I feel like every time they cut to Joe in the first two episodes he is recovering from laughing at Conner. They also stop doing the shot of Conner with Joe's face in the foreground because you can see him laugh constantly.

O'Malley's Max character is one of my favourite talent agent characters of all time. I've watched this a dozen times and he's funny every single watch. bit of a heidecker flair as well which gives it a bit extra goofiness
