reality: You leave your carry on the lane to help elsewhere, your carry immediately dies
typical sea moments and then says "end" if they die lol
AHAHAHAH that's so true, that makes me cry😂
Make pull before leave your carry and he'll be fine under tower 🤓
so true, especially these dumb europe servers, cuz i main pos4-5 i set them up good then go to gank other lanes and tell them, they dive solo and still die like tf??
@@unknownsource1485 You still make SEA server jokes? When it is proven this things happen all around other servers ..
Perfect, now I can finally have a chance of winning when I get pos5 when I queue all roles.
KEKW
Clear, concise and not overwhelming
As someone who recently switched to support main, these are the things I'm trying to work and improve on
Another tip that doesn't necessarily fit the "laning phase" but will get you a lot of mmr:
STOP straight tp'ing after respawning. SAVE your TPs! You may not be fully aware how important this is, but seriously, it makes the game easier for you and your teammates.
THINK for a moment. CHECK MAP: is any other lane at risk in the let's say 0 to 30 secs due to potential rotations? (specially when enemy cores reach lvl 6, dangerous runes, etc.)
- IF yes, WALK back to YOUR lane.
- IF you see HIGH risk at say offlane and you somehow figured out say mid lane is coming to gank, TP there already!
- IF you are not sure what lane is at high risk AND you know you tp'ing back to your lane makes no difference, just WALK anywhere you see fit better, at least you have your TP ready.
Basically, try to save your TP as much as you can. You may only insta tp back to your lane on very very early game.
@@luishurtado2170the half pull is really where i'm struggling at. I always end up pulling the entire wave
another thing to note, the type of carry is also important, if your carry is a natural pusher such as naga or you pick a support warlock, i personally don’t recommend blocking their camp since your gonna need it yourself because thhe waves are always constantly gonna be pushed in
why would u want to push the lanes at the first place as warlock and naga? if u clear the waves so fast, enemy will have free waves. the idea is to reduce the offlane impact while ur farming
@@kiploism normally no one would want to push the lanes, but naga or walrock or jakiro will inevitably push the waves due to their abilities (maybe jakiro not if they use their skills without affecting the wave) but for naga its really inevitable, if she wants to harass enemies she will have to send illusions at them and hit the wave constantly to keep proc riptides, but regardless of that she is a hero that can clear jungle and a wave at the same time at minute 4 if she has a decent or a winning matchup. if her matchup is good you now harrasing the enemy and getting all the wave and also farming a jungle at the same time so yes you may be pushing the wave but also farming jungle at the same time while they are being harassed and only getting lane creeps
sry for long reply but i had to explain all the details
@@3arooshy465 the offlane still gonna fat if u give free waves
@@kiploism and the solution to that is my main comment itself, don’t block the big camp because your gonna use it to kill your own wave or at least deny two of your creeps, the lane will restart to being close to ur tower and gonna harass and farm the wave witht procing riptides and rinse and repeat, im not a pro or immortal player but im sying all this because i am an advanced naga player myself
Came here as a warlock spammer, don't block the hard camp. Maybe at first but if it expires or they deward it it's fine. Let them pull and then fatal bonds the enemy to all the creeps and then upheaval. Watch offlane explode. Sure, your carry might have missed a wave but now the offlaner is dead or low HP and can't even touch a creep.
For Me as a support player on low mmr your video helped me to think more about supporting and how to do it right thank you for your commenting and telling about what moves they do and for what !
Genuinely one of the most useful guides I've seen. Please do more like this for the other positions!
will do!
@@KheZu Hell yeah, can’t wait!
The content is getting better and better, keep it up man!
"there is no excuse". Meanwhile me ench level 3 with a big creep: i missed the part where that is my problem
@abdurrahim618 sometimes too far to walk there
If it's not your problem don't worry about it.. avoid the player gl next... That's just how it is...
That’s why ench is favored by pro player, you can destroy early game with limited support item, you have free heal and every time the enemy try to pull, you just enchant the creep and farm them without spending 50 gold to prevent that
Quality Content! The video is short but includes all the important tips. That's what I was looking for. 👌
Easiest subscribe of my life. Looking forward to more of your content, KheZu!
Thank you!
Hope to see you at dreamleague@@KheZu
This video was so frickin useful. How I've not known the proper lane position is beyond me. Thank you Khezu!
I loved this video. It's just pure Khezu: friendly, straight to the point, ready to follow... Thanks khezu
Man, your guides are on another top-tier level. Keep it up, my dude!
Thank you!
This is the best channel to have concise and easily applicable dota knowledge imo, thanks khezu.
Great content! I'm happy to have found this and now subscribed!
saw this video... tried to do every thing as mentioned... our team lost in 25 mins.
on how many games tho? just 1?^^
This was so good. You a goat, KheZu :D
It finally happened the pros have discovered the patented siractionslacks half pull
🥸 slacks god
What are saying, he's a toxic annoying woman-like nerd too? :(
Your critical analysis and ability to highlight the takeaways is godlike. Thank you for this clean-and-pristine quality content
appreciate your comment
damn, that was quick and very informative, we need more like this, thank you!
Thank you Man! This Video with other Pos 5 videos help me out a lot
Thank you so much this is great! Staying active as pos 5 and helping other lanes is what I love about the new size of the map and the objectives.
Would be great to know when to pull and how to do half pull. I tend to not pull so much as I prioritize harassing the enemy instead
This type of content really helps! Thanks
Love these! Would love one on playing the lane as a meele support, especially vs ranged heroes! I've always struggled laning/positioning in sitations like that
Will make sure to add that to the list
Generally this one is either about 1) soaking pressure with heroes like undying or 2) if you play tusk, you want to use fog a lot and try to apply pressure with tag team or lvlup timings to get kills
I learned a lot more in this 6-min video than all those games I was on. Lol. Good stuff!
The best educational content out there rn, thanks bro
Wow. Never understood what should I do as pos five. the way you just explained it is pure value.
Really helpful tips. Some are pure basics but we forget these little things that make all the difference.
Thank you! Been struggling to gain MMR here in Guardian rank 😅 this is a big help!
Hopefully i can stepped up my game with the tips. Very useful and informative. Thanks man
Bro amazing content! Thank you!
Thank you for watching!
great content as always khezu!
1) Buy stats and regen to win trades and enable your carry
2) Always block their big camp and unblock your small camp
3) Trade with pos 4 if you are stronger. If not - harass their pos 3
4) Half pull 2-3 creeps on small camp if lane is pushed
5) 2:40 Prepare to get lotus
6) 5:00 Look for places where you can rotate and help your teammates
7) 5:40 Prepare to help get the power rune
8) 6:30 Prepare to go for enemy wisdom rune if you have a stun
Nice!! So easy to do and so to the point. Thanks for the tips - it's worth its weight in gold! I would love to see a short guide like this for every role :)
Will look to do that asap!
good job i searched a lot for play early lane@@KheZu . Maybe a single pull to push wave naturally min2. ward at 5-6 min top left of bountry rune to see roaming enemies woud complete this a bit more. Maybe when carry goes woods single pull to farm under tower for safety cause it will push wave but who cares you just want the gold xp safe under tower. When leave core eg axe with vanguard so you need leave him maybe. mm if catapults are in other lane you go push . Maybe just leaving commend here if anyone sees. I dont know what is missing im trying to figure it out.
Amazing content KheZu, we all really appreciate it! Could you make a video explaining how to play the midgame as a support? I'm good at following your tips in the laning phase and I win most of my lanes, but I feel completely lost in the midgame. I feel like I always make the wrong decision. For example - If I smoke with my mid/offlaner, we get wiped more often than not.
I already have a little bit of a followup ready for the future.
Before uploading , since it will take a long time, ill try to give you quick advice
Generally you can 2 modes in Dota which keep fluctuating back and forth
Agressive and defensive
You are skywrath/snapfire/grim, most of the time u wanna play agro and help get kills with your mid or offlaner if they are ready. inbetween cooldowns you can play defensive and protect your cores or place wards
If you are a hero like SD/venge/warlock and there are no agro plays currently, look to enable your cores by helping them farm (break smokes, stack) untill theres a timing and go back to mode 1 (agro)
That was awesome, getting back at dota, contents like this helps a lot
Ty! Keep these coming!
Bro this clip was awesome ty .please bring more of these ❤❤
Actually I was looking for a guide like to this from a pro player, good content 😮
haven't even watched yet and GOD BLESS YOU KHEZU!!
REALLY helpful! thanks! would love to know more about mid game pos 4 n 5
Great, precise and helpful, thanks alot sir
very helpful haha these are what i had a vague idea that i should do but not a clear idea.
Great guide Khezu, as always!
This is the best 5 pos tutorial, that I’ve ever seen!
Thnak you so fkng much!!!! these are the tips & guide we newbies need to improve in the game!!!
Thanks for the video -- it was super fun to watch
more support episodes likes this would be awesome, thank you
will do!
thx for the info imma use it for next stream
Clear and concise lesson 👌
I would love more of this kinda of content
You could also touch the topics of how better to use your resources on lane, on how to trade with pos 4 and when. How not to waste your spells sometimes, since that opens a window for enemy duo to kill you or your carry. Which items you priorities buying first minutes of laning etc. Great vid regardless
Thank you very informative! Would love tips for pos 3 & 4 🎉
Would love more content on supports: how to play after min 7?)
It couldn't be better explained, thank you
Awesome and informative! Thank you
Love your approach and how you make videos. Would love a mid analysis (pls let it be an earth spirit replay)
Thank you! Its coming
(But not earth spirit 😅)
Thanks bro, whoever can play pos 5, is a a really good at pos 1 / 2 ❤
True
I do both pos1 and 5
Best content ever
Liked and subscribed
yes yes yes we need tons of pos 5 contents mr khezu pls
Amazing video once again, man you doing great! Please show us how to play as Pos 4 in regards to knowing what the enemy Pos 5 (as shown here) would do! ty
ty! Will try
Straightforward and insightful. Loving the guides!
This is actual great content! I wonder what's the right timing to do a half pull on radiant. I almost always can't pull it off.
Incredible level of content my guy 🤌
thank you! 🥹
nice video! gonna practice half pulling today ^^
this is what Im looking for thank you very much
Dude i love your videos!
Can you please do a tutorian on last hitting creeps and farming fast. What to do and not to do.
Also can you teach us the dagger toss enemies to team mates and dagger skewer
Thank you!
Yes, one of the next videos for now is about last hitting
(I will try to do the rest in the future)
Amazing stuff G
This is a very solid advice. I'm currently on an 11 game winning streak just by abusing this trick. I go into games just dedicated to not let the enemy offlane get the hard camp. Just keep blocking the camp until minute 5 mark where most of the time my pos 1 is ready to jungle and just dip in an out of lane to catch creepwave
Nice! This is very helpful 😄
Also, what is “half pull”? 🤔
Solid video have subbed
I like this Dota how-to more than many others. It's short and straight to the point - IDK mf's out there thinking posting an entire 50 minute match is helpful (it's the equivalent of 'hey you wanna go be good? just watch me play'). Your video did something they also don't normally do; you provide insight as to why you do things and what goes through your mind. TY!
The purchase from Snake is really very cool. I have everything the same, but in addition to 3 trees I also take tango and mango
Video is great
Only thing I sort of disagreed with was the hard stance against wind lace. I think in certain matchups it’s worth the early buy, particularly pubs where the opponents are often unhinged and less predictable as a result.
Hello Khezu your guides are so useful for me, im learning about Dota. Greetings good guy.
Noticed! Thank you for the nice comment
Incredible guide. Thank you so much. Could you explain what to do after minute seven as well?
Will be a follow up video on this topic soon!
Great content Khezu! pls cook more!
Very helpful for me as suffering support player 😊❤
More general tips on pos 4/5 please! 🙏
Esse é o puro suco do dota meus amigos !
can you show more ward spots for both pos 4/5 gameplay on the big/medium camps i keep getting outplayed on these often
Hey Khezu, I’m your fan when i have played HoN since 2017. And now still your fan. Love you 😘
good old hon days 🥹🥹
thank you my friend 🥰
Someone I admire very much, you could call him a dota intellectual -- a titan--, once said "NEVER LEAVE LANE ON 5!!!".
It was just yesterday that I suckwd so much in the game and wanted to take a break from it. Thanks for getting me back to the addiction.
😂
Support here😮
Great video again!
pos 4 next ? u earned my subs hihi
Mid and 4 next!
hi khezu! will pos4 be somewhat similar? block the easy camp and unblock the hard camp? lotus pools at 3mins, rotate at 5, secure runes at 6, and wisdom at 7?
its not as simple, but thats a small guideline for pos 4's yeah!
Amazing. I've been loving venge in pos5 recently. Her early stats are actually insane so you can trade favourably or even kill most pos4 supps in many cases. Armor reduction from her W helps to harrass any tanky offlaners like Axe. You have stun that can help turn fights if they dive tower bot. And once your carry has a bit of farm & is setup in lane, go roam and get kills with stun in other lanes.
If executed properly you can win safe lane for your carry giving them a great start and have a positive impact on offlane as well. 2/3 lanes in good position should set you up to take mid game and eventually win.
To scale the hero into mid & late game, look at what your team needs. Move speed? Build drums into boots of bearing. Saves? Build solar crest. Up against tanky heroes? Build urn into vessel and shred HP.
If all else fails, build hurricane pike into aghs and become a right clicking core with 2 lives 😂
Honestly she's so versatile I love it.
Venge is a great hero rn, all spells are good, good stats and good trading
+ As you said good itemization
tempo with drums/vlads
scaling with aghs
counter tempo with vessel
also remember Rosh
great content!! best time to hit NC for half pull btw??
generally around :20/:50!
What if its a losing lane? What can you do to help your carry catch up? Specially when your carry can't farm jungle like AM, PA and etc. Btw nice vid!
Should do a video on how to know which objective to take
Best basic build for pos5 is for me: 1 set of tangoes, 2 sentries, stick, 2 branches and faerie fire. But there are couple of rules I figure out way, way too late in my dota life (6k games played).
1. 95% of games you dont need mana regen item from start of the game. You have full mana pool, and you have one spell, so you can't burn it all in 1-2 minutes in the game. 1st courier trip can handle it.
2. use your courier asap. Right after bounty runes you have extra approx 100-150 gold to play with. If you use it right away you have adventage
3. harrass is priority no.1 like 95% of the time. you can pull, you can last hit far away creep, but you MUST harras and trade hits.
4. Never underestimate additional regen. Don't try to save money on it. Get tangos, salve, clarity, mango in time, not when you are out and have like 20% of HP.
5. Infused Raindrop is BiS in 90% games as pos5 in early game. It gives you like 5-6 extra stenght worth of HP (bracer) in fight. And mana regen of sages mask. It is retarded how good it is.
What do u think about stacking the easy camp and just killing the whole wave? I usually half pull if the enemy lane is strong but if its weak i just try to stack and deny the entire wave
stacking S tier play if you can
Thats a Big Brain play
I've been doing exactly ALL of these (maybe even more that overkills, ie, buying 2-3 sens since start all the time for camp war, trade with enemy like hell to cover my carry, always steal W runes, smoke gank all the time), and yet still stuck in Archon.
Useful guide 🔥🔥🔥
thank you!
Im really new to dota and i'm not sure how do you do the "half" pull on the easy camp as radiant? The one you only send 2-3 creeps to the neutral camp
Time it between :18 and :21
or second option, hit neutrals, stand still, and now time your wave with the second time the neutrals hit you
really great video, thanks!
Screenrecording takes so much of gpu performance? Cuz even with ancient rx470 I had settings on max. Except AA and ultra shadows.
This is perfect as I practice pos5 and maining support.
