this feels like a new age of dota, the community working hard to help new players, i can finally make my friends play this game, i was always hesitant to introduce them to it because i will spend ages helping them but now they have some actual recourse to get into the game.

In the games, where I have reasonable players on my team (still in the 1K range), I just voice the same tips you shared we usually win... May the the blessings of the Banana god be upon you!

Or if the creep already in low health, how to determine to last hit it before it get killed by tower specially.

I have like 500h in dota (so completely fresh), only like 169 unranked all pick games since picking it up in 2018. (other hours are bot games and watching high ranks play)
Recently really got keen to play it again with the goal of one day playing ranked. I've never played ranked dota... heck, ranked anything. Usually get anxiety over not being able to perform and coming back to Dota can be a daunting task after a break.
Just wanted to say thank you for this series and in general all the content you put out. I'm only on day 2 of returning but bots on unfair are now getting smashed so I reckon it's time to pick up unranked all pick tomorrow. This video in particular has been insanely helpful for me! I mostly play supports to be honest, so my last hitting isn't something that I worked alot on, but I realised I was bad at it. This video and the video around creep equilibrium made it finally click for me. Just wanted to say a big thanks!
Hope to play ranked soon enough. :)

If you guys struggle to enable the console like I have:
    - Quit Dota 2
    - Go to Steam Library; Right click on Dota 2
    - Select Properties... from the dropdown
    - Type "-console" under Launch options
    - Start Dota 2
Now the console should open in menus and in game by using the hotkey for it.
    Default is "/"

Shit dude I've been playing 2 years and never knew what smart attack move did, I didnt use it because I sometimes want to attack move illusions or something a long distance and want them to attack things along the way, not just the enemy at the destination.. i didn't realise it does BOTH! my mind has been blown and it will take a while to undo 2 years of playtime to now condition my brain to attack with left hand instead of right clicking.. (I think the tooltip doesn't really describe what it does accurately, you really have to try every option to see what it does)

How exactly do you last hit as a melee carry against a trilaning offlane? In my bracket, it's rare to get rotations from other players so I end up staying at exp range but not being able to get last hits. For example, if the enemy offlane is a combination of Sniper, WD, and Veno and I'm a lowly AM.

So, is there any good reason for me after taking enemy's safelane tower to go to my safelane other than if enemies are diving there or I need to defend my tower. My safelane insists playing around our safe lane. We won the early game I took enemy's safelane tower and I wanted to keep pressuring that lane forcing reaction especially tp if possible and then I can tp and take enemy's mid tower or at least tp smoke gank. My safelane wanted to fight and blame me when we lost.

    • @canesvenatici9588
      @canesvenatici9588 3 роки тому

@@Redotwo42 It is probably not as good as meta supports BUT, knowing what to do with that hero to fill the role needed for the team to win is way more important. Kunkka can unlimited stack if I'm not mistaken and it can be useful. I don't play kunkka support but if someone plays it I don't mind as long as they have already done it and knows what he's doing which means he already has a good plan when playing it. Just look at when dubu plays gyro support with bsj.
