- Mid December and conditions were mint. This was a fun climb that cut straight to the top of the mountain. Doesn’t look like this section has had a lot of traffic on it.
I've mountain biked and ran all over Vedder for a decade but haven't got a dirt bike yet. Rad to see this perspective, and the raw music-free video was great 🤘
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed! Any plans to get a dirt bike?
Dang, that looks like a fun trail. Thanks for posting.
That was intense. Now I want to go! Great ride.
Wow the trail looks awesome! Looks like a lot of fun ❤
Man.... I'm in flat ass Texas. I drive 3 hours to get to some pine trees that are hills compared to that. I was thinking this must be Canada.. awesome trail. GoPro flattens everything. This is STEEP. Killer ride!!!!
You got it! I’m in Canada. So fortunate to have the epic riding areas and terrain here. Yup, GoPro vision is real. Thanks for watching!!
That looks like a fun gentle climb
I haven't explored that area yet - from Mission - but it's on my list. It's cool to see how the trail is!
You’re quite a bit closer than I am. Takes me about an hour and 10 minutes to get out there. Great place to ride if you love flow.
I remember my first time at vedder I got shit kicked. I was new to riding at the time and it ate me for dinner. I did follow a local vet of the mountain however that likes to take newbies on all the hardest knar the mountain has to offer. So he could have his shits and giggles.
Oh man! The same thing happened to me in my local club…the goal almost seems like it’s to break off the newbies, I don’t really get it. Luckily I pushed through and love riding, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I had a couple miserable experiences
Nice work on the rock face 👍 ill get back there one day and get it 🤙
If you carry some momentum and stay high right you’ll be golden. 🤙🏻
Dirbike heaven
Nice wall ride on that rock feature. It’s a lot crazier than it looks on video.
Thanks man! Happy to make it up first try.
That’s a good one. Did on my tw200. Got hung up lots though with low ground clearance 😂
I can imagine that rock face giving you some trouble on the TW. It’s tough enough with an enduro bike haha 😆
That's a fun looking trail. Quick question on the TE300, how much power does it make and what is the powerband like. Is it peaky or flat? I have a Beta Xtrainer and want something with similar torque but a lot more power especially on the top end. My Xtrainer is pretty flat up top. I heard from a few people, older TE300's didn't feel much more powerful than the Xtrainer. I'm not sure if this is true but don't see how if it has over 50hp.
I've never rode a Xtrainer so it's hard for me to compare, but looking at the dyno it has 31.7 HP up top. The TE300 I would expect to have at least 40+ HP so you should notice a more peaky top end power. My 24 TBI is still very smooth and linear which makes it easy to ride.
@@stanbarry Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like a natural prgression for me. I'll definitely keep it in mind when I go bike shopping for the next one.
like and fav
What trail names are these? I’m up in Pemberton and it’s all tight slow rocky terrain, need a weekend on this stuff!
Nice
How are the Braktek brakes?
Braktec rear is good, but the front was a bit squishy for me. I replaced the front caliper with a brembo one and now the it feels crisp.
In BC, do you need a plate or rego of any kind to ride here?
You just need to get your bike registered. It costed around $30 last time I did it.
@@stanbarrydo you mean icbc?
@@egrushin8126 Right, any ICBC auto plan broker can register it for you.
@3:47 is that guy wearing a Klim avalanche pack?
He is, they actually make for a good moto pack. I have one for longer rides where I need to carry more gear.
Good times Offroad
Where is this ?! It looks amazing @stanbarry
