I thought he was funny in the rhubarb episode, where he was obviously supposed to be annoying and out of place, but as a permanent character, no.

It was Joe's ideal to put him in for another episode. The idea is that Joe gets hurt because he's not as social and outgoing. I think it's funny.
I get what they're doing by adding Jeff, I think the intention is somewhat good, the parallel between them just makes you love Joe even more, but Jeff really should of just been a one episode guy

N/A people find him awkward because he tries to be awkward. I’m very awkward myself and Joe is definitely very awkward with the common folks he interviews in this show

I just liked it better when it was me and Joe and I was forced to imagine any external relationship he may have possibly had. As soon as he has to actually deal with a real person his personality gets thrust into the light of obvious comedy. Joe's tranquil and ethereal thoughts bring me to a place of peace and make me laugh in a unique way. Why the need for dumb stimulation?
