- Ordered new tires for the Jeep, almost the same as I’m running on the Land Rover.
The tires are out of stock currently, I’ll keep watching and post when they become available again.

Anytime I see a set at a responsible price I buy them. Ive done my last 3 Jeeps with 16” always happy with the result.

VOD800 I have a spare rim already painted. I’m not sure if I’ll use one of these directional tires or go with a “any position tire” instead.

VOD800 - Thanks for the concern! I’m on the far west of the upper Peninsula, my brother is south west. The flooding was pretty much between us. Hope all the affected are safe.
I've just acquired some vintage willys rims for my cj3a they are only 4.5 inch wide by 15. I was thinking these tire are to wide for a 4-1/2 inch rim I was thinking 7.00-15 tires might do better. My willy's is close to the same color, and trying to decide what color I wanted the rims to be. I thought Khaki had the best look with the darker green.
Contrasting rim colors are great. I just went the same for this Jeep because I had extra paint.
@@fastdadgarage-northsouthch4418 What size are your Kelsey Hayes rims as far as width and the width size of your tire. The narrowest tire I can find for my 4.5 inch rimes are 7.00-15 and recommended to have a 5.5 inch rims but I think they'll work fine, what do you think?
These tires are 225/75r16 the rims are 4.5-5 inch I can’t remember for sure. The beads locked on and I haven’t had any trouble.

Brett Dixon - It is stock currently. You could probably run the bigger tires. What suspension kit are you using and how do you like it?
@@fastdadgarage-northsouthch4418 I am using a 57 CJ5 frame for my 54 3B body, went for the longer springs options hoping for a little more stability. I used Rough Country for the kit.
What is the name of that color on the Jeep? I have a 56' Willys wagon colse to this color but the paint is beat.
fuxluck1 i don’t have a color name, check out video #12 in the series it explains a little. Basically it’s rustoleum emerald green, light green that was mixed wrong at store and black.
@@fastdadgarage-northsouthch4418 Thank you. I think my wagon was repainted Buick Terrace Green. I was a color available in the early 50's.

I put in another link, but it was for 15” rim. I couldn’t find my tires out of stock. The size was 225/75r16 on my jeep
