This is the English translation for Topping up Roof Hydraulic Fluid on Audi TT Mk1 Roadster. Excellent video.
    - Due to a lack of space, dismantling and assembling the hydraulic motor on an Audi TT is a costly and risky job
    - I received this tip from a recognized convertible top company, who after an expensive failed attempt by a Bosch garage could explain that it would otherwise be a repair of approx. 4 to 5 man hours
    - To free up space for the hydraulic reservoir, 2 torx bolts must be unscrewed from this part
    - These bolts are the best removed by a magnet due to lack of space
    - The part can now be turned away (motor Impeller)
    - Melt a round hole with a solder iron
    - DON'T DRILL because of the risk of drilling swarf in the hydraulic reservoir
    - Add approx. 120 ml of hydraulic oil with a syringe
    - Close the hole with a screw plug and screw everything back on
    - Because I had forgotten to remove the extention reel from the rear shelf, the cover did not go down completely. Fortunately I got lucky and this didn't break anything
-At a bosch garage a year earlier the rear window had broken with an unbelievable explanation. The complete hood had to be replaced. So pay attention!

I have the same audi TT, but my problem is that the hood doesn't go up once it goes down electrically. I have to close it by hand.
Should i try the same thing, or its another issue? Thanks for the answer

@@AR-tz3bc well it seems that my problem is differnet than this. Because it opens electrically but not closes(only by hand) , seems to be an electricall thing and not hydraulic. So i am to go this week to a guy that is specialised to Audi tt rooftopos and see what the problem is...

@@Octavia102HP let me know how this end up,us i took my pump out and i have my fluid to max level so in my case it could be electric problem 2, i change both relays and i can here clicking nose so i think im getting power to that pump , but no movement

@@AR-tz3bc 4 months later and still havent solved this...Myspecialist says its the comfort control plaquette but i aint bying it since all other electricals work just fine and half thw hood too ( still opens perfectly but wont close). I was gonna go for relay change , believing that this is the problem but i had another thought for one of Audis forums. Maybe its the Voltage alternator regulator that doesnt work properly and wont alternate voltage correctly when closing the rooftop. I also suspect that this is it , because my left and right indicators tend to mulfunction ( they speed up!!) when i have airconditioning on. IF YOU SOLVED THE PROBLEM FIRST, PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!
