1/4 or 1/2" rigid insulation. You can probably glue it right to the interior and paint over it. Should deaden the sound a bunch. Nice work, enjoyed the series!
I like it. You might get a roll of the Dynamat product. They have a sound deadener and a foam product that works well on the “oil canning” you get on the road. I have a M38 and will be making a top soon. 👍
Mark Randall dynamat was the first thing that popped into my head, just not enough time to get before the trip. Are you building a half or full top? Would love to see it!
goatguy1212 I really like the size, plenty of room behind seats for tool bag and “stuff”. It took about 8 hours or so to build. Since I had most of the material laying around it only cost about $75 for the stuff from Menards
Been following your videos and loved your simple explanations clear videos and voice command and the awesome progress Questions: 1 / any interest in selling it once ready .? 2/ I have a Cj3B 1954 and it needs fixing , Do you fix Jeeps for other Jeep lovers? Keep up good work Happy holidays Stay safe in this age of covid corona
Thanks for the nice comments, not planning to sell. I don’t have much time between family, work and my projects. Maybe in the future I’d work on someone’s stuff, but not now
I love a Jeep with a half top!
Yes I like the way they look. Thanks for watching
Hundreds of pop rivets! Love the stenciling, it added a really nice touch.

I haven’t done anything inside the cab yet, but that’s a good idea
This has to be your Top video yet!
Ben Chamberlain Nice pun master
A great project, and the stenciling adds some style, too.👍

It will be a soft top I think. Mostly for the Texas sun. A safari type with no sides.
Thanks for reply.
Keep up good work, will learn along
If change mind lemme know if selling plans
Happy holidays and stay safe
Cool project! I’ve thought about attempting this myself, the half cabs are the best 👌

Nice jeep
Thank you
Good job
It worked pretty good, rattles more then I’d like but worked great
the stencils are nice! Put some weather stripping between your frame and roof panel. Why did you leave a gap above the door windows?
The doors swing up the way the hinge is mounted and it would hit. I’m changing that and plan to seal it much better
