Mine was badly set up. Took a while to get the powevalve right. And then had to put a weight on the flywheel to increase bottom end grunt. Finally had new after market head and remap. Oh and a stronger rear spring. It is now the bike it sgould yave been out of the shop.
Literally just picked mine up yesterday! Wasn’t super impressed with the color until I saw it in real life! Love love love the colors scheme in person! Your videos helped me decide to finally throw down the 13k on this machine.
@jhust69 I loved every color scheme of Huskies except ‘22 with grey frame. but man, 2023 is another level. it’s even better than any custom graphics imo. I loved my stock 2021 Te300i graphics a lot but it would be sad if it saw the 2023 models haha. I am not sure if I should go for a 2023 Te300i, Tx300 Tbi or wait for the 2024 enduro range but I’ll wait few months more before I decide I guess
I miss the old place where you’d ride them down and then back up the hill. Do they still let you ride them or is it a policy at the new location?I do enjoy hearing the sound they make and as much zoom on the different textures/finishes.
Man I miss that too! As far as the test rides, KTM 100% wants the Techs to test ride the bike before its handed over to the customer...but many shops don't do this. The difference now is I do not work as a tech anymore or even at the dealership at all, so I just pop by to quickly shoot videos. Sometimes if a bike is prepped I will start it or test ride it, but they usually aren't.
@@aaronyoung6903 I've owned 2 KTM 300 exc's... An 04 and a 09. This '23 TE300 is another level. I've also had 4 strokes, they are great, but I'm mostly into 'hard' Enduro stuff. Challenging frustrating riding where these 300s shine. The injection system is awesome so far, noticeably smoother than my carburetored older KTM 300s. I just got it, so I haven't taken it on a real ride yet. But I'm so pumped. It almost seems like it would be a 'cheater bike' 😅
@@aaronyoung6903 another thought, the Husqvarna TE comes standard with incredible standard hardware like the triple tree, wheels, hubs, etc. I'm adding the radiator fan kit, the upgraded TPS guard(per friend input) and skid plate that covers the linkage for the time being. They say there are no dumb questions...until now. How loud is the TE 300 during slow'ish trail riding? Louder or quieter than the FE models? Anything available that can make the TE 300 as quiet as possible (besides never starting it?)
If you're standing close to the TE, it will probably sound about the same. However, the FE and especially FC models being four stroke have much more bass, so the sound travels much further.
I'm very interested in the TE 300 Heritage version of this bike. Is it just color scheme and graphics, or are there other differences in hardware or tech?
Or just buy a 22' for discounted price and get the same bike but nicer colorway. Having owned and experienced many KTM starter failures those bikes need a backup.
@@Madtigertv haha I know what you mean,my local deal is getting only 2 2023s and they are spoken for already they got 4 2022S luckily I got one otherwise I was looking at som serious windshield time to find one
You guys keep talking about how wonderful the color scheme is... SO WHAT!! how bout the bike its self? I'm ready to buy one. Love the 2 stroke world... been looking at the KTM SX 250, GAS GAS MC 250 Husqvarna TC 250 ETC... Now I see the Husq. TE 300 Elect. start, fuel injection, no need to pre mix the gas, headlight, optional kick start. and yes the colors look good lol... WOW seems awesome, what do you guys think of this bike!!!??? MXGURU I watched your video... nice job indicating pros & cons is this bike to heavy to jump or motocross?
Well, the reason we talk about the color scheme is because that is the only change for 2023. We've literally spent 3 years talking about the other aspects of the machine. The bike is not too heavy to jump at all, but the TPI doesn't have quite the hit most people want for a MX track. Fantastic bike for trails though!
Curious what your thoughts are on the future of the enduro bikes such as the XC-W, TE, and EC do you think they will stay with TPI due to Euro emissions or will they get the TBI treatment?
Well Brian, I really thought they would stay TPI...I don't see how the TBI could ever be any more efficient. But Ive heard rumors of otherwise. Ive heard possibly TBI but still oil injected for the new enduros...So, no clue!
damm that's my dream dirt bike! i felt sad about truth that i'm now student and didn't have a job here in Thailand the price of that bike with green book to ride it legal on road it's around $20,000 so i think when i am old enough and have ability to buy one maybe the law in that time wouldn't allow it and only allow electric bike
I bought mine last week, only put 13kms on it, when I get back from work I’m going riding straight up!

So glad to hear that man! Thanks for the kind words and I hope you make some great memories on it!
Bring on that TBI in 2024 on all of the smoker's! I don't mind mixing gas with some Motorex 60:1 with Sunoco ethanol free optima unleaded 95 octane.

How do you like it so far? I’m a 4 stroke guy but considering one of these. Any thoughts or input would be appreciated. 😃

Yes. However in our area the 2022 300's were gone months ago.
If you can find one for a discounted price buy a lottery ticket too

Yup!
