Just getting ready to put a Maxxum on a tracker, hopefully my new one won’t need adjusting. If so this was a big help, anyone that didn’t get anything from this video evidently aren’t handy, don’t listen or road the short bus! Thanks again.
@@HP-tr2cd yes, just take your time. First time I did it, it didn’t work out and I gave up. Few weeks later I did it again only thing different was I pulled the peace he talks about all the way up and it worked.
I’ve got an 06 Nitro with the original MotorGuide trolling motor. The directional arrow is way off. I received some guidance on how to adjust the arrow…and if that doesn’t work…the tech says he’s just put a piece of duct tape on the cap with the ore t orientation. Seems simple enough if disassemble either fails or ends up in the “too hard to do” pile. Your mileage may vary.
I would have like to have seen you actually make the adjustment. Showing me the inside of the head and telling me it’s super easy doesn’t give me what I need.
After the direction dial is rotated, pedal is level, the motor is facing forward, and covers are put back together...Do you then re-tighten the foot pedal screw back to the original desired tension?
I have a question my maxximum 80 # 24 volt my pro turns slow and when I change from 01-30 it still turns slow would that be the mother board please let me know
I just got my first bass boat on Saturday and it's my first boat and trolling motor. I understand how the trolling motor works however the pedal is tilted all the way forward and it's almost impossible to operate. I thought it was broken but it seems maybe I just need to adjust the pedal? Do these instructions work with the base model edge 45? Thanks!
Would you happen to know if I disable the motor (propeller) would the unit still be able to spin around? Want to use my old one as a livscope stand alone mount.
My fortrex when I take my foot off the pedal and the power is constant it will turn one way or the other so I can’t even retrieve bait or measure a fish without screwing up my spread of planers how can I tighten the tension up. New subscriber 😎
@@OneObjective yes sir. I was looking at your non actuated torqueedo mount the square looks bigger but I mean if all kayak brands use the same size for the power pole should be good then.
Nice job on the video! Really helped me out. I saw another one and they forgot to mention the part where you take the tension off the cables.

Will any of your mounts for the 1103 work on my kaku Zulu?
Do they have the four bolt pattern for the powerpole
