FUEL Series 30 Min LEGS CLUSTER SETS Workout | Day 11

- Maybe different to other lower body workouts, this is all short sets with short rest… but this doesn’t mean ‘rushing’ the reps or as many reps as possible! In fact quite the opposite! Perfect form keeping in mind you have only a short work period!
Every muscle in the lower body will have attention and work together to move through the movements!
The timer will be on for a majority of the workout 30 seconds of work with 15 seconds rest in between!
The format is cluster sets so simply this is shorter work periods with short rest periods where we completely drop the weight if holding and rest. Essentially mini sets and today it will be 4 mini sets per main exercise! The last set (4th set), will be a slight variation so could involve a more dynamic, less dynamic or isometric variation. For example, the Sumo deadlifts at the beginning of the workout are x3 sets of full range with the 4th set being more towards 1/2 reps!
In between the cluster sets, we have x1 set of an exercise to include the calves so calf raise squats or single leg calf raises!
It will all be on screen throughout so simply follow along! Just note that when performing single leg work such as curtsey lunge,
The dumbbells I am using for the majority of the workout are 2 x 15kg each. I also use 1 x 30kg for the sumo deadlifts at the beginning of the workout.

This was pretty demanding and the finisher finished me very nicely!😆
Enjoy the shorter work periods and take extra time post cool down to gently stretch out the calves that bit more if you like! Note that stretching should be gentle and not painful!

In general, leg day is mostly my least favorite day of the week...but this workout....I enjoyed it so much!! I really couldn't believe I was already near the end when I read 'finisher'! Also I liked the format with the cluster sets a lot!

Devansh, I can guarantee you will feelfire after the finisher in every lower body muscle! Such a creative session, loved the calf edition, we are going to feel it tomorrow for sure! The add-on was just perfect continuation of the session - my quads were screaming at me!
Morning Devansh I'm screaming too🤣🤣 I loved this format with the 4 exercise being a variation of the other 3 sets. Time just flew by. Used 20kg for sumo & 2x15kg for everything else. Managed just fine till I decided to do add on and then I was really screaming!!🤬it was agony but I wasn't let myself be defeated by it so got on with it. Overall, a very effective sess. The first set of calf raises were ouch but seemed to get easier as we went through them!! Well done today👍
@@soleil0812Elli you will rock them Elli. No major bother with them except calf raises but then I got used to them. Finisher was hard as it was longer. Decided to do add on 15 min wall sit. Died a slow & painful death here. It was soooo ouch but got it done. You will love this. You have got this👍

I just love it! No matter how hard your workouts can be you push us through it! 264 calories today. With 2 kg I know one day I will use heavier, but one step at the time💪
I always find clusters so deceptive..you start off thinking this is fine...but by the last round you know just how hard it is! And today’s clusters look so interesting with the 4th one a bit different from the other 3! I’m sure this will be really fun to do...and as always so brilliantly well planned by Caroline! Happy monday Matthew! The fact that there hasn't been one day in almost 2 years and a half training with Caroline that I didn't feel like doing the session, says a lot! It is her brilliant planning, workouts that are so creative and fun to do, switching between different styles, tempos, cardio/ strength. The best part of my day is when I focus solely on me and myself! When I work with and for my body not on or against it!
And what a fantastic way to start a new week! Cluster sets are one of my favourites,short bursts of energy but progressively every set becomes harder. Calves really got beaten up today😅 I loved the most rear step lunges and lateral lunges- the forth set of lateral lunges was brilliant, I hope Caroline produces more isometrics combined with dynamic or even explosive movements. The finisher was fantastic and the add-on killed me. The last two minutes were hard, my quads were screaming at me!
We have another excellent week planned and I could't be more excited to do all the sessions and feel like a beast afterwards!

Hi Matthew, I have to agree, what a great workout today's was, it just flew by so quickly - tough but fun, like all of Caroline's workouts. I love cluster sets and this definitely did not disappoint. The add on today was so hard after that, I really struggled through it! Feeling great now though. What a great start to the week.
That 60 second staple timer being set for 30 seconds each time made this torture 😅 even knowing the clock was counting wrong. Still felt like such a quick workout!
A great workout!! The 30 secs make it fly by🤩. And what a great tip from Caroline to place the weights on a table or chair so you don’t have to bend down to the floor each time. Something I never thought of 🤣 very simple & very effective thank you !!!❤️❤️🤩

Another brilliant workout today with clusters. I must admit, I have missed calf workouts and just like a psychic, Caroline has it today. I don’t know about you guys, but since FUEL started, I am always left out of gas. 😂 not complaining but I am enjoying every bit of it. Love these short but powerful workouts ! “Left out of gas” 😂 At the end of yesterday (day 10) I felt like a goldfish accidentally leaped out of the fish bowl panting on the floor, though didn’t die!

The thing about these workouts is that maybe you're not even doing that much but you will definitely be sweating BUCKETS, which is kind of a part of my goal cause I want to lose the fat. Also, to another person watching it may seem that this workout is very easy because of the way one has to perform the movements but when it's time to do this workout the amount of places that feel engaged is insane, I didn't even know that my body could ache in the places they ache after Caroline's workouts.

Day 11 Smashed! Very Demanding indeed and I loved it. Squat w/ Calf raise were tricky with balancing but I had fun with it. Calves were on 🔥. Killer finisher..Legs are gone! 🤩

Morning Trish hope you had fun. Loved the format with the variation on the 4th set it made it that bit more intense. Those calf raises were painful in the first round but I got used to them after that. Finisher was ouch as longer time but so good. I decided on add on and that is where I died!! It was agony. 15 min wall sit. It really was painful but what is a good challenge without pain. Got through it. Overall time flew on this and I'm glad it's over😜

Since joining the US Army at 18, I have always made fitness a part of my life. I worked at an athletic club for 15 years and was always asking my trainers for exercises to make my legs stronger, for backpacking and even many yoga flow movements, I.e. single leg postures and holds. Unfortunately the trainers had a limited number of leg movements in their tool boxes. Since doing your online classes, I am impressed at the variety of movements you create each session. Thanks you for your expertise and your most motivating and cheerful disposition. I really appreciate you👍🏻
This is the sweatiest workout I've done yet. My legs are burning and so are my forearms (those last few minutes really exhausted my grip strength)

Good Morning all! 😊 Week 3 has officially started 😍 We haven't worked out our calves for a while now, really looking forward to today's workout. The format is beautiful as always. I will be doing a different add-on which is the 20 minute bodyweight from the Christmas calendar as I don't have an empty wall, lol. Have a wonderful workout everyone ❤️🔥
What a great way to start the week. I used a 30kg Kettlebell, and 2x15kg Dumbbells. I added the famous burning 15 Minutes Wall sit challenge, and NO it doesn't get easier. Happy week Girvanators and to you too Caroline! ❤
That was something! Loved it. Every second of it, even when I thought for sure that the timer was broken.
It’s good to sometimes have workouts, like this one, that are completely standing with no floor work - makes it easier to work out in the garden! I had fun doing this on my patio.

The add-on WALL SIT was a killer and had to stop once during each wall-sit. But a perfect way of getting those thighs working. I did the wall sit after Friday's FUEL session and it was SOOOOO CHALLENGING. But Caroline's smile spurred me on.....

Legs are not usually my favorite, but today's workout was awesome. I am of course dripping sweat once again, but the time just flew by and it was such a great balance once again. Caroline, you are surpassing all expectations with Fuel, I am absolutely loving it!

On day 1 of this series while I was struggling, I wouldn’t have believed that I could smashed down the 1st 2 weeks, including the 2 Sunday sessions which I skipped for Endgame. So encouraging for my phobia of a CG cardio workout! I will look forward to week 3 and all! Greetings fellow Girvanators from Canada 💪🏼🙌🏼

This is one of my favourite leg workouts now! Short intervals are effective yet not so exhausting. I also loved the calf work, thanks!
Week 3 is starting off with a bang! This last weekend, my husband and I invested in a sweet set of dumbbells and tonight I worked out with a 50lb for the first time in my life! Feeling strong for sure 😊
Today's leg-workout and add-on workout done 🏋️. My legs were shaking in the end and are very sore now. What great workouts! Love them very much ❤️💪!

Very much enjoyed today’s format. I didn’t lift to my heaviest capability today because I’m a little bit sore from yesterday! Must have been those Bulgarians. Favourite exercise today were the lateral lunges then with the 10-second rise. On one of the calf raise rounds, I decided to practice a balancing yoga pose instead which I did not pull off very well but I did have fun trying!! No add-on for me today. My legs said no more, go sit down! Thank you for another fun and creative workout, Caroline!
I LOVED this format! Doing the 4 sets then going to the next exercise made me feel more motivated and helped me focus on the exercise!! Please do more of this format Caroline 😁😁😁

Have a nice week everyone. Great session to start this week with the killer add-on. Just a little information for those who haven't done the workout yet. Staples and calf raise appears on the screen as 30 seconds but actually around 1 minute.

This was the perfect amount of reps for leg workout! I used 20 lb db set and single 35 lb. My legs are feeling strong!!! The calf raises were KILLER!

My favorite leg workout of Fuel so far! Enough repetition to build those muscles but still some variety to keep it interesting 🔥
Amazing how these workouts in Fuel just fly by. I’ve loved all the other programs I’ve tried with CG but this one truly is done in a flash. A sweaty flash!

I’ve been living for and loving each series since I learned of Caroline during the Epic I series. Since then, I’ve completed Epic I, II, and III, Iron and now the Fuel series. Thank you Caroline, for always putting so much value and care into your work. Anyone else notice the timer seemed to slow down during some of the sets? Ironically, this would have had us doing more work while most of us felt this workout went by so quickly! 😂💙

Since I found this one, it has replaced all my other leg workouts, I love it so much. Today was the first time I raised the weights - from 2x7,5kg before to 2x10kg today, and it worked fine!
Oh, my! Just looking over the exercises I thought this would be easy breezy. Nope! The short rests between each exercise kept me focused. I looked forward to the variation on each of the 4th moves thinking it was sort of a respite! This was creative, went by quickly and worked the extremities without Bulgarians! Thank you Caroline for another fun, tough session! CG Community...you will enjoy Fuel 11!
This video is incredible! Her instructions/cues are seriously on point!!! Very helpful with form if you're unfamiliar of what to do or even if you just enjoy a nice reminder. The music was pretty good, too. Not going to lie, I was so into it that I danced around my living room with excitement a time or 2 during the rest periods. Hope that's allowed. Lol But my legs had a pretty nice looking pump once I was done! Would DEFINITELY recommend this fantastic video! Love Mrs. Caroline!
