great video this was really helpful couldn’t figure out how to break the steering wheel lock though, just made my steering wheel sit out of position, bout 5 minutes after i got it started when trying to get the lock undone the wire ended up finding the keys, however you should make a video how how to break the lock in the future in case i lose em again 😂😂
I’ll try to find something to do it on. Hopefully I don’t lose anymore keys 🤦♂️ haha. The best way is two hands kinda hugging your arms/forearms left at 1 0r 2. O clock and right at 4 or 5 and rip.
I been stuck on a remote beach in Puerto Rico for tge past 3 days, my keys didn't wanted to go into the switch, i bang them in but they won't turn. Tried solenoid starting it but the switch is in OFF possition + the wheel is locked. Trying to find a solution online before giving up and calling a tow truck. Cool video hope i can do this in my van.
Yeah I had to break steering lock. I imagine you jiggled and wiggled you’re wheel. Your gonna have to drill out your ignition anyway if you’re key doesn’t turn.
Thanks for the video man, super helpful, left my only key in the wife's truck and was determined not to have to take a cab to work lol I also managed to unlock the steering wheel with an old chevy key, took 5mins of jiggling it but it worked without having to break anything
What did you do?? I have mine started by using this switch from the video lol I lost my key but I can't put my shit in drive either there has to be a way to get my truck to new house I only have 4 days left

Just pull the cable that goes to the column u pull the cable and can put it in drive neutral and reverse push it in to get the son bitch back in drive. We do it at work to sell the trucks as run and drives

Got stranded in my 2004 e250 ford van the key tumbler just cept spinning, we called this mobile mechanic thats what he did to start it

Can you put on acc with switch and use the wire by your fan motor. I did a 6.4 starter video that shows the wire you touch to your battery
