Love the video dude! I'm loving mine. Watch out on sand though, it will be very difficult to get the body off for a few runs on sand because of the pins getting sand in them. I had my dad help pull it off the first time, but after that I was able to get it myself. Just a warning, you might want to bring a friend or something to help pull the body off! 😅 It breaks in after a little bit though, mine comes off easy now after about 8 runs.
@@bfam8056 Yeah It's not really designed for bashing big vehicles but the original ramp surface held up really well and was not hard to replace once it died. It's not the cheapest thing in the world but they are very very well made.
Great vid man thanks for the content. They really designed this well. The little extras fo a long way like the chassis cut, bracing, mud flaps, sway bars, body enforcement, and of course center diff. @rccarsandmusic2641 definitely a possibility. I'm not sure if they'll go with a plastic case since the center differentials can get very hot. That's probably why it's aluminum here and why most modern center differentials are going to aluminum cases
Tires are 128x55mm. I couldn't really find anything in my collection that they're really close to. They're kind of like oversized 1/8 scale buggy tires. Just a little bit bigger than that.
I ran them on 6S with the outcast V2 and they held up pretty well. With the shorter length on the Mojave and the center differential I think they'll be fine.
JayteeRC did a video this morning on 6S and it seems to have handled it well so far! Arrma's plastic shafts are SUPER tough. Never had an issue even on my Senton

PS: i used the patented Do RC method for tire venting and it worked amazing.
After having it opened up and seeing it I would say it's probably 1 million. It felt very stiff but there's a lot more gear to gear contact inside this differential than with a normal bevel gear differential so fluid behaves differently with it.

Modern plastics are amazing. One of the main reasons plastics aren't used in some vehicles is because it's cheap to have a flat plate of aluminum milled. It's expensive to have injection molds created.
Even the cars we drive are plastic, metal on better for structural strength but plastics more forgiving don’t worry metal rcs will be 800 soon enough 😂
@RcPlayer-tt2vw Yeah I think a lot of people still have the idea that plastic is really inferior but plastic has come a long way in the last couple decades. Properly designed plastic parts are extremely durable lightweight and can be made into shapes that you just can't do with metal.

Wonder how these tyres would work on a 1/8th buggy
Probably pretty well. They're just a bit bigger than standard 1/8 scale buggy tires so they would make a nice oversized option.
