Great video thanks! Just got one for Christmas and this gave me some ideas. Can you explain how the highlight button works? Does it just put a highlight at end of the video or do u press while. Filming? Sorry I don't have my go pro on me and can try myself.

+Timmy Hawks It works great especially when you have The karma grip attached to a long extension pole to get really high shots. You can still see what you’re filming and help frame your shot

I've noticed almost all of the 3rd party extension cables don't include the second clip like the original product does. Do you need two of these clips or will the extension cable work just plugged in.
how do you get that mount on? the gimble doesn't slide in all the way for me if I put the quick disconnect on first

Where did you get the karma mounting ring to mount the phone? Would that ring mount on a smooth q?
The velcro strap that comes with the Karma Grip is meant to be strapped around the handle of the grip around the extension pole for added stability. Also provides a comfort factor that it's a bit more secure. Try it.

Yeah subscribing cause of this vid for sure. I still love using my 7 with the Karma grip - it’s brilliant for snowboarding - and keeps the cam charged for longer too. External battery pack in my pocket and I’m laughing all the way!

I love my hero 7 black and I love the ability to use an small external microphone, but with every gimbal on the market, there's no way to plug in your microphone

You can you just have to get the right angling.

In camera stabilization will not function with the Hero 6 while on this grip.

I dont know I'd you tried it but I wish it was an actual feature. If you hold camera at either angle and hold tilt lock while filming it will pan up and down as well as left to right for above or below horizon shot's. I just wish you could lock it on son you didn't have to hold the button
awesome video. One question. In gopro6 the internal stabilization is also disabled when karma is attached BUT it;s locked and you cant enabled it. Is it so with 6? or something is wrong?
I have the same issue with my new Hero 6. It automatically disables internal stabilization when I connect the karma grip and I can't switch it on while the grip remains connected. It must be a new firmware change.
tubeman201 I figured one trick. lievwiev through a smartphone and change the settings from the smartphone. There you can enable the interval stabilization.

WeekendWarriors The rumors are talking about a water sealed version. Lets see if it is true. Anyway, the Karma Grip is definately recommended. I am very happy with mine. Jürgen

Karma grip is $99 now. I put it in the cart and when I pressed checkout button the total is $130. How come the taxes are 30% on their website ? Plus it doesn’t even say it is good for gopro 9.
I’m not sure about the taxes, however the karma grip will not work with the hero 8 or Hero 9. It is only compatible with the 5, 6 and 7

How about a tip video on how to use the buttons??? No one, including GoPro apparently is posting any instructions on how to use the buttons. Like everything else that GoPro has created, it is neither naturally intuitive nor are instructions provided.

Heck no a karma is like $1000 my parents limit is $400
The karma grip is only $299. The Karma Drone on the other hand is a little over $1000.

Do not buy one.....I am one of the many who own a Karma Grip brick. (Red light with top flashing white light). Support is totally useless.
