Everything you’ve done with this trolling motor is exactly with mine when I get it. Extension handle and aftermarket foot switch. I’ve used one of those foot switches before and loved it. I want to mount mine on a small piece of plywood
Listening to you and seeing what you did with this reminds me of my dad. Smartest person i ever knew. Hillbilly to the bone. Excellent video brother. Well done
Actually, I like that idea. My foot controlled motorguide is giving me fits.. and I'm so over it with no desire to deal with another one. I already have a hand controlled bow mount somewhere around here. Thanks for the great idea. Where did you buy the foot switch?
@@AJWildhorse Thanks AJ! I am definitely going to try your idea now, since over the weekend while backing my boat out of a slip, a dock cleat caught the controller cable and ripped the head right off my motor. lol I didn't like the way it worked anyway. Tight lines.
@@billybl22 thanks I appreciate that. Yes mine was like that then finally locked up. I took mine fishing and now I know how much to cut off the shaft so it won’t stick out past the side of the boat.

Hello Billy. I think I ordered it from Amazon. Th marine brand. I took it out fishing after that and I like it.
