I've been doing a lot of research based on the old Tales of the Jedi stories, the cancelled book Mandlora, KOTOR 1 and 2, the cancelled KOTOR 3, and I played a decent amount of SWTOR. I've been learning how to play D&D with my friends and started writing a campaign for them to make my own version of KOTOR 3. I takes the elements that were alluded to in KOTOR 2 that got expanded on in SWTOR, but it treats the restored cut content as canon (where necessary) and treats SWTOR as non-canon (I wasn't much of a fan of how it leaped 300 years later and mostly ignored the consequences of our actions in KOTOR 1 and 2). It's been really fun to work on, and it's pretty much the closest I'll ever get to experiencing KOTOR 3. It even includes ideas on what happened to the Sunrider family. I'm treating it like the old EU writers would try to do, and reading Tales of the Jedi actually made me realize Dark Empire is one of my favorite stories just because of how they tie in together.
@@breezy3176 it was unfortunate but inevitable that the Canon obsessed Star wars fuckwits would figure out a way to shoe horn in a Canon gender for two player defined characters and then shit all over them in a completely unnecessary way for a mediocre MMO.

I always wondered what happened to Mission, Zaalbaar Juhani and Jolee after the events of Kotor 1. I kinda wish we at least got to see Mission as I think her being the youngest character would have given some great story potential in regards to the Exile's journey with her reflecting on her time with Revan and what he taught her.
That indeed would have been nice. I guess maybe KoTOR 3 might have looked into them a bit. But I think SWToR gave them some added lore like that. But I wouldn't know for sure.
I've always wondered why Bastila wasn't hunted by the sith or sought out by the exil or kreia. She was only a padawan but as we're shown the sith were after all force sensitives.
I think Bastila just managed to stay under the radar enough. Kreia doesn't really have any use for her. But the Sith were hunting Jedi, not any force sensitive.
And I recall that the exile and Kreia were looking for members of the Jedi Council specifically. I don't recall Bastila being on the council at that time.
@@PapitoQinn Actually, Bastila left the Jedi Order which is why she was not killed by the Sith as they missed her. Some time after Darth Malak's defeat and death, Revan and Bastila got married. However, the Jedi Order do not approved their marriage since Jedi are not supposed to fall in love and they feared Revan's newfound love philosophy may affect the ways of the Jedi. During the debate between him and the Jedi Order, Bastila sided with Revan. Eventually, both parties agreed on one thing. The Jedi Order will not interfered with their married life in exchange Revan must not spread newfound love philosophy among the Jedi.
Absolute genius for this. Carth and bastilla, and everyone remained loyal to their deaths. T3 himself made sure the Ebon hawk survived. Revan’s legacy outlived him, unfortunately

@@PapitoQinn The game runs slower than molasses and none of the fixes I Googled helped. I could play KOTOR 1 on my old Win7 computer without any issue.
If I was leader of Lucasfilm I would have brought back the EU canon but change a few things such as decanonize Swtor and instead have the Old Sith Empire invade after Kotor 2 about 5-10 years so the side quests and characters have more purpose and so Revan's life isn't completely ruined and we get to see more of the Exile and his/her's crew probably so in Kotor 3 we could even play as a character who would be revealed later on in the game as a plot twist to be a Sith Lord of the Old Sith Empire but after the Sith Emperor destroyed multiple populations of planets for super weapons and for rituals your character left the Sith Empire to find redemption and to stop the Emperor. That would be perfect for a sequel and which is the reason why I hate Swtor so much and that it was in the EU because it wasted so much plots and ruined so many characters. Imagine Revan and the Exile's crew questioning your character after being revealed to being a Sith Lord maybe even being the Right hand of Emperor Vitiate himself who captured Revan imagine what Carth and Bastila's reaction would be if they found out that it was you who captured Revan and brought him to the Emperor to be interrogated imagine the hatred and the betrayal they would feel that would be perfect, and as the game went on you would try to make the Republic strong enough before the Sith came like reuniting the Mandalorian clans making them allies to the Republic, activating HK and ancient droid factories to serve the Republic as the Sith Empire comes closer and sets up puppet governments and allies loyal to them and to make the game a true war for the soul for the galaxy of itself. That sounds awesome.
To me TOR is a mixed back, though i hate what they did with Revan and the exile i liked some of the plots and the class storylines especialy the sith warrior one. If the MMO dies then they can just decannonise it and make kotor 3.
The fact is that EA had enough constant questions about KOTOR 3 so they decided to add Revan's arc to ToR... however they do it in typical for the latest EA's "business model of dealing with customers" "FU*K YOU" style... and caused pretty strong backlash for both Bioware and EA and of course for Drew Karpyshyn who admits himself that he was literally forced by EA's exec to "throw Revan under the bus" as community called entire arc. To be fair... I still can't understand how "Fallen Order" slipped under their "players don't want single player games" radar and wasn't axed before release?
carth said he's been in worse spots than taris under martial law and quarantine, which i assume is quarantined because of the rakghouls just as much as it is for suspicion of republic survivors. i wonder what it is about the sith empire that could possibly be so dangerous that even carth is unprepared? besides revan himself destroying carth with relative ease in the dark side ending even compared to what saul karath did to him.. treachery is always an obvious possibility.
I loved this scene so much more so because I remembered it when I played long ago but couldn't remmeber how to trigger it again sucks so much for me! great scene
2:09 this breaks my heart, considering both the exile and Revan are never going to return. Edit: and we'll probably never get star wars stories as good as this.
Who’s excited for this game being re-released for iOS and Android tomorrow? ‘Cause I am, because it’s my favorite Star Wars game and will try to do a canonical Playthrough but know that won’t be able to do everything in canon as the Handmaiden doesn’t go with a female Meetra Surik unless you use a mod and I’ve already pre-ordered it.
KoTOR 3 Would of been amazing choose to play as either Sith or Jedi and struggle against the beings Revan saw "The True Sith" and the only beings he actually feared that's what drove Revan to create the Empire and his fall to the Darkside after he saw what was coming from the outer rims the Ancient Sith may have been the fire, but the True Sith was the ultimate end of that Fire that will snuff out both The Sith and The Jedi so that would of been a great immersion to play in even if your Sith you have to fight against a force far more destructive then you therefore you must harness or find away to fight against these creatures. As a Jedi you will suffer greater malice upon yourself and a terrible price if you try to use the force such temptations just begging you to use either way both will see the raw destruction the True Sith will unleash upon you as a Jedi you will see The Republics Destruction, Jedi Purged, Demise of life and imminent End of Hope and as the Sith you will see The Empire Become Enslaved, torn from the force (Sith slaves), Korriban leeched of the Force and pretty much the end of life just like how Darth Nihilus would of done ONLY the True Sith did much MUCH worster. But saddly we ended up with SWTOR but i actually enjoy the game BUT the original scrpt for the Old Republic just sounded way darker and more insidious then what we got in SWTOR was going to be a struggle with either side as Jedi or Sith against such a Eldrich Sith Force like shit they used Ancient Sith Weaponry like swords infused with Elder Ancient Dark Side Sorcery and Chitin Beast shells scales, Skins, Hide like Armours looking hell lit even if looking primitive they where a scourge across the galaxy.
For me KOTOR ended in this game. The novel and SWTOR destroyed all ideas set in the KOTOR 2. For me The Exile went to find Revan and we simply don't know what happened afterwards.
I'm not sure if this is part of restored content mod or not. But when you speak to Atton for the first time you have to tell him that Revan saved the Republic.
If you're playing on console it's not on there it was the same for me too. They were leasing and complete game for console. All of this is added content for PC
Hear me out, we get a kotor game where we play through the mandalorian wars, you play as revan/meetra/malak and go through the wars, witnessing what sets up kotor 1 and 2. I think that would be a good way to get people back into the series and then for the love of all things, give us kotor III. Swtor isnt canon anymore so who cares what it says, nobody really likes it anyways.
The way it works is if you play Light Side in KOTOR 2, then it assumes the Light Side options were also picked in KOTOR 1. If you play Dark Side in KOTOR 2, it assumes the Dark Side options were picked in KOTOR 1.
@@UltraStarWarsFanatic No, when you meet Atton Rand you have the option to correct him on the gender/alignment/etc of Revan based on how you played the first game, and the game treats that as the canon version of Revan. It has nothing to do with your alignment.
@@ragnarlothbrok4281 The Republic did win that war though. But of course, this is Star Wars. Another war is only a matter of time. As for the dark side ending and Revan leaving, it was a way to expand upon the foundation that was laid in KoTOR 1. You speak to Master Dorak and he tells you that Revan and Malak went off somewhere and came back dark sided. Revan remembers what it was and leaves to fight it no matter what. I'm treating it like the old EU writers would try to do, and reading Tales of the Jedi actually made me realize Dark Empire is one of my favorite stories just because of how they tie in together.
that artwork at the end gave me the true feels
The saddest part is when you realise that neither Carth or Bastila saw Revan ever again and their request to the Exile here sends her to her death.
and that how revan was used in the old republic was a little garbage
@@breezy3176 it was unfortunate but inevitable that the Canon obsessed Star wars fuckwits would figure out a way to shoe horn in a Canon gender for two player defined characters and then shit all over them in a completely unnecessary way for a mediocre MMO.
The exile was going to go regardless.
Swtor isn't canon in my book! Seriously that game is absolute garbage!!
Actually Exile returned to the Republic for some time before departing to her death
Still more depressing 😭
Star Wars is about Trilogies. Give us KotoR III.
Regardless if you accept Legends' story, or some other head canon, perhaps a semblance of the original plan for K3... The gravitas of this scene really sinks in when you realize this would be the last time you touch upon the events in the first game.
How did i not know this dialogue was possible?? all these years later and im still finding new things
It's sad seeing this after learning what happens to Revan. Carth and Bastila never got to see him(or her) again. I do like that they added them in though so we can see that they're still around and we hear more about what happened with Revan.
Revan and his legacy will always be in my heart. Hopefully he got a chance to see his friends and family again through the Force.
Knights othe old Republic are my all-time favorite games...remembering this scene is one of the highlights...Revan is my favorite character its obvious...but thank you for the memory lane here
I like to believe that all the SW Disney movies are a fever dream.
Lets be honest everyone who has played kotor I & II doesn't count disney star wars. They struck out 4 times, i dont trust them to deliver a good movie ever, my faith has been shattered, like it was at malachor V.
I'd be 100 percent ok with them making a true kotor 3 ignoring everything in swtor and picking up from kotor 2
Swagtor could be retconned in its entirety and we'd all be better for it.
Well seeing as it’s all legends now, we could get a great canon kotor trilogy if Disney play their cards right
@@Toa9440 but will they?
@@Toa9440 As if. Disney is more concerned with being woke and pandering to certain groups to make anything the fans actually like. If Disney didn't buy Star Wars, there might've even been a chance for another good KOTOR game, but now... not so much.
just read revan book guys. that book is literally kotor 3
The most cool LS Nomi Robe here
The coolest. Neutral Jolee Robes are pretty nice too.
ossus keeper is by far the most op one tho.
This feels like a franchise where the IP holders are gonna be like: Oh you guys liked KOTOR?
Then randomly make the third game.
She kept a low profile because of her kid.
Also having admiral onasi helping keep them under the radar helped im sure 😉
The game that could've been. I still pray we get a proper sequel and finale to KotOR. I know SWTOR exists but, it's just not the same.
read revan book. that book continues the story of kotor
@@TibiFit yet I still want Kotor 3
I wish Carth was wearing a Republic uniform.
Nice choice with Manaan theme.
Revan truly has one of the best storylines in star wars, truly enotional
Absolute genius for this. Carth and bastilla, and everyone remained loyal to their deaths. T3 himself made sure the Ebon hawk survived. Revan’s legacy outlived him, unfortunately
*sigh* what could have been.
KOTOR 3
@@stellarexile8803 I like your profile picture.
@@sirpepeofhousekek6741 Thank you! I'm a huge fan of KOTOR, so I decided to do a theme all year round. Because it's February, I chose to have Visas with hearts :D.
This legit brings a tear to my eye... I wish we got KOTOR 3
Hearing Carth's voice makes me wish I could play the first game on my Windows 10 laptop.
Why can't you?
@@PapitoQinn The game runs slower than molasses and none of the fixes I Googled helped. I could play KOTOR 1 on my old Win7 computer without any issue.
I can play it on my Windows 10 laptop. I got the GOG version so maybe that has something to do with it.
Man, why don't I remember this? I've played through this game 3 times and I don't recall seeing Carth.
When I first played this game i accidentally told atton revan was sith, i replayed the game recently and saw this scene for the first time.
Good soldiers follow orders
It was always so rare for me to ever get this scene to trigger. What is it you have to do it to get it to occur?
Not much. Just make sure Revan is set to light side. If Revan is set to male, Bastila appears. If Revan is female, it's just Carth.
I loved this scene so much more so because I remembered it when I played long ago but couldn't remmeber how to trigger it again sucks so much for me! great scene
You just need to set Revan as light side when you speak to Atton for the first time.
In her brief cameos in TSL, Bastila appeared far more mature than she did in KotOR1 in my opinion.
The Admiral WANTS TO TALK to you.
WHAT. CARTH??? NO. FUCKING. WAY.
take it easy
“It’s a little beat up, but it’s still home.”
Suddenly every Ukrainian like me understands all the “I don’t wanna talk about it” from the first game.
I know most people didn't care for the Revan novel, but it is sweet to think that, by this time, Revan and Bastila's son has probably been born.
How did you get to this part? I don't recall ever talking to Carth in the game.
Cullys Charle you got make the main character a good guy or netural for revan and when talking to atton say revan save the republic
Is it in the vanilla game? I have a feeling it was from the Restored Content mod.
its slightly modified by is vanilla
2:09 this breaks my heart, considering both the exile and Revan are never going to return.
Edit: and we'll probably never get star wars stories as good as this.
We might still get good Star Wars stories, but it won't be like this.
Imagine What his lines be If we chose the dark side ending
Who’s excited for this game being re-released for iOS and Android tomorrow? ‘Cause I am, because it’s my favorite Star Wars game and will try to do a canonical Playthrough but know that won’t be able to do everything in canon as the Handmaiden doesn’t go with a female Meetra Surik unless you use a mod and I’ve already pre-ordered it.
It's been reported that it is possible to install the restored content mod on the mobile version.
Wait what, this never happened for me. I assume it's only a light side thing? Because I only played dark side.
This specific one only happens if you set Revan to Male light side. Doesn't matter What your exile is. I don't think.
@@PapitoQinn It doesn't need to be a male Revan, i think this happens with a female Revan too.
@@markokrstic8795 Yes. This specific one happens with male Revan. With female Revan Bastila isn't there.
@@PapitoQinn I meant a similar one happens with a female Revan.
@@OliverKane3582 What do I mean? This scene is dependent on what Revan was set to, not the exile.
KoTOR 3
Would of been amazing choose to play as either Sith or Jedi and struggle against the beings Revan saw "The True Sith" and the only beings he actually feared that's what drove Revan to create the Empire and his fall to the Darkside after he saw what was coming from the outer rims the Ancient Sith may have been the fire, but the True Sith was the ultimate end of that Fire that will snuff out both The Sith and The Jedi so that would of been a great immersion to play in even if your Sith you have to fight against a force far more destructive then you therefore you must harness or find away to fight against these creatures.
I kinda want that to be the case too.
If you get Admiral Cede does he interwiews you?
No. This is completely skipped and you go straight to Malachor after blowing up the Ravager.

This wasn't in my game. Is this only in the restored MOD?
Oh hey Kaidan
Now that Microsoft has bought Obsidian, could there be any hope at all for a KOTOR 3? Or would they have to fight EA for that chance?
I don't think anyone wants to deal with EA.
I think it is more probable that they do a remaster of these games and if they sell well then they might consider doing a third part
Where is this from? I played Kotor 2 and never saw this. Did I just miss it?
I'm not sure if this is part of restored content mod or not. But when you speak to Atton for the first time you have to tell him that Revan saved the Republic.

That’s the beauty of KOTOR and KOTOR II. Despite KOTOR II being a sequel, both games stood out on their own.
I mean, that's a lot like saying "Oh, so Revan magically becomes a man even if you play as a woman in the first game?"
