I was going to return the battery at a different Home Depot but they should honor their refunds so I tested it right then and there. For a while I thought hacking was getting away with something but it’s not, it’s just another way that Home Depot moves more inventory. Don’t be afraid to try it... it’s legit. They just don't expect people to return those extra items which is why you buy the things in the first place. As you said, they are simple deals not a hack. That's just dumb.

Yes, that is the "hack". I have a tip for you since you seem like a nice guy. The easy mode is to order online and just quickly cancel what you don't want after. I normally do in store pick up for the items I want and the other items I choose a different store or ship to me. Either don't pick up or just don't waste their time and call and cancel the in store. Then promptly cancel the online literally immediately after. It's not a hack but they do have actual price mistakes like recently when they did the Hammer Fuel Drill 150$, Fuel Packout Vac 199$ and the 8.0 170$ for 300 that was a screw up and they usually pull those deals out quick. They don't really care just don't go doing 3000 dollar orders and get too crazy.

Most of the time that Lowe's 10% off does not work on BOGO's. In fact the BOGO can cancel out the 10% off of your whole order if there are other non-BOGO items. It is how the programing of their register is done. Some people have gotten it to work for them. But it is extremely rare.
@@patrickkelley544 you are right to a certain extent if it happens where it cancels the BOGO you can take your coupon back and do your purchase if you want I did use a 10% Lowe’s today on the buy more save more and got 3 tools for $315 gen 3 stubby angle die grinder and 1/2 in stubby impact not a bad score for me 😎

That’s really strange. It says what the refund value is right on the receipt and you have so many days to return one or all the items listed in the receipt. They aren’t honoring their own policy? Not good.
Print the receipt and take the return to the store. Or, you can cancel and item online before they ship the item and you get the hack deal online. Does that help?

I tried this and it won't let me cancel individual items on my order. Its either cancel the entire order or nothing.

This hack does not work! You have to return both items. They will not let you keep the free tool or battery .
How do you return it if you bought it online?
Print the receipt and take the return to the store. Or, you can cancel and item online before they ship the item and you get the hack deal online. Does that help?
