Anthony, one of the most under appreciated attributes of lion diet is sense of generosity. Sharing meat with others is the highest form of expressions with friends and family. We all know an uncle or aunt who never fed us meat during visits and we never liked them back then and now. Now remember the others who offered plenty of meat during visits. We remember them fondly even though they didnt have much else. They had meat to eat period. This is the same in many african tribes. There is the reason why the maasai's walk for many kilometers while others seldom do. Meat makes you meet others.

I think Dr. Chaffee's point about being "used to being sick" is far more problimatic for people than most understand. I'd suggest that the vast majority of people past the age of about 20 years of age, dont understand how good they really chould or should feel. Why? cause they have been eating incorrectly for so long... and assume... that's how they should feel. There is a whole nother level of health and how you can feel when you consume a proper human diet.. and that definitely doesnt include high carb consumption.

Dr Chaffees talk about morning sickness would make a great short to send to women with morning sickness

    • @therealdeal3672
      @therealdeal3672 7 місяців тому +6

Actually for a male doctor to be telling a pregnant woman that she shouldn't be experiencing morning sickness, if she is, is not really helpful. And we don't know if animals have any special sensitivities when they're pregnant. Hormonal changes do add to an increased sensitivity during early pregnancy especially. It probably holds true with other mammals as well.
Actually the hypersensitivity that develops in the first trimester of pregnancy has a protective function. It helps to keep the expectant mother from eating poisonous things, which could include potentially spoiled meat, because the sense of smell gets heightened a great deal. To the degree that it can be overwhelming when around strong fragrances when pregnant. I remember that even the fragrance of the shampoo when I washed my hair when I was pregnant was overwhelming and unpleasant.
Women should listen to their bodies when they're pregnant. I craved beef like crazy and I was not a carnivore at the time. And I developed an aversion to chocolate which I later learned had a protective benefit to my son in his fetal development the fact that I was averse to chocolate. Chocolate harms male offspring's fetal development. I wish I could have been carnivore when I was pregnant but at least I ate a lot of beef. And zero chocolate.

When I was pregnant at age 22 I had one single bout of morning sickness, even with being in the Army and getting up at 6 am for PT.
I think my saving grace was my taste buds changed and processed foods tasted like chemicals. Luckily I lived in Germany where I could get better quality food and fresh baked bread and pastries (this was in the early 2000s when athletes still lived by the carbo-loading philosophy).

Do you know any hair specialist that knows sth about carnivore and hair growth? Is it possible to grow more hair and to reverse greying?

I can only speak for myself. I've been high-fat carnivore for quite a while. 7 months into it, my thinning hair became a thick mass again. Make of that what you will, but _something_ caused this 👍

@@_Solaris i heard this several times. Hair growth is possible, hair color not experienced. I believe that it has a nutrition requirement (like calcium, copper, etc) for this to work. I heard rumors that one old lady which i forgot the name of in the vegan camp got their hair color back with plenty of green juices (containing many minerals). I cannot tell if thats true, but i believe its possible.

I've been on the Carnivore diet for 5 weeks now, and I'm facing a serious issue-I'm losing too much weight. I've never had weight problems before; in fact, I've always been a skinny guy. However, since I fully committed to the Carnivore diet, I've been losing about 1 kg per week. I've gone from 85 kg down to 79 kg, and the weight loss continues, despite being 1.85 m tall. My diet mainly consists of meat, eggs, bacon, cheese, and homemade sausages. I typically eat two meals a day, although there are days when I only eat one meal because I simply don't feel hungry. I'm 47, turning 48 soon. Please Help!

You should attend one of Dr Chaffee's live streams so you can ask a question to him directly in the chat. I think he's going to have one on Thursday night I think 6:00 p.m. Pacific time in the US. I have heard him tell people that are losing weight, to try and eat more frequently and maybe not as much so that you'll be able to eat 3 times a day. Also I know he'll suggest that you make sure you're getting sufficient fat along with the lean meat. But you can address your questions to him directly in his live stream. See you there.

Remember, you are losing excess *_FAT,_* not just "weight".
So long as you are eating whenever you are hungry and eating until you're unmistakably stuffed, you won't lose lean muscle mass.
Is there a particular reason you are focusing on weight instead of body composition and strength?
In other words, does it matter to you how much you weigh so long as you are feeling healthy and strong?
If you are losing strength or muscle mass, then there is a problem.
In this case, eat more and exercise more (sprints and heavy weights).

Take time. One of the mistakes beginners make is not knowing that the very foundation of weight training is cartilage/connective tissue. Everything starts with this.
Start with lower weights/higher reps to strengthen cartilage/connective tissue. Over time, add more weight until you are maxing out. With this foundation, it is actually easier to build muscle later 👍

Technically, God intended humans to eat plants:
_"And the Lord God commanded the man, 'You are free to eat from any tree in the garden...'"_ *-- Genesis 2:16*
It was man's sinning against God that brought in the necessity of eating meat for health.
I believe eating meat to live was instituted to remind man of their sin and of God's requirement of
blood for sin and of His willingness to accept a sacrificial substitute.

Also, the wheat was extremely different wheat. It had less Less gluten and may have sprouted as it was placed in its bundle on the field.
