So, tell me, do you think you would like to do this project in your home? I am already looking for other walls if I'm perfectly honest lol... Brick might be the new shiplap for me!
Love it! Been wanting to brick a wall and was thinking of actually buying bricks to do so, but not now, can do it with joint compound! It looks really nice!! and not that expensive to do. More prep than actually putting it on.
Yes!! My walls (I've done two now) are holding beautifully and have added so much charm to their spaces. I did a half wall in my little girls' bedroom last year, too. Prep is definitely the biggest base for every project. The better prep the better the outcome!
I really love this rustic type look &I feel you've done an excellent job .Love the project &will be doing this myself this afternoon .Thanks for sharing .Looks amazing .
After you refinished the dresser, I was wondering what you would do next. I love it! I didn't see that coming. It will be interesting to see how you paint it up.
If you use a small pail( big and wide enough for your putty knife) and add a palm or 2 full of water and mix. It not only is easier to spread, goes further, and helps with bubbles.
your supposed to paint b4 taking off tape so im curious to watch the final step to see how you do it who knows maybe your way is better but the first step of this project turned out great i think
You have to take the tape off before the mud dries so you have to paint it after it's dried. If not, this paint is sticking to the wall because of the mud. It's very easy to paint it afterwards. You have to go brick by brick though but it looks great

Thanks for making this tutorial, I’m glad I found it. I want to use your method to do a Pink Floyd themed wall.
You're welcome! That sounds very cool!

Great tips! I don't think I had any issues with bubbles but I definitely wouldn't mind making it go further!
Oh wow. I love your project. It's gorgeous 😍....I don't have an entry way per se or foyer but I wanna find a way to do this!!!!
Yes! Find a place to do it lol I'm looking around for other walls that need this.
I'm getting so many good ideas for my tiny house. Thanks

Oh I definitely wouldn't paint it first. Curious what you think after you see it all done!
