Great video! Looks super easy!!! Any preference on tire sizes? I’ve got ancient 7.00-16 NDT’s on my CJ2A. I think they look fine but wondering how 6.00-16’s or 6.50-16’s would look. I believe the rim width is 4.5.

I prefer 7.00 or 7.50’s. I like the look and offroad performance. But if you’re going to the bone stock look then 600 or 650 might fit your needs better. 👍

Seth, A very thorough explanation of how and why you do it a certain way. Do the Military NDT tires have good traction on the road when it's wet out too? You always hear stories they are unpredictable (handling) in wet weather. Thanks for another great video. Geoff.

Removing the valve core may speed up airing the tire. I always deflated after the 1st air up to release any folds in the tube. What about balancing?

It takes only a few seconds to air up and most air chucks won’t work without the core anyway so no… I don’t recommend removing the core. I don’t ever balance jeep tires

Yeah they were really bad. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were original. I couldn’t find a manufacturer date on them.
