Tips and Tricks on How to Lane Efficiently - Dota 2 Fundamentals (Episode 4) - 袉谐褉懈
For the new players, I'm just gonna point out, that these things are not a necessity to pull off in order to play the game. Many lower ranked players do not have the slightest idea about these things. BUT if you wanna learn the game the "right" way in order to play against higher ranked players, these things are definitely essentials. Another thing is being able to do this against lower ranked players is gonna allow you to stomp newbs! which is always fun :D
Being a newbie myself, this helps me a LOT. Thanks a ton, BSJ! Keep up the high quality content :D
BSJ improving the community, one video at a time
Nice job narrowing down all this knowledge, BSJ, I remember the old times watching several 2h coaching sessions of you basically talking about creep aggro and lane equilibrium until I finally got it and I'm thankful for those but now anyone can learn it in a 14min video that include instructions on how to practice it! An educational content masterpiece
Thanks BSJ for reminding everyone how noob we are and how much we have to learn 馃槃
Literally 2200 hours of dota and I don't think I can do this first try
Instead of a random filler comment for the algorithm I just wanted to say thank you.
I could learn a lot from your videos, stuff that I normally felt like 'well, wtf do I do know' or 'what is the correct play here'
This goes over all your videos. Good job man!
I've played around 3k hours of dota on and off since about 2013. Not a lot comparatively to some but enough in my eyes. Fundamentals are often something I forget when playing and its crazy how big a difference it makes being aware of this stuff
Knowing this would have helped me and my friends so much more when we started playing a couple of years ago. Keep it up馃榿
Damn this videos are smooth. I don't know how much you scripted them if at all but the way one piece of information transition to the next one is simply perfect
Damn, I've been playing dota for 8 years now. I've been a support player trying to get out of archon that believes I have what it takes to play in at least ancient maybe divine even (since I partied with some divine friends before). I reached ancient once but due to an unfortunate amount of throwers in my games, I realized my playstyle relied to much on teammates doing the right thing (surprise they don't 100% of the time even on higher ranks). Decided to try out safelane but kept losing and got flamed so I figured it wasn't just for me...
Until I found this series... Initially was skimming through these videos but man are some of these fundamentals new to me. Just because I had to babysit a lot of these cores doesn't mean I know how it is in their shoes. Thanks BSJ you're such an unsung hero for this game considering the amount of theories one can only get from actually playing out the game.
Waiting for the next video, I'm loving this format.
Superb series BSJ!
This is fantastic the small things are important. You鈥檙e teaching great things man this type of series is so good man. Keep up the good work your (LIT) dude. (Polyphia) you might like. P.s. mini game is such a good way to say it. I hope I get out of Fing herald.
it's hard to explain the lane equilibrium to new players. but you put it so nicely. like one of those r/explainlikeimfive but it's actually thirtyfive..
Hi BSJ finally the best DOTA Guide ever existed very good work. do we need to use the Attack bottom for all attacks during mid to late or can we still use right clicks for attacks?
Great content man
thanks so much just watching your series so far has made Dota as least complicated (Coming from a league plater lol ) it's a fun game
Dude i have 3300 hours in Dota and still this is really useful !
Same, I didn't realize how much of an impact just that first hit on your allied creep can make.
Screw the new player experience. Valve should hire BSJ and make him Headmaster.
Thanks BSJ. This must be very frustrating to make, but it's really help full. It's harder to consistently pull off than you would think.
its never frustrating to pump out easy content that will pull alot of views. Most youtubers love low hanging fruit like these.
something i very much didn't do, was develop these good habits when i was introduced to dota, and it's hard to overstate how important they are
Nice content, regards from Per煤
been playing Dota for good 3 years now I never knew this tnx BSJ.
I'm fascinated how it tooks 3 minutes to fix a fuck up on the second wave :O Thanks for the video.
definitely. however having the support pulling creeps is a huge shortcut
These are great!
Playing pos 4/5 the whole time I played back in 2013/2014, the only thing I ever knew about maintaining lane equilibrium was pulling when it got massively messed up. Now that I come back to play again, I wish I had someone to explain this to me back then. Would have saved a lot of my carries and I some grief 馃槀
Thanks for your work
love you bsj
This intro makes people think I'm watching something else entirely
That intro always make me think i am watching Baby Driver all over again馃槀
its ok to set those 70's porn vibes to get those juices flowing
I just watched the intro 5 times and I fell happy now
4.5k player here and this is what my cores at times and supps need to see...perfect explanation.
I wish i had seen this video 6 years ago.
Extremely good tutorial
I feel like supports have completely forgotten what the point of pulling the lane to creeps is for, they just think "I'm support, I pull". A few years ago it wasn't as bad but now 99% of my supports just pull to the small camp and end up double waving me multiple times a game, also leaving me solo unable to farm while they do it. Doesn't matter how much I control the lane when this is happening all the time.
Great content though! Just needed to vent that haha
was able to do it first try down 1 cs. im brand new but im from league. now time to learn this while vs champs xD oh man this game hard af
Thank you BSJ
these are great. i mean i already had 200 hours but it took me a while to do this one.
Kind of surprised with how often BSJ shows things with the screen paused, he hasn鈥檛 turned off tips.
Now I got the answer of how Dota 2 is quite dominant than any other moba games :)) TYSM BSJ for a superb tutorial!
BSJ always shares quality contents that are otherwise paid contacts on others channels
Just from watching your videos I have gained 800 mmr. I鈥檓 almost archon thanks to the videos
I suggest you do video for 'coaching' random person in dota..every bracket and every role
7:26
NOICE
You're my GURU
We need more fundamental video from BSj
algorihm boost well deserved
I started on dota 1 and played nearly 6k hours on dota 2... I'm relearning EVERYTHING right now... thx BSJ but ffs this hurts my ego so much^^
OK people learned how to last hit but now they need to know who is taking the last hit its about time to learn roles :) nice channel keep it up
mr bsj. dont forget to make tip and trick to cs under tower, i guess that will help a lot for the newer players in dota 2
Very cool
Damn as a player trying Dota again after 2 years of not playing, this is amazing.
Wish someone explained this to me back in the day, so many bad habits to fix.
You're crushing dota community BSJ !!!! What can pro players do about it ?! We know all the secrets now !!! BOOOOOYAAAAA
Random comment for the algorithm, the DOTA anime is trending and is No.9 currently in India.
Cool but do indians watch that much anime?maybe more indians will play dota and make it popular
It's actually fucking awesome lol. I am a long time anime fan and even longer time Dota player and my expectations were set really low. I was almost convinced it's going to be a straight up garbage. But to my surprise, they did a very decent job. I like the unique animation, voice acting is on point. I've only seen 3 episodes so far, but it's lit.
I am from India 馃嚠馃嚦 too馃槉
Top 1 in PH
6k is here, only for support my coachslamma. Love ya bro
Ayeeeee!!
I BELIEVE IN BSJ SUPREMACY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
pushin in and out from me, GACHIGASM
thanks
zoomed in BSJ is my favorite BSJ
Just want to say thank you. I always f- up my early phase causing bad scaling for my team. This is just exactly what I need to see. Thank you and keep going!馃敟
Please make a guide on how to play TB. With the anime release, there couldn't be a more perfect time.
Youre a treasure Brian
Valve should really hire BSJ. I'm serious. Sometimes he talks dota crap (like how to carry with a support, and make maelstrom on CM) but compared to the other current Valve's broadcasters and commentators BSJ is miles ahead.
new hero guide please??
Nice
Boom!
I'm still looking for the "red laser beam" XD
Can you use jungle camps to repair the wave? If your creeps focus on jungle creeps they wont push right?
what do you do if your support keeps drawing agro from the enemy creeps?
Is it for new dota player from Netflix
When you try to keep lane equilibrium and your teammate keep attacking like a madman
i am at 3k mmr and trying to rewire my brain to the attack stop instead of the right click as well as the quickcast which i was not using before. My teammates seem very confused by my spell casting. #roadtoherald
So when im playing against real opponents i have to make sure I mirror his basic attacks right?
When do you start shoving the wave and farm the big camp?
When you can farm it efficiently without losing so much HP that you endanger yourself when you return to lane, and without losing lane creeps.
In recent videos, BSJ has been saying that the first 5 mins is getting as many lane creeps as possible and getting ahead, next 5 mins is about pushing the creeps into the enemy tower and farming the jungle if you're winning and farming the small camp and defending your tower if you're losing.
@@ForgivenSin01 i probably need more practice with it, determining when to shove the wave and pressure the opponent is hard sometimes... I guess i gotta have a feel for it until it becomes natural
How do you get the shop to the right side of the screen
Teaching new players to only hit creeps is good and bad, you may want to put emphasis on roles early, since all my pos 2 and 3 want to hit creeps all game already
I'll be honest, new players make TERRIBLE decisions in terms of taking fights and pushing lanes etc, so JUST hitting creeps might be your POS1/2s best chance at winning.
i have 4k hours looking to ged better i just play turbo and shit all the time, can always learn and improve
BSJ, do we tell our support not to hit creeps to deny, so we can balance the lane solo?
If both of us are hitting and denying creeps, it can push out too much easily.
anytips on actually laning with opponent's attacks and harrass
Comment for the algorithm.
Never thought Ashton Kutcher is a really skilled dota player and a teacher/coach
I'm legend previous rank now crusader because i stop playing dota 2years now I'm back playing and this is the first time i know how to laning equilibrium i have no idea lmao5
JuicyBoostyBanana
Algo
Okay, now add a CM to nuke the wave.
The streamer you watch when gorgc and mason are offline was a big oof
One day all the heralds will be better than the legend players but still stay herald cuz every herald has the same skill level cuz they watched BSJ videos.
Im 2k and learned a fuckton
Have a wii sports competition with speed and Jenkins winner gets $5
gorgc and mason were offline so i came here
hello yt
CFA comment for algorithm 馃嚠馃嚦馃憤
dotaaaa
So imagine a safe lane with a support with quelling blade unstoppable denying the creeps... Crazy right?
No. Creeps will be under ur tower asap and the line will be pushed by it mediately
@@izexi the idea is to guarantee your opponent to be half xp and no gold
I don鈥檛 think quelling blade鈥檚 extra damage works on allied creeps
@@whotao3664 I think you're probably right, my bad
And you are teaching the same way you teach high level players.
Say lane equilibrium 5 times in a row real fast
i'm learning a lot and i'm 3k lol 馃槀
This doesn't work at all. When you're radiant, the offlaner creep aggros your creeps into his range creep and all his creeps get our ranged creep who is naturally in the tower range, fucking up the lane at the first wave. It's easier and can work on dire
.
Please stop normalizing account buying and smurfing, i get it if you in the top .5% but for the rest of us its toxic.
