Pull the steering wheel really hard to left and hold. Try to turn the key. Does key turn? Try to the right. Worked for me. I know tumblers can fall and ruin the lock, but ive had this happen to me several times, in different vehicles and it always worked. The keylock apparatus was just pinched by the pressure of the steering wheel.

Sir can you help me out some one try to drill The ignition switch out of 1997 ford crown Victoria the pin is gone to push it they might went to far with the drill bit i don't know i can't turn the switch. I don't have a key they lost it ten years ago it was given to me
It’s hard to imagine without looking at it but if the went to far I’m guessing the only way is to get another steering column. But just keep trying try to get the most out of it and hopefully you can get it out

What size drill bit did you use?
3/8 is what you want
@@David.Morgan781 too late! I used a 5/8 to make sure it gave way 😂 the 3/8 I used didn't bite through all the way and I had to step it up a few times to 5/8 at the end
