactic acid. I LOVE IT 💕 Its 16.9 oz for about $11 Yes use it on body AND face, so softening and smoothing! Btw I put it on backs of my hands cover with Vaseline and OMG ❤softer than a baby's butt lol
So glad you introduced me to urea a few years ago. Other great urea containing products: Cetaphil oil free moisturizer, regimen labs wave serum, malezia urea moisturizer, Geek and gorgeous happy hydrating something toner (I didn't care for that one)
Eucerin for the win! Inexpensive and super effective. Every single one of their products has been a hit for me. I've been eyeing the Hada Labo Perfect Gel, definitely going to add to cart now lol.

I love this face cream from Eucerin. They actually make two Urea repair face creams. Both are good. One is called replenishing face cream and that one is the lighter one, which she showed in this video. The rich replenishing face cream has ceramides added and as Dr. Dray would say it’s thick and greazzzzy. The newer packaging says suitable for night care. I love that one for my dry thirsty skin. I use it night and day but might be too shiny for some for day time. The replenishing is also good for day if you don’t like that.
Urea lotion/cream REALLY made a huge difference in HEALING my hands. When young I didn't realize how damaging cleaning agents were to my hands, plus winter weather, frequent washing etc. My hands were cracked and BLEEDING from scratching and what turned out to be contact dermatitis. My dermatologist recommended Aqua Care 10% Urea lotion. It worked miracles! I still use it whenever my hands start breaking out with bumps & itchiness.
Thanks for turning me on to Pique matcha. I drink it throughout the day at work and at home. Tried other brands-not as good, so now I'm subscribe and saving. My health has never been better. My digestion is cured, I've lost 10 lbs which I wasn't trying to, my teeth look whiter. Frankly, my overall mood has changed. I'm easier to get along with, more positive about things. It's better than antidepressants. This is just my experience. And no, I don't work for them.

My face has been dry flaky and very sensitive since I had Covid a little while ago and the Sukoyaka Suhada products have brought it back to life. I love the lotion the eye cream and have just started using the face cream and my skin is starting to recover. I wish there was a little more information on the package in English so I could read it but the products are really nice 👍
I have really dry and dehydrated skin and I found the eucerin one in the drug store by chance a few months ago and bought it and it is amazing!!! some people may think im crazy but i have eczema and i love putting the medicated hand cream (the red one) of shiseido both on face and hands. It works perfectly with creams containing ceramides like the CeraVe ones. It really calms my skin and It's also cheap in price.
I first heard of the eucerin urea cream many years ago from Wayne Goss. He recommends an acne treatment: Wash face, apply urea cream, then 10% benzyl peroxide over the top (where needed). Works like a charm on my teen's acne. Prevents skin getting too dry.

I use tret every night and when my morning moisturizer is Eucerin (it can be either CeraVe, Cetaphil, Hada Labo or Cosrx depending on the availability) I have no problems at all with urea. I’ve been using the SUKOYAKA SUHADA, eye cream for about a year, and love it ! I know you don’t need a separate eye cream, but my skin was so dry, and a beauty influencer I follow was so impressed with it, so had to try. It’s been my HG, but also like the DRMTLGY eye cream as a close 2nd. I used the SS Urea toner too. I was thinking of trying their face cream, but think I’ll stick to the one’s I’m using, not ready to experiment, since I have my skincare routine the way I like it. ( for now 😂). Gold Bond pure moisture has same ingredients. No sticky feel. Nice satin finish. Apply to face while still semi wet. Helps sunblock glide on face wonderfully 😁👌🏼I have combo dehydrated skin. 🤓

Finally! Urea, that ignored ingredient but super helpful. The only but, the irritation. I came back to it, for my dehydrated skin and with texture, is a game changer. Turns red after and stings (sensitve skin), but i can't live without it. A good pain.
My mother and I have used urea for decades. It was recommended to my mom from her derm in the 80s for her atopic dermatitis and she used it for mine too, when I was a kid. We just always went back to urea products whenever we do have problems with our skin.
@@mochichim8966 I would definitely wait until it's closed and not an open wound. If it is bleeding etc, I'm going directly to the derm, because I need other meds and bandages etc. Urea is perfectly for cooled down eczemas and/or to prefend them.

OMG! Zeroid richenic cream urea 5% saved my face I had very dry skin because tretinoin and I tried several moustirizers but didn't help until I saw your video about this product I love it! After I ordered from Amazon twice the product wasn't available so I got it from Atopalm very nice website they even sent me 4 samples( nice size) from the zeroid brand and I order 5 tubes because I don't want to run out of this beautiful cream. Eucerin's Advanced Repair Body cream has urea and lactic acid. The company doesn't and won't say the amount (why??) but company representative says in the question section on Amazon, that you "can" use in on the face! It is wonderful on the face and body! They also have the formula in a lotion. It has helped me so much in repairing my skin barrier after a bad case of contact dermatitis from ammonia in hair dye. (btw Madison Reed is ammonia free, and my stylist also has a professional formula that is ammonia free for anyone else with an issue with ammonia causing itchy scalp.)
Yes! So excited for this video. I have wanted to try all these products before. Face Theory has a urea hand cream that I have wanted to try that I imagine would be fine on the face. I found and purchase the PYUNKANG YUL ATO Lotion Blue Label that has urea in it and I have really enjoyed it. Would recommend! Got it on Amazon for $10! It’s meant for babies but works great on the face
I mix more urea into the Suhada “ lotion “ , which is quite watery , and use it on my face before moisturizer. Or just use it as moisturizer. Since it’s summer , that is all I need. I’m oily as can be .

I have dry, sensitive skin and I use the eucerin advanced repair lotion on my face from time to time when I want some exfoliation and I love it! Doesn’t irritate my skin at all.

I use the Walgreens brand dupe for eucerin urea lotion. Its called Walgreens Intense Dry Skin Therapy Lotion. It has urea and lactic acid. I LOVE IT 💕 Its 16.9 oz for about $11

So glad you introduced me to urea a few years ago. Other great urea containing products: Cetaphil oil free moisturizer, regimen labs wave serum, malezia urea moisturizer, Geek and gorgeous happy hydrating something toner (I didn't care for that one)

I love this face cream from Eucerin.
They actually make two Urea repair face creams. Both are good. One is called replenishing face cream and that one is the lighter one, which she showed in this video.
The rich replenishing face cream has ceramides added and as Dr. Dray would say it’s thick and greazzzzy. The newer packaging says suitable for night care. I love that one for my dry thirsty skin. I use it night and day but might be too shiny for some for day time.
The replenishing is also good for day if you don’t like that.
The one she has in her description doesn’t say replenishing, but the one she is using in the video is replenishing. Any idea if it’s the same thing?
Urea lotion/cream REALLY made a huge difference in HEALING my hands. When young I didn't realize how damaging cleaning agents were to my hands, plus winter weather, frequent washing etc. My hands were cracked and BLEEDING from scratching and what turned out to be contact dermatitis. My dermatologist recommended Aqua Care 10% Urea lotion. It worked miracles! I still use it whenever my hands start breaking out with bumps & itchiness.
Here in sweden, 5% urea creams are soooo cheap and widely available. Every pharmacy has their own brand. Love the formula too!

Keratosis pilaris, it's a condition that causes rough bumpy patches on the skin. It looks a little like acne on my son's face and he's only 7.

My face has been dry flaky and very sensitive since I had Covid a little while ago and the Sukoyaka Suhada products have brought it back to life. I love the lotion the eye cream and have just started using the face cream and my skin is starting to recover. I wish there was a little more information on the package in English so I could read it but the products are really nice 👍

I have really dry and dehydrated skin and I found the eucerin one in the drug store by chance a few months ago and bought it and it is amazing!!! I’ve never found a product that got rid of the tight dry feeling in my skin no matter how much I used but this one does it even using it alone and just one layer!! ❤️ love it

I've fallen in love with urea. It's properties are phenomenal, it completely transformed my dry af hands and helped the rough skin on my legs. It literally leaves my skin so velvety and plush.

Altruist has a fantastic 10% urea cream that rob from mad about skin raves about, it's a 200 ml bottle and in the uk is under £5! No nasties in it just great ingredients like glycerin and bisabolol which is soothing and has anti inflammatory properties, if your in the uk just my look has it back in stock with free delivery no minimum spend it seems to be selling out every where at the moment.
The last one I'm so interested in trying. I've been using the purito b5 moisturizer and noticed that my skin loves panthanol and centella asiatica.
some people may think im crazy but i have eczema and i love putting the medicated hand cream (the red one) of shiseido both on face and hands. It works perfectly with creams containing ceramides like the CeraVe ones. It really calms my skin and It's also cheap in price.
I first heard of the eucerin urea cream many years ago from Wayne Goss. He recommends an acne treatment: Wash face, apply urea cream, then 10% benzyl peroxide over the top (where needed). Works like a charm on my teen's acne. Prevents skin getting too dry.

I use tret every night and when my morning moisturizer is Eucerin (it can be either CeraVe, Cetaphil, Hada Labo or Cosrx depending on the availability) I have no problems at all with urea. Haven' t tried it to buffer the tret at night, tbh. Sending a spanish hug🧛🏻♀️🖤

Check the composition on the website or on the product if you buy it from a physical store. If it's fraganced, it should be at the bottom of the list (under the name of Parfum / Fragance)
Naturekind Super Barrier Urea 5 Cream, has been very good for my skin. I love the texture, gel/cream and it leaves my skin very soft. Also has panthenol, ceramides and Centella.

I’ve been using the SUKOYAKA SUHADA, eye cream for about a year, and love it ! I know you don’t need a separate eye cream, but my skin was so dry, and a beauty influencer I follow was so impressed with it, so had to try. It’s been my HG, but also like the DRMTLGY eye cream as a close 2nd. I used the SS Urea toner too. I was thinking of trying their face cream, but think I’ll stick to the one’s I’m using, not ready to experiment, since I have my skincare routine the way I like it. ( for now 😂). Thanks for all of you recommendations, and especially with sunscreens. 🌞 You’ve helped me tremendously ! ☺️☺️

Finally! Urea, that ignored ingredient but super helpful. The only but, the irritation. I came back to it, for my dehydrated skin and with texture, is a game changer. Turns red after and stings (sensitve skin), but i can't live without it. A good pain.
I’ve been using a lip balm from first aid beauty that has urea in it and it has been a lifesaver for when my lips crack in the winter.

My mother and I have used urea for decades. It was recommended to my mom from her derm in the 80s for her atopic dermatitis and she used it for mine too, when I was a kid. We just always went back to urea products whenever we do have problems with our skin.

Urea is perfectly for cooled down eczemas and/or to prefend them.

OMG! Zeroid richenic cream urea 5% saved my face I had very dry skin because tretinoin and I tried several moustirizers but didn't help until I saw your video about this product I love it! After I ordered from Amazon twice the product wasn't available so I got it from Atopalm very nice website they even sent me 4 samples( nice size) from the zeroid brand and I order 5 tubes because I don't want to run out of this beautiful cream. Eucerin's Advanced Repair Body cream has urea and lactic acid. The company doesn't and won't say the amount (why??) but company representative says in the question section on Amazon, that you "can" use in on the face! It is wonderful on the face and body! They also have the formula in a lotion. It has helped me so much in repairing my skin barrier after a bad case of contact dermatitis from ammonia in hair dye. (btw Madison Reed is ammonia free, and my stylist also has a professional formula that is ammonia free for anyone else with an issue with ammonia causing itchy scalp.)

I found and purchase the PYUNKANG YUL ATO Lotion Blue Label that has urea in it and I have really enjoyed it. Would recommend! Got it on Amazon for $10! I mix more urea into the Suhada “ lotion “ , which is quite watery , and use it on my face before moisturizer. Or just use it as moisturizer. Since it’s summer , that is all I need. I’m oily as can be .
