Hello Mrs Soap & Clay. I have subscribed to you since the start of your channel and always watch all of your videos. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing and teaching. I've never considered making melt and pour soap but your video has inspired me to try it. Thank you again, you're awesome!
I just love your humor! Thanks for sharing this video. I'm am struggling trying to figure out how I will do this thing called "Homemade Melt and Pour".
Both types have their place! And let me tell you, from experience... using boxed cakes is less expensive and takes up less space. And one can always change the flavor of a boxed cake by using butter vs. oil or adding almond emulsion... or adding vanilla... Just sayin. ; ) There's also a place for M&P as well as CP or HP.

Also, I'm serious about that citronella. If you'll use it just say, "yes." I have no freaking clue what to do with it.

Hi I just watched your triple butter blend and my question is how can we make a clear melt and pour base? Do we just add propylene glycol and if so when do we add it? Thanks for making these videos and giving us a recipe to try. I had no idea I can make my own melt and pour that easy. You rock and you are so beautiful. Love the dress. 😍
This is awesome. Thank you so much! I’m so glad to see the different stages because I would have thought I messed it up at a few points! Thank you again!!
Mrs Soap & clay : - Can i make the MP base using any other CP recipes (with no adding ingredients like clay, flower, milk) and add glycerin? - I dont have a crocpot, can i use a electric temperature-controlable cooktop? - Can the HP be substituted by a CP soap- after 1 day of curing and we cut it to pieces, then cook with Glycerin? Thank you so much for answering these!
Really like how you said that CP soap makers are getting propped up because they make CP soap, and MP soapmakers are getting called "basic". I make CP and I find MP needs just as much skill to make. I'm actually no good at making MP at all, and usually avoid it. LOL! Thank you for making this video.

when making liquid soap, the KOH can be dissolved in glycerin...you can probably add it at any time...and I think it may induce the reaction to happen quicker.

Good morning Ms.Soap & Clay I just want to say thank you this video I love watching you teach the different techniques. My question for you is can one make glycerin m&p into liquid body wash?
This has been my first HP FAIL soap! Never turned into 100% liquid so I just saved the lumpy mixture in containers. Fingers crossed it'll work. I did test it and it's cooked at least.
I love your channel! Super awesome. I have a question about MP additives. From my understanding, powders can be used in MP. However, there is confusing info out there. Why can spirulina be used, but not powdered apple or powdered pumpkin? Is this true? If so, what's the science behind this?
Also what did you add in when you added the milk powder and clay....the stuff in the white bottle? Sorry for all the questions, just want to be sure I get this right...its my first try at this from scratch. Thanks so much
So, on the question of “Can any CP recipe be made into a glycerin m&p base,” can it, as long as you’ve got a boatload of castor oil in said recipe? My basic CP recipe is lard, coconut, olive, cocoa, canola, a little something like hemp or avocado oil, plus castor oil. I see most M&P bases also add beeswax. So if I pump up the castor %, add some beeswax and hot process it, I just need to add a 75-100% glycerin at the end to make it M&P?
You don’t even really need a bunch of castor oil! I’ve done a number of melt and pour recipes from scratch vids on the channel since this one - I think I made a playlist to make it easier!
I made this but made a bigger batch. I love the soap but mine stays tacky on the side that is not on the freezer paper. Can I get some tips on my recipe?
