Want to share a quick lesson I recently learned… the quick couplers on these machines are cast and they will break. I broke mine while grabbing a log just the other day. The worse part is local dealer said they are on back order for months. I found one of two on the west coast and had to pay for freight. $1700 mistake, be careful when grabbing logs.
Yes, I have heard of a lot of problems with the cast couplers. So far, so good with mine, I have over 1700 hours on it, and it hasn't broken yet. It does seem to be wearing faster than my older Werk Brau fabricated ones did. I will never get another cast one. Werk Brau does make them. You might check and see availability. And cost.
@dmtadventures7044 Well, that's not encouraging. Figured the Werk Brau was still fabricated like the older ones. I wonder if anyone still makes a fabricated one.

The Werk Brau is what I got… it’s cast as well and no cheaper.

Now that's some cool dirt farming. Seems like some decent fill too. That new mic's working out good too. Out of body filming.

Well I think age does play into it because years back, I could put them up by hand, those days are long gone. 😄

Interesting video....but looks like allot of work to fill a hole....LOL. Ahhhhh get an 80 excavator....you only live once!!!!
I would love an 80 just don't want the payment 😉
