This is interesting. We have only had one side of the story. How do we know if all that was happening to him was a fear of change from what and how the home setting has been? Men also have insecurity which fine if only they have healthy amount of communication. Maybe she could have validated his fear. For children, how can the impulsive decision of her moving go to impact the children and attachment just in case the children had a good relationship with him? I believe children don't see things the way an adult may do.
