Good info on the IFTA stickers Tyson. Not enough people know about that stuff. I try to keep my 550 at 26,000 so I don’t have to deal with it. I combo my 450 for 43,200 pounds and just run it in Pennsylvania to avoid the IFTA. So much paperwork when you were a one-man band. Great video👍🏻
You make it look so easy. There is a product called “ Max Mileage “ a fuel born catalyst. It works on fuel system and DPF systems. Pittsburgh Power has info. Hope this helps you.
Hey workplaytv a nother awesome videos on your channel alot every day u are awesome UA-camr u put out awesome content on your channel say safe and healthy with your family i hope this will get better soon so we can get back to normal life soon u my favorite UA-camr how is the family doing 😀
Having a skidsteer with a cutter on that job to go with that kx0-40 would definitely have cut down the time on that job big time! I’m seriously surprised you haven’t got one yet
Here in Cape Breton right where I am there is not much work other then my own 22 acres. My tractor with a bh 92 backhoe gets it done but a bit slower about the same as a 2 ton excavator.
Seeking advice... I'm looking into the Caterpillar Excavator 304 E2 with cab. If you wanted to stick with the 4-ton again and buy a new machine would you go with Caterpillar over the Kubota KX040-5? I'm looking to run a mulcher head on a 4-ton. Also what NEW mulcher would you buy if you had to run carbide teeth the whole time? (I'm going to be in a lot of rocky area)... I like the idea of being able to do fine mulching and keeping debris from flying too far away. Thanks
I have run Cat mini’s for 13 years and have had a303 , four 303.5s and currently own a 304E and 304E2. I don’t do forestry work but from an operator standpoint they are the most comfortable and roomiest cab. I would try the Kabota and the cat and pick which one fits you best.
@@workplaytv okay thanks for your insight I plan on test operating (Demo) each machine and deciding what feels most comfortable for myself and of course weighing the price difference.
@@chrisclark2017 I've seen 8k axle, deck under bumper pull trailers that weight 3500 pounds. My Chevy 2500 HD weighs 7400, and my trailer weighs 5,000. Skid steer weighs 10,000 plus attachments, fuel, tools, so I'm always going over the 22,000 gcvw or gross combined weight. But def under 26k
Thanks for the video. I have the KX0-40. I talked to my dealer earlier this summer and he said pretty much what you said he'd say that the 40 couldn't handle the FAE head, especially when the head was in a gully. Just what is the model FAE head would you recommend for my machine.
You must not have A/C on this Kubota? I never run with the door or windows open not only for the heat and noise but very important the dust getting into the electrical systems.
I’m impressed that mini is working really well for you
Hard working man and his equipment 💪🏼👍🏼

Hi Bud,
Nice work as always!!
Thanks for the video showing what the 40 can do
Love your videos could you give me some information on where I could purchase one of those heads
Thank you
How was the Beast this weekend ? Love Ford Super Duty truck

Exactly what I was thinking. My skid and bush hog can clear several acres of flat land a day.
That’s the issue none of my work is flat and mostly boulders
Skid steer wouldn’t help me much on the sites that I do. Ground in to uneven and full of boulders. No one really runs them here
@@workplaytv That makes total sense. About 30% of what I do is so rocky it needs an excavator.
i always wondered how those heads fair after hittin a couple rocks...seeing thats all we got round here is trees n rock.
Great video,
about how much is the mulcher attatchment ?
Will that do anything larger, like 8-12" diameter?
We still have a head for that 95 in stock for demo. Offer still on the table. Nice work
I have been in talks I believe I am going to get it.
This is fern tree right?

Just wondering how many km of ate trails can you clean up in one day? So the trail is there already and need to mulch branches that are overhanging.
What do you think about the 55 and 57? Do you think it would be better?
Do you think it would be worth the extra money?
would a kx 040 do the job as well as a kx057 I'm undecided between the 2
Did the power company hire you guys? I know that the power companies like to take care of their lines
Have a BL1 for my Hyundai 55-9a. Trying to get the flow volume up on the machine to power the head properly.... any ideas (talking to dealer....)
Have you tried a window mount for camera? View is more down.
Where was this work done ? Looks like my back yard .

There is a fella down here that has a U55 Kubota that working well Idig4.

I would get the FAE BL1-ex-vt that’s the one I wanted but was available yet. So this is the dml/hy-vt

@@workplaytv thank you for the response how about the first part of my question Stick with Kubota KXO40-5 or try out cat 304?
@@MIGHTYX2010 that’s a tough one. A lot of people say that Kubota makes the best minis of anyone. I’m sure there is a decent price difference as well.
@@workplaytv okay thanks for your insight I plan on test operating (Demo) each machine and deciding what feels most comfortable for myself and of course weighing the price difference.
Wondering if there is a setup to move a kx 057 without going over 26,000 lbs. seems to be right in the edge.
Nah you would never be able to do it I don’t think.
Kx 57 12,200, crew cab diesel 7,000, trailer 5,000 =24,200…. Am I missing something?

Great videos. What would be your thoughts of putting that head on a Sany SY 50U.
Would handle quite well. The 60 would be even better
@@workplaytv I’m trying to stay under CDL the 60 would be hard to get it under. Thank you for the answer. Are you still liking your Sany
can you do a video on how you got into this and got your first job?
Nope that won’t be going anywhere
@@workplaytv ? is it a secret?
How long does it take to spoil back up?
Quite quickly
That road needs a crown so the water drains to the sides and not down the road.
Yep
A skidsteer with a mulcher is 10x the kand clearing machine
Yeah I have one. Big limited to what you can do
You must not have A/C on this Kubota? I never run with the door or windows open not only for the heat and noise but very important the dust getting into the electrical systems.
Yea I do. I like running with the door open. I clean the machine every 2 weeks
Wher is the kx 80
