You know, I didn't get this during my playthrough, so when I ended up killing Uthar and Yathara... Well, lets just say Carth ended up killing a lot of Sith that day.
For everybody wondering/ridiculing why Dustil Onasi joined the Sith: The Sith landed on Telos IV and took prisoners, in addition to bombing the planet. One of the people they took was Dustil. They raised him from there, and Dustil's anger over how 'useless' the Republic military and his father were at defending Telos led to considerable bitterness and resentment towards both. The Sith obviously did nothing but encourage this the whole time, and eventually, Dustil was encouraged by a friend to come to the Academy on Korriban. To assume that Dustil thoroughly and with a level head thought the issue through is being unrealistic. Dustil was a child and the Sith naturally worked to make him believe things their way. Grief and bitterness over the Republic and Carth not arriving in time led to hate for both. The fact that Dustil is a Sith when you meet him is actually quite thought-out by the story-writers and is entirely plausible.
And the Jedi Order's relationship with Telos was...sticky. The Jedi had a sunshine view of it ("Oh, these are our little brothers. They cannot defend the galaxy with sabers, but they can serve in humble and quiet ways by growing our food, fixing our droids, and other support work"), and the reality was that Agricorps were openly called "washouts and failures" by Jedi, treated as the poor relations. Not to mention the fridge horror implications of what a planet full of failed Force Sensitives allowed to have families and still controlled by the Jedi could lead to. (It's not an explicit or overt breeding program, but still a possibility). Carth left Telos and spent most of his adult life in the Fleet, but still has a few vestiges of annoyance with Jedi, and the Mandalorian Wars didn't help. Dustil is young enough to have spent his whole life (up until the bombing) on the planet and been subject to the Jedi's not so great treatment of his people, maybe even being coached by those around him to hide his Sensitivity as to not stick out or be recruited. So the Sith come by and bombard the place. He gets captured. Agreeing with his captives would be the only real survival strategy available. And...oh, hey! you don't have to be in the closet about your Force Sensitivity anymore. Plus, you can use it to show the Jedi you aren't just some peasant they can look down on. Dustil is probably the kind of end result Revan was looking for in targeting the planet. Too bad Malak screws the pooch and ended up bombing the planet into dead rock.

Not with that specific mod. Like I said, I never released a mod that separates the Jedi and Sith sounds for lightsabers. What you could do to get as close as you can to it is to change all the short lightsabers into regular lightsabers by editing all the UTI files for all the short lightsabers.
What sucks is that I did this (completely by accident) up to the part when i have to give the datapad back.... but then I betrayed everyone and saved it. Cue Carth rampaging through the academy giving his only son a face full of blaster fire.
Of all the times I played Kotor, I never knew who Dustil was, sure I remember killing him, but I don't usually have Carth in My Party. I guess that's why. Usually, It's Bastilla and HK-47, and after She gets taken by Malak, It's HK-47 and Canderous.

The Jedi were truly cowards for doing that. they are supposed to be the "Gaurdians of Peace and Justice throughout the Galaxy." But instead, they let the Mandalorians capture world after world, while they Medidtated in their Temples. The entire Order was ignaorant, all excaept for Reven, Malak, Meetra Surik, and a handfull of others. Even the Republic knew something HAD to be done.
@ShemL, I am a big fan of the KOTOR series, yet I've never played this storyline/mission. Can you tell me what happens after this video and how the mission ends?
@RedvBlue23 Yeah, I had no idea that'd happen. That totally ruined the immersion for me, and whenever I talk to Carth after that he keeps saying that we need to find proof. I got real depressed.
Anyway, I figured that people would have hated not being able to Force Jump so I only did a mod like that for myself which was wasn't very clean (meaning it would be hard to release without including someone else's work or mod that I used and getting permission isn't always easy was one of the issues) which is why you can see the differences in sounds in my videos.

Oh wow, talk about a huge resume in Star Wars!
Wait WHAT?! You can SAVE him?! When I tried talking to him he ended up fighting me and he died!!
O_O *stares at Carth's jacket* Where did you get that? It's spiffy!! As much as I like the orange jacket, that one looks much better.
1:20 I didn’t find this guy in my play through.
You know about that sith academy that “Was” there?
I... may or may not have slaughtered everybody in there.
Lol same all my third playthrough I didn't even know about him and I went to korriban and I just immediately killed everyone as soon as I could and then found about him after
Thank you!
Even the Republic knew something HAD to be done.
i thought Dustil's voice was familiar! Yeah, Rosh from Jedi Academy! Huh! I think he does another voice on another Star Wars game too.
@Zero12387 He also voiced Rosh Penin from Star Wars: Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy.
So basically if you play as a female and romance Carth you'll be the stepmother of this brat. Same goes for Mass Effect 2 where you romance Thane.
Dustil's Voice....is Rosh Penins...
Jason Marsden also plays Haku in Spirited Away, Max Goof in both Goofy Movies and a number of other works that I forgot, but I know I heard his voice.
@ShemL, I am a big fan of the KOTOR series, yet I've never played this storyline/mission. Can you tell me what happens after this video and how the mission ends?
Looks like Dustil has a big grudge against his daddy and has finaly let out lets anger and pain when he shows up
That is the whole mission. I didn't leave anything out.
If you've played Jedi Academy, yeah you're recognize the voice. Hint *Rosh Penin*.
I played KOTOR 1 at least 10 times but I never knew about this
It's spelled Brejik and if you read my annotations, it mentions Brejik with the correct spelling.
@RedvBlue23 Yeah, I had no idea that'd happen. That totally ruined the immersion for me, and whenever I talk to Carth after that he keeps saying that we need to find proof. I got real depressed.
Anyway, I figured that people would have hated not being able to Force Jump so I only did a mod like that for myself which was wasn't very clean (meaning it would be hard to release without including someone else's work or mod that I used and getting permission isn't always easy was one of the issues) which is why you can see the differences in sounds in my videos.
lol nice one RickChimera
That's how the Jedi look at everything.
Lmao all i can hear is Myron from Fallout 2 the creator of Jet.
I cringed when I heard Rosh again... Anyways, thanks for the pointers, I have played and finished TSL but not this one, due to my computer hating it, but I have a new one and shall try it tonight. :D
You wrote "Damn" you go when it's "Down" you go.
@Darien500: I've had to put a lot of very obvious annotations in my videos to help prevent some stupid redundant queries over the years. And it has seemed to help.
love dem voices =)
This is the problem I have with the Republic and the Jedi Order: When they kill someone it's "justifiable", but when the Sith and the Empire kill, they are "Evil"... It's a double standard. Why is it ok for the Jedi and the Republic to do it, but not the Sith Empire? Carth even avoids his son's question when he asks him, "Your the soldier, father. How many mothers have you killed?" Like Darth Sidious said, "Good is a Point of View." Unlike Carth, I'm proud of you Dustil, You have done Well.
@603xxg: Oh, BTW... If you have already been captured by the Leviathan, you're screwed. You have to meet Jordo before getting captured.
