I have very sensitive skin and haven't been able to use a commercial deodorant or antiperspirant in many years. This MoM works better than any other concoction I've tried. :)
I've been using mom for a couple of years using my fingers. This Nivea Roll on idea is amazing. I found the glass bottle one at Walmart in my country Guatemala and works great. Thank you!!
I just received the three bottles of Nivea deodorant in glass bottles that I had ordered. I have cleaned one out, making milk of magnesia deodorant with Roman Chamomile. Gonna try it out as soon as I take a shower tonight. Am so excited over this. I won’t have to worry about white showing from my deodorant, because I am always fully covered. Thank you so much for this video!
Thank you. I randomly heard this from a person in the supermarket and I use it since a couple of months. I have problems with over sensitiveness to aluminium products (makes my armpits itch) and with strong odor. Since I use magnesium milk, I have no odor problems at all! I was wondering how to put it in a roll-on bottle and now I know! (Found a cheap plastic roll-on with removable top) Thanks! I welcome any other tips on "flavors", especially for men.
When I buy the MoM deodorant I only have to use about twice a Day, scented does NOT work for me. So I always bought un scented. I don’t understand why you would have to fill it over 2 Times. This only works for Odor NOT wetness!!!
That is interesting. I also use magnesium oil to prevent leg cramps at night while I sleep which works great! You are correct that we don't get enough magnesium in our diets. Thanks for the tip and for watching! :)
Thanks for watching! It's a great deodorant, the best homemade recipe I've tried so far. I listed a link to the glass bottles in my comment below. It's a 3 pack of Nivea antiperspirant from amazon.com I emptied the bottles and thoroughly washed the bottles and the roller balls. Let me know how you like it! :) Here is the link to the Nivea antiperspirant bottles: www.amazon.com/Nivea-Women-Deodorant-Roll-1-69/dp/B00PSI42VW/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1517527389&sr=8-2&keywords=nivea%2Bantiperspirant&th=1 It doesn't really matter what scent you buy since you will be emptying it anyway. Buy the least expensive set they have. :)
It works but it leaves a white residue on my skin :( is there any way to combat this? Mine has bleach so that might be it? But i doubt it, i just think the residue is more noticeable on dark skin.
After reading your comment, I did an experiment with this mixture. The Milk of Magnesia itself leaves a chalky white residue. I never noticed just how much because my underarms are so light compared to the rest of my skin, (and I don't often wear sleeveless shirts). I mixed a small batch and added a few drops of vitamin e oil to see if that would change the appearance. It did tone it down noticeably so it wasn't nearly as chalky looking. You could experiment with it a little bit until you get the right ratio that works for you. Maybe mix a tiny batch and try it to see what happens, then adjust the number of vitamin e drops until you get it to your liking. Hope this helps! :)
helpfulnatural Thanks for replying! I'll give your suggestion of adding oil to it a try, I don't have vitamin oil right now so I'll just try it with some argan oil I have. I'll let you know how it goes :) Also thank you for the tip about the bottles! You have no idea for how long I've been looking for some GOOD refillable roll on bottles! The ones I bought on Ebay are so bad, they leak everywhere! I'll definitely be buying these :)
I totally forgot about argan oil! I'll bet that would work too. :) At first, I bought some empty glass roll on bottles from amazon but the largest size only holds 1oz so they got used up quickly. They're great for travel though. The Nivea bottles are awesome but the deodorant that comes in them is very heavily fragranced. I had to wash them repeatedly to get rid of the strong odor. :/ (Unfortunately the Nivea doesn't come in an unscented version.)
helpfulnatural So i tried adding a bit of argan oil to the deodorant this morning but the results were not good, it still left a lot of residue, ill try adding more to it and see if it makes a difference (luckily just like you i dont tend to wear sleeveless clothes too often). Its such a shame that i experience this as MOM is the ONLY natural deodorant that works for me...i guess my mom is right when she says nothing is perfect :( haha but i wont give up! And yeah, ill make sure to wash the bottles really well, i really hate strong fragances!!
I decided to continue to experiment with this deodorant to see if I could figure out how to reduce the white cast on the skin. Instead of mixing oil into the deodorant, I decided to layer it instead. On the back of my right hand I applied jojoba oil and rubbed it in well, let it absorb for a few minutes, then applied the roll on deodorant and let it dry. On my left hand I applied sweet almond oil and did the same thing, rubbed it in and let it dry down a bit to absorb, and then applied the mom deodorant. I also applied a streak of the Milk of Magnesia straight from the bottle on each hand as well just to see if there would be any difference. The white cast was reduced dramatically compared to the first experiment where I mixed the oil into it. I also applied the deodorant to one forearm onto my dry skin, let it dry completely, then patted on a tiny bit of jojoba oil which also worked to lessen the white cast. Maybe try the oil both under and over the milk of magnesia to see which way works better for odor protection. I'm thinking that the mom would need to be directly on the skin to do its job better and use the oil to blot out the white. Jojoba oil matches the skin's own sebum texture and it was less oily feeling than the almond oil in my experiment. It also won't clog pores because of its skin matching properties. Sorry for the lengthy reply...hope some of this helps! :D Let me know how it works for you. :)

The best is the crystal deodorant
My husband used the crystal for several years. However it contains a large amount of aluminum so he stopped. Even though it's naturally occurring aluminum in the crystal salts, it is still a big load of the heavy metal. Thanks for watching.
helpfulnatural I have the one without the aluminum
Which brand of crystal deodorant is aluminum free??
Just 2 ingredients
Sodium chloride is not a bleach it is a salt.
Salts like what you put on your sidewalks to remove the ice.
The ingredient is not sodium chloride...it's sodium HYPOchlorite, AKA: Chlorine (bleach). 2 completely different things.
Can I use a cologne instead of an oil?
I've never tried using cologne/perfume in the formula. Since this video was uploaded, I've become very sensitive to fragrance products on my skin so can't comment on any reactions to having cologne applied to an area that perspires.
