One thing we learned from our Dad was never take your time if you can “fast Dad” it. Watch as we work on all kinds of projects, the only catch is our garages are 600 miles apart.

2001-2006 GMC Denali- wheel Bearing replacement. Super Clean!

Had a chance to work on a very clean 20 year old Denali, needed a wheel bearing. So is a 20 year old vehicle from Florida easier to work on then a rusted out Michigan car? We’re going to see. Hope the video helps you keep your rig on the road. Thanks for watching

@@stechmer1 good question, when removing I had the head off so I just used a couple of the head bolts. Going back in I used the passenger side motor mount bolts and drivers side I don’t remember exactly I’m thinking it was one of the starter bolts

So far I have watched at least a dozen different videos about a PO300 misfire code on a later model Chevy Silverado and I saw a dozen different problems that have caused it. The 5.3 in my 05 Sierra is now in the metal bin and a 307 from a 1972 Chevelle, with a set of 202 heads and a camshaft from a mercruiser marine engine is sitting in its place hooked up to a 700R4 transmission. No more misfire code !!!
@@arthurgay5746 that’s awesome…
Nice R&R. Big project
You are awesome had it started the first 5 minutes of your video
Just a head up you can actually take the fender off without taking the bunper off as the headlight comes out with the fender just to save. Little time!
Good info, didn’t think of that.
The engine harness unplugs with 3 or 4 plugs on the frame to separate it from the body harness. I know it was your first time but you made this job a lot harder than it is. Once you learn what needs to come off and what can stay taking this engine out is literally a 90 minute job
Thanks for the input, I always find out I could save time after doing a job.
could you refer me to where these are?
@@walkerknicely9940 if your asking about the 3 plugs. I don’t know. Sorry, maybe @kennethbouch7796 could help

That's an "f" script for FORD. Off of a GPW WW2 Jeep
I’ll have to look closer,
a real poor designed head to remove when both cams need to be removed to get the fromt two head bolts out which also requires a $65 Mac T-55 to remove them. The bolts turn 90 degrees going snap-snap 4 times until POW the bolt comes loose. Every time I looked to see what I'd broken. Notice you didn't show that!
Yeah, that is all poor design. I should’ve showed the bolt removal it was “interesting”.

How can I possibly get down in this mine just for a couple hours to take a look without getting in trouble with the law. Do I need to contact someone? Do you just go on down? Is this through your work or something??
I work for the company that owns it. It’s currently not open to public, I’m hoping some day we can offer tours
This is fascinating. Our company uses one of the old axillary outskirt buildings at the mine. I've always been very curious about the big buildings and underground though. I have no idea how i stumbled on this but I'm glad i did.
Glad you did to, some much history around the site
How the hell did you get down that far? I've only been through the power plant and main refinery buildings.
