What's the reasoning for coming off trt and using huge doses of hcg? I have been on trt for over 15 years and had essentially 0 sperm count. Added in 200iu hcg / day with hmg 75iu twice weekly and my wife was wife was pregnant within 6 months

I appreciate your perspective doc, but I don’t agree with your HCG bias. It’s not a lot of work. It’s easy. It keeps me balanced. It also has a positive response for other hormonal release outside of testosterone. There is data for this. I do 150 subq daily with my test. Daily. No problems. No AI. No emotional spikes. Great.
@@adonleon I do. I pull HCG first. 150 UIs (10 on the needle at my dilution) then 20 mg (10 on needle) test. This keeps it from bubbling. Sub Q. Small needle. Daily. For about 2 years. Keeps me balanced with no AI.
I’m 41 too and it’s been a life changer. I could care less about fertility obviously. I’ve got two kids that are adults now and I’m gay. Hcg seems like a lot of hype unless you’re doing steroid cycles and not on trt. I doubt it’s worth it. People new to trt should just mess with high doses and learn for themselves that minimal is better. And doctors should be more willing to try patients on trt.
So I understand in this way: Some people must take it to maintain fertility, others just take it cause they feel better on it but there are also others who cannot use it cause they feel much worse than without it. Sry for my English I’m from Slovakia.

I'm starting TRT this week because my T levels are 160 and Free T was at 4. Overall I feel like crap and it took me 6 years to figure out that this is the cause. Most doctors tell you that your fine if your levels are anywhere close to the normal range and that was the case for me 5 years ago when my T levels were 340. I'm 57 years old and I think I'm going to skip the HCG for now and focus on getting my T levels dialed in first. Not to worried about the size of my balls right now. Just want to feel good again

@@deebee4575first off, one shouldn’t discredit placebo, there’s a reason it’s even studied in trials, sometimes placebo is almost as good as the real thing. Secondly, some people respond very quickly and may actually begin having notable results. There’s enough data to support this.

My levels are very similar to yours, just lower total T and a little higher free T. I have been started on that same exact regimen you are describing. Was 100mg of Testosterone Cypionate weekly enough or did they adjust up after a while? I just started a week ago so I thought I'd ask you since you've been on it for longer.
@@abdou-co9kb no negative sides at all. Felt ok for the most part not as good as being on testosterone tho. Doc had me doing 50mg clomid Monday-Friday. Got my sperm count up enough for us to be able to do invetro as well!
I have been using hcg fertility doses for 9 months so far no apparent down regulation as monitored by stable elevated 17 OH progesterone levels as a proxy for intratesticular testosterone prodn . They doubled initially and stable since at 3000 IU weekly
Are you using testosterone as well? I'm seeing a fertility doc and have lowered my testosterone dose considerably while adding 1666 iu's of hcg 3 times a week
@abdou-co9kb look up rand McClain on here. He has a video where he talks about a convo he had with Dr lipschultz at a seminar where he asks him about that and his reply is there is no data he has found on it, says it's a legend
If you want to maintain fertility I would recommend freezing sperm before starting TRT. Depending on your age HCG can only do so much. It can’t reverse your age.
what about using hcg to keep dhea and pregnenolone up ? Using test will deregulate the balance with those hormones. I know you goona say use dhea and pregnenolone on its own, but isnt better to let the body regulate itself using hcg to restart the process ?
I was on hcg with my trt and it absolutely kept me fertile as I have an 18 month old and I’ve been on my trt regiment for 7 years now 36 male. I’m now on kisspepten-10 in place of hcg I haven’t noticed a wellness change but I can’t comment on fertility an I had a vasectomy.
Brother I’m living in Asia now and I just went to the fertility specialist. It’s a common practice here to prescribe HCG for anyone coming of TRT with low to zero sperm count. It 100 percent works and is effective I’m not sure why other countries such as USA don’t follow this practice with the HCG already. It seems I read many guys form USA struggling to get prescribed HCG.
I haven't noticed any down regulation..I've used hCG with my TRT for a few years now. The small amount of info out there seems to suggest down regulation at very high doses only ..
HCG is great by itself. No its not the same as TRT but its easier to reboot your hpta from. HCG monotherapy also allows you to continue producing things like DHEA and Pregnenolone from the testis rather than needing to supplement them sith your TRT.

I worked with my countryman vigorous Steve and I wad on steroids for 4 years hard stuff man and did my pct with coach Steve I was at best cold turkey for 3 month 380 when coach was done we ended on 690 and I haven't tested again but feel allot higher and I am loosing fat so must be high
Maybe a coincidence… A few months ago I started a low dose TRT type dose after being on a lot for years prior. I’m 47 and noticed after dropping my dosage and adding 2 new substance (primo and HCG) I suffered from what I thought was retro orgasm. Now I think it’s just reduced volume. Like it’s one little dribble instead of shooting loads. Went to check my prostate. It’s slightly enlarged but normal for my age. What’s going on? I’ve been using 500iu 3X per week with 150mg test and 100mg primo per week.
There are no medically approved uses of steroids for bodybuilding, apart from some medical condition that causes your body not to carry enough lean tissue.

Agreed. I have a cousin used hcg just turned 46 and had a new unexpected baby. Pretty old to have a newby lol but he and his wife are great parents but I swear it was the hcg.
Did the TRT help you stay fit? Did it improve your sex drive? All the youtubers say that it doesn't help increase or maintain muscle but I feel like they're being disingenuous or just being oblivious to the fact.
@@sixtyninemangler - If you had low-T when you started TRT, then yes, it will improve your energy levels, improve sex drive, and help build and/or maintain muscle with proper diet and exercise. I've seen some reports that even those that don't exercise can improve lean muscle on TRT doses. Now, if you already had good natural T-levels and then started a low TRT dose, you could end up at the same level you were naturally, as TRT will suppress your natural production offsetting each other.
@Kelly Nowell I tested my testosterone and it was 1250 5 years ago. After cancer and chemo 5 years later I'm sitting between 400 and 600. I'm 47 and am contemplating getting on trt. My sleep schedule is very erratic due to my job so the moodiness, lack of sex drive, and fatigue is probably due to the lack of sleep and/or low T.

Hey doc it's excellent your still advocating the androgen based Testosterone replacement therapy, but I'm 58 and I'm already on the sarm and PED bandwagon .I think it's the wave of the future of replacing androgen based solutions .besides these weight lifters dying young and contributing to prostate and hair loss ,hands down I trust sarms and PED's getting the same results minus having a higher mortality profile
What is the wave of the future? You're saying peds and sarms should be replacing androgen based solutions. PEDs are androgen-based solutions. PEDs are anabolic steroids. Sarms are not the wonder drug people thought they would be. They shut you down just like PEDs and seem to be weaker anabolically but with many of the same side effects

Let's just assume diet, Lifestyle changes etc have already been done but the need to start TRT is still there. Would you recommend to do Testosterone alongside with hCG? Maybe cycle one or both off every few months for a few weeks to stop the desensitization of hCG? Do you know if there is any data or reports of cycling hCG to prevent the desensitization? Or do you think this is not needed at all and people can just start HCG when they want to have kids? Let's assume this would be in 13-18 years
Sorry you didn’t get a response from the Doc. My interpretation of the video is that he prefers to use the high dose HCG while temporarily stopping Testosterone for guys who are trying to regain fertility and conceive There is a lot of anecdotal evidence that HCG loses effectiveness over time. So it is probably safest to wait until you need it for fertility. I’m not a doctor (at least not of medicine), and this isn’t medical advice, but I hope it helps. Good luck with your TRT!

You make a good point about wanting to prevent atrophy. As for anecdotal claims (maybe evidence is too strong a word lol), most comments I’ve seen on hCG In comments to UA-cam videos and on sites like Excel Male say to cycle it due to risk of down regulation. I’m pretty sure the Doc also mentioned it. However, comments I’ve seen after my initial comment to you stated that only happens at the higher, fertility inducing doses and not at the TRT atrophy prevention dose. Basically, I don’t think there’s a concrete answer. Of course, the Doc’s opinion would be much more educated and valuable than mine. I was just advising caution unless you hear otherwise from someone who is qualified to give that advice. I’m past wanting kids. So, I can throw caution to the wind.
I'm over 40 and go thru Veteran Affairs (VA) for my healthcare and have been referred to Endocrinology for low testosterone after 3 blood tests. Blood work showed low RBC; low LH; low testosterone (total); low % free testosterone (dialysis); low testosterone, serum (total); low free testosterone, serum. I'm seeing different results being posted online for vets going thru the VA for TRT. Any guidance on what I should be expecting the VA doc to talk to me about and what I should be asking them?
You will have a hard time with the VA, you have to prove "why" you need TRT. If you're in a good clinic then RUN with it and let them pay for it. My last test I was at 265 (2 weeks ago) and the VA/my primary Dr said I was within standards. Reach out to me away from this page and we can talk offline......but this Dr is AMAZING!!!!!

I was watching at your episode with hgh and hearing about that method of takeing the stuff from black market who could be hgh but also countefied hcg. Now...i bought here a hcg (Pregnyl) and i have doubts about it.I took only about 1/10 from something who pretend to be 5000UI hcg.After about 20 h the pregnancy test was negative.I'm thinking maybe the dose was too small.The test could detect urine from a body which blood concentration was at least 20UI/ml. Now, the big question for you, Doc : How much hcg should i inject, to be sure, at, if it is hcg for real and not chalk, the test will suposed to be positive? Thank you in advance, Doc!
Reedit : The second day, i just combine all that chalk dust from another "Pregnyl" vial with 1ml phisiological serum.After that i pure this substance directly on another pregn test!Also negative! For me is too much clear i spent a lot of money on chalk powder.
Was on opiates and trt my sperm count was extremely low, got on the Hcg made my boys grow back to regular size and normal count. I would use this alone small dose 2x week 250mg to maintain testicle size.
I’ve been on TRT for three years, just recently started on Enclomiphen 25mg a day and HCG 50 IU a week for hypogonadism split up in 10IU a day for 5 days), and continuing to take TRT 1ml a week as well. So far I feel fine but need some input on this protocol.
Brother so your doing this to increase your sperm yes? It seems your HCG is so very low. Mr fertility Dr has me on 5000 IU per week total. Yours is only 50 IU per week.
My doctor prescribed me 100 mg injected once per month of cypionate. I start Wednesday next week . This sounds like extremely low dose and I’m worried I’ll feel like crap with the half life.
Get a new dr. Mine did the Same thing and it made my numbers crash even worse then it already was. The half life is like 7 days. I’ve been on TRT for 16 years. I feel best taking my shot once every 6 days. That’s my sweet spot. Once a month will be a horrible experience. Dr needs to learn more.
@@badass1g I live in Canada our healthcare really sucks I’ waited 3 months to get In for blood test to figure out why my red blood cell count is so low. Finally figured out my test is low not my B12 after I waited 2 more months for results. Then I needed to wait 1 month to see my doctor for first shot and to be show. Where to inject. Now I’m worried to start this if it’s going to make me worse

Just have your dr give you a script and tell him you’ll dose yourself at home it’s very easy. At first I had to go to the dr every time for a jab, way to big of a hassle. You can go to many places online to get TRT and they’ll give you what you actually need. A once a month shot will make things worse…
Can you use HCG to regain testicle size after your testicles are atrophy. I started TRT 8 months ago and my testicles shrank to almost 1/3rd of its original size. I actually had my doctor prescribe me HCG and my dose is .5 ml of TRT with 1ml of HCG weekly. My testicles after 3 months have not changed and I wonder if my dose is wrong.
I just seen fertility Dr last week. I’m coming off TRT completely and on HCG 5000IU per week with nolvadex. She told me I could stay on TRT while taking the HCG but she basically said everybody response different to that. In her experience majority of men who do TRT with HCG still produce zero to small volume of sperm and the process of building the sperm is much slower so she recommends coming off the TRT completely. It’s the only way the body can fully recover and start the process of building the sperm without being constantly affected with the TRT. I’m only 2 weeks of the test. The HCG has definitely made me feel mentally off and low at times but I guess that’s my body getting all the correct hormones started again.

i restarted HCG after being on TRT for 1+ year. first week I felt good, libido went up a bit, sensation improved, but then I got massive anxiety and felt lousy. wondering if my T got too high and/or E2 got too high. 200mg/week cypionate, which is a high dose, but my labs on that dose are something like 500ng/dl total T, 20free. also low SHBG
If you do 200 mg/week of T and your labs are 500 Ng/dl there Is something wrong. Is your T Pharm grade? If not can be underdosed. injections frequency? Probabile your labs are done too far the injection day/ increase frequency... and so on. Your anxiety improved because of High E2 mainly from hcg. Either you need to decrease your T dose while on hcg or get some aromasin.

@@llame_az protocol and quality are ok. Very strange never heard of such a low response to that high TRT dose. I get over 1000 Ng/dl on 150 mg Test a week, protocol EOD. On hcg i tried to lower the T dose to 100 mg but i did not feel good. The sweet spot for me was mantain the test at 150/week and ise 12,5 mg aromasin twice a week (only while on hcg)
Doc, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. 😭 I have panhypopituitarism since I was a young child and I found out years ago that I should have been on hCG. But instead, I was put on testosterone gel. I know that suppresses, but I don't make any testosterone on my own. Years ago, my doctor prescribed me high doses of hCG. But it means I have to completely stop taking TRT, or it can interact. But when I stop taking TRT, it means I have no testosterone, thus my desires go away and honestly, I feel like complete shit. My gf and I are trying to conceive. I've dropped my test dose from 1 ml twice a week to now just 50 mgs twice a week. Been on hcg in conjuction with test now for almost 3 months. Currently injecting hcg 3 times a week at 1666 IU'S. My first semen analysis without hcg and on 1 ml test twice a week was 2 million. Mid March I'll be doing another semen analysis to see where my numbers are. I'll also be adding FSH injections as well. There are docs out there such as Lipschultz and rand McClain who advise to lower your trt dose while upping your hcg and adding fsh. Who wants to get off trt completely and feel horrible? That is something you need to talk to whomever is prescribing your testosterone. However if you are experiencing those symptoms, I don't see why your doc wouldn't write a script for hcg. You don't need as much as im taking, however.
It takes 72-90 days to see changes because of how the sperm production works, so you should be able to see whether your new protocol works or not on your next SA. It's possible the lower dosage of testosterone alone will make a big difference. I was personally able to conceive 3 daughters while on ~150mg Test Cyp/week, without the help of hCG. Best of luck!
I'm curious what the data is behind not using HCG only as TRT. You mentioned several times in this video that noone does that but I know people who do and feel great. I'm assuming there are health risks to extended HCG only use?
Hcg is simply NOT trt. 2 totally different things. Hcg provides zero Benefits to health or fitness. There is not 1 single study that shows it does anything outside of fertility and atrophy. Literally not 1 . A natural testosterone boost of a few hundred points is still not going to optimize you and its a secreatgogue so you have no way of controlling the amount produced and released into the blood stream. Hcg is literally only good for fertility and combating testicular atrophy in the rare event that it occurs.
Anyone has input as far as expiration after you reconstitute hcg. Usually it comes in 5k iu vials. When you inject 1.5k a week it's gonna last 3 weeks. Will it still be valuable after 2 weeks if of course refrigerated and reconstitution with bac water . Anyone?
It’s brand dependent. Pregnyl is the best, it keeps true potency for about 60 days. I’ve tried other brands and even though they say 60 days, their potency starts to go down much sooner. What I actually do is freeze the syringes after I fill them with hcg and they stay potent for as long as the expiration was on the bottle before reconstituting which is usually like a year or more. This is safe and has been done before
Doc, great content. I’d be interested to hear about enclomiphene & HCG vs clomid and HCG and how that affects spermatogenesis and endogenous Test production in someone coming off of a year long TRT protocol and what the time frames look like. Have not been able to find any direct data on that but thought you may have some anecdotal cases.
I'm running TRT. I'm 35. I have run cycles before and am now running test cyp every 7 days. I've tried 100mg, 125, 150mg, 200mg and my sex drive is still very low. Has anybody else been having this issue? I remember running cycles years ago and feeling very horny when I was blasting and my libido was still good when cruising on test at around 250mg per week. I don't think it's my estrogen. I've tried Armidex at 0.5 twice a week. I've tried 0.25mg eod and once per week. Can anyone offer any advice/experience? Thank you in advance.
I think this is because your total t levels maybe high but your free t levels are crashed low worth researching it happens if u have used gear for a long periods over time can be reversed easily

I am 36 years old and normally do a cycle of testosterone once every summer (usually 250mg of test a week for 12 weeks). Recently I had my testosterone checked (6 months after finishing my last cycle) and it is on the lower range of normal at 12ng/L and have a pretty low sex drive. My question is, would taking HCG for a few weeks or months boost and optimise my natural production? And if so, would it do so permanently or would the effects disappear as soon as I discontinue taking HCG? Thanks for all your help and advice Doc.
Excuse me doctor I've been on trt with hcg for 4 years and I would never use test without hcg and let my balls shrink. I'm 46 years old and without hcg my sex drive is greatly diminished
@tatankablanca7724 no I haven't. I've actually been able to reduce it slightly. Watch your systolic blood pressure. Hcg will mimic thyroid hormone and stimulate the thyroid. It does this to pregnant woman and seemed to do this to me.
I’ve used Test Cyp for probably 20 years rarely cycling off. Definite testicular shrinkage so should I being using HCG while on Test to increase testicular size and semen volume ?

Good blood work . For me if I don’t have HCG I won’t take testosterone .. I like to have balls and sperm in my sex life
I just did a 7 day water fast and regained my sense of smell and food tastes better. I hadn't completely lost my sense of smell but it was mostly gone.

I just started TRT with HCG last Monday (2 days ago). I did an online clinic because my test levels were 243. I told the dr I don't care about having kids or the size of my nuts. So he still prescribed me HCG. I wonder if he was just trying to sell me drugs or if there's a benefit idk about. I thought of just not taking the HCG. Because how do you know how the testosterone is working if you're throwing more than testosterone in the body?
Probably just to keep your balls from atrophying. But I imagine it’s a nice boost in addition to your TRT, and it’s probably justified that way so the doc makes more as well (if / when it’s compounded….there have been some issues / legal stuff with compounding it recently). Anyhow, I’m sure docs look at it as a win-win….good for you overall and more money in the pocket for them.
My advice : use it only if you notice your balls are atrophying too much and it would be bothering you . HCG won't make you feel any better if not worse because it raises estrogen levels.
I do HCG every 10 days during cycle. Maintenance like. And I use it to “step off” every 6-7 months for 3-4months.

What's the reasoning for coming off trt and using huge doses of hcg? I have been on trt for over 15 years and had essentially 0 sperm count. Added in 200iu hcg / day with hmg 75iu twice weekly and my wife was wife was pregnant within 6 months

I’m 41 too and it’s been a life changer. I could care less about fertility obviously. I’ve got two kids that are adults now and I’m gay. Hcg seems like a lot of hype unless you’re doing steroid cycles and not on trt. I doubt it’s worth it. People new to trt should just mess with high doses and learn for themselves that minimal is better. And doctors should be more willing to try patients on trt.

Yes. I take about 400iu every three days with my shot of test. My thinking was it’s maintaining my testicular function, but maybe that’s pseudoscience

I'm starting TRT this week because my T levels are 160 and Free T was at 4. Overall I feel like crap and it took me 6 years to figure out that this is the cause. Most doctors tell you that your fine if your levels are anywhere close to the normal range and that was the case for me 5 years ago when my T levels were 340. I'm 57 years old and I think I'm going to skip the HCG for now and focus on getting my T levels dialed in first. Not to worried about the size of my balls right now. Just want to feel good again

My levels are very similar to yours, just lower total T and a little higher free T. I have been started on that same exact regimen you are describing. Was 100mg of Testosterone Cypionate weekly enough or did they adjust up after a while? I just started a week ago so I thought I'd ask you since you've been on it for longer.

If you want to maintain fertility I would recommend freezing sperm before starting TRT. Depending on your age HCG can only do so much. It can’t reverse your age.
what about using hcg to keep dhea and pregnenolone up ? Using test will deregulate the balance with those hormones. I know you goona say use dhea and pregnenolone on its own, but isnt better to let the body regulate itself using hcg to restart the process ?

I was on hcg with my trt and it absolutely kept me fertile as I have an 18 month old and I’ve been on my trt regiment for 7 years now 36 male. I’m now on kisspepten-10 in place of hcg I haven’t noticed a wellness change but I can’t comment on fertility an I had a vasectomy.

Brother I’m living in Asia now and I just went to the fertility specialist.
It’s a common practice here to prescribe HCG for anyone coming of TRT with low to zero sperm count. It 100 percent works and is effective I’m not sure why other countries such as USA don’t follow this practice with the HCG already. It seems I read many guys form USA struggling to get prescribed HCG.
I haven't noticed any down regulation..I've used hCG with my TRT for a few years now. The small amount of info out there seems to suggest down regulation at very high doses only ..

HCG is great by itself. No its not the same as TRT but its easier to reboot your hpta from. HCG monotherapy also allows you to continue producing things like DHEA and Pregnenolone from the testis rather than needing to supplement them sith your TRT.
Curious how for example vigourous steve keeps his fertility perfectly fine on trt plus hcg and chase Irons on the other hand had to put in hmg with hcg to feel any improvement

A few months ago I started a low dose TRT type dose after being on a lot for years prior. I’m 47 and noticed after dropping my dosage and adding 2 new substance (primo and HCG) I suffered from what I thought was retro orgasm. Now I think it’s just reduced volume. Like it’s one little dribble instead of shooting loads. Went to check my prostate. It’s slightly enlarged but normal for my age.
What’s going on?
I’ve been using 500iu 3X per week with 150mg test and 100mg primo per week.
I use all those substances at higher doses and never had a problem like that

There are no medically approved uses of steroids for bodybuilding, apart from some medical condition that causes your body not to carry enough lean tissue.

Did the TRT help you stay fit? Did it improve your sex drive? All the youtubers say that it doesn't help increase or maintain muscle but I feel like they're being disingenuous or just being oblivious to the fact.
@@sixtyninemangler - If you had low-T when you started TRT, then yes, it will improve your energy levels, improve sex drive, and help build and/or maintain muscle with proper diet and exercise. I've seen some reports that even those that don't exercise can improve lean muscle on TRT doses. Now, if you already had good natural T-levels and then started a low TRT dose, you could end up at the same level you were naturally, as TRT will suppress your natural production offsetting each other.
@Kelly Nowell I tested my testosterone and it was 1250 5 years ago. After cancer and chemo 5 years later I'm sitting between 400 and 600. I'm 47 and am contemplating getting on trt. My sleep schedule is very erratic due to my job so the moodiness, lack of sex drive, and fatigue is probably due to the lack of sleep and/or low T.

Hey doc it's excellent your still advocating the androgen based Testosterone replacement therapy, but I'm 58 and I'm already on the sarm and PED bandwagon .I think it's the wave of the future of replacing androgen based solutions .besides these weight lifters dying young and contributing to prostate and hair loss ,hands down I trust sarms and PED's getting the same results minus having a higher mortality profile

Sarms are not the wonder drug people thought they would be. They shut you down just like PEDs and seem to be weaker anabolically but with many of the same side effects

So what would you do if you're 23 and want to start TRT but maintain fertility or want to have children later. Let's just assume diet, Lifestyle changes etc have already been done but the need to start TRT is still there.
Would you recommend to do Testosterone alongside with hCG? Maybe cycle one or both off every few months for a few weeks to stop the desensitization of hCG?
Do you know if there is any data or reports of cycling hCG to prevent the desensitization?
Or do you think this is not needed at all and people can just start HCG when they want to have kids?

Sorry you didn’t get a response from the Doc. My interpretation of the video is that he prefers to use the high dose HCG while temporarily stopping Testosterone for guys who are trying to regain fertility and conceive There is a lot of anecdotal evidence that HCG loses effectiveness over time. So it is probably safest to wait until you need it for fertility. I’m not a doctor (at least not of medicine), and this isn’t medical advice, but I hope it helps. Good luck with your TRT!

You make a good point about wanting to prevent atrophy. As for anecdotal claims (maybe evidence is too strong a word lol), most comments I’ve seen on hCG In comments to UA-cam videos and on sites like Excel Male say to cycle it due to risk of down regulation. I’m pretty sure the Doc also mentioned it. However, comments I’ve seen after my initial comment to you stated that only happens at the higher, fertility inducing doses and not at the TRT atrophy prevention dose. Basically, I don’t think there’s a concrete answer. Of course, the Doc’s opinion would be much more educated and valuable than mine. I was just advising caution unless you hear otherwise from someone who is qualified to give that advice. I’m past wanting kids. So, I can throw caution to the wind.

I'm over 40 and go thru Veteran Affairs (VA) for my healthcare and have been referred to Endocrinology for low testosterone after 3 blood tests. Blood work showed low RBC; low LH; low testosterone (total); low % free testosterone (dialysis); low testosterone, serum (total); low free testosterone, serum. I'm seeing different results being posted online for vets going thru the VA for TRT. Any guidance on what I should be expecting the VA doc to talk to me about and what I should be asking them?
You will have a hard time with the VA, you have to prove "why" you need TRT. If you're in a good clinic then RUN with it and let them pay for it. My last test I was at 265 (2 weeks ago) and the VA/my primary Dr said I was within standards. Reach out to me away from this page and we can talk offline......but this Dr is AMAZING!!!!!

Now...i bought here a hcg (Pregnyl) and i have doubts about it.I took only about 1/10 from something who pretend to be 5000UI hcg.After about 20 h the pregnancy test was negative.I'm thinking maybe the dose was too small.The test could detect urine from a body which blood concentration was at least 20UI/ml.
Now, the big question for you, Doc : How much hcg should i inject, to be sure, at, if it is hcg for real and not chalk, the test will suposed to be positive?

Reedit : The second day, i just combine all that chalk dust from another "Pregnyl" vial with 1ml phisiological serum.After that i pure this substance directly on another pregn test!Also negative! For me is too much clear i spent a lot of money on chalk powder.
Was on opiates and trt my sperm count was extremely low, got on the Hcg made my boys grow back to regular size and normal count. I would use this alone small dose 2x week 250mg to maintain testicle size.

I’ve been on TRT for three years, just recently started on Enclomiphen 25mg a day and HCG 50 IU a week for hypogonadism split up in 10IU a day for 5 days), and continuing to take TRT 1ml a week as well. So far I feel fine but need some input on this protocol.

My doctor prescribed me 100 mg injected once per month of cypionate. I start Wednesday next week . This sounds like extremely low dose and I’m worried I’ll feel like crap with the half life.
Get a new dr. Mine did the Same thing and it made my numbers crash even worse then it already was. The half life is like 7 days. I’ve been on TRT for 16 years. I feel best taking my shot once every 6 days. That’s my sweet spot. Once a month will be a horrible experience. Dr needs to learn more.

Finally figured out my test is low not my B12 after I waited 2 more months for results. Then I needed to wait 1 month to see my doctor for first shot and to be show. Where to inject. Now I’m worried to start this if it’s going to make me worse

Just have your dr give you a script and tell him you’ll dose yourself at home it’s very easy. At first I had to go to the dr every time for a jab, way to big of a hassle. You can go to many places online to get TRT and they’ll give you what you actually need. A once a month shot will make things worse…

Can you use HCG to regain testicle size after your testicles are atrophy. I started TRT 8 months ago and my testicles shrank to almost 1/3rd of its original size. I just seen fertility Dr last week.
I’m coming off TRT completely and on HCG 5000IU per week with nolvadex.
She told me I could stay on TRT while taking the HCG but she basically said everybody response different to that. In her experience majority of men who do TRT with HCG still produce zero to small volume of sperm and the process of building the sperm is much slower so she recommends coming off the TRT completely. It’s the only way the body can fully recover and start the process of building the sperm without being constantly affected with the TRT.
I’m only 2 weeks of the test. The HCG has definitely made me feel mentally off and low at times but I guess that’s my body getting all the correct hormones started again.

i restarted HCG after being on TRT for 1+ year. first week I felt good, libido went up a bit, sensation improved, but then I got massive anxiety and felt lousy. wondering if my T got too high and/or E2 got too high. 200mg/week cypionate, which is a high dose, but my labs on that dose are something like 500ng/dl total T, 20free. also low SHBG
If you do 200 mg/week of T and your labs are 500 Ng/dl there Is something wrong. Is your T Pharm grade? If not can be underdosed. injections frequency? Probabile your labs are done too far the injection day/ increase frequency... and so on. Your anxiety improved because of High E2 mainly from hcg. Either you need to decrease your T dose while on hcg or get some aromasin.

@@llame_az protocol and quality are ok. Very strange never heard of such a low response to that high TRT dose. I get over 1000 Ng/dl on 150 mg Test a week, protocol EOD. On hcg i tried to lower the T dose to 100 mg but i did not feel good. The sweet spot for me was mantain the test at 150/week and ise 12,5 mg aromasin twice a week (only while on hcg)

Doc, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. 😭 I have panhypopituitarism since I was a young child and I found out years ago that I should have been on hCG. But instead, I was put on testosterone gel. I know that suppresses, but I don't make any testosterone on my own. Years ago, my doctor prescribed me high doses of hCG. But it means I have to completely stop taking TRT, or it can interact. But when I stop taking TRT, it means I have no testosterone, thus my desires go away and honestly, I feel like complete shit. My gf and I are trying to conceive. I've dropped my test dose from 1 ml twice a week to now just 50 mgs twice a week. Been on hcg in conjuction with test now for almost 3 months. Currently injecting hcg 3 times a week at 1666 IU'S.
My first semen analysis without hcg and on 1 ml test twice a week was 2 million. Mid March I'll be doing another semen analysis to see where my numbers are. I'll also be adding FSH injections as well.
There are docs out there such as Lipschultz and rand McClain who advise to lower your trt dose while upping your hcg and adding fsh. Who wants to get off trt completely and feel horrible? Fingers crossed my numbers have shot up
I been on test for 20 years. 1ML every 6 days. I have testicular shrinkage and minimal semen volume. If I go to twice a week Test .50 what would u recommend ? HCG and clomid together with my 2x a week test dosage? Looking for help thank u
That is something you need to talk to whomever is prescribing your testosterone. However if you are experiencing those symptoms, I don't see why your doc wouldn't write a script for hcg. You don't need as much as im taking, however.

It takes 72-90 days to see changes because of how the sperm production works, so you should be able to see whether your new protocol works or not on your next SA. It's possible the lower dosage of testosterone alone will make a big difference. I was personally able to conceive 3 daughters while on ~150mg Test Cyp/week, without the help of hCG. Best of luck!
Taking clomid with test cypionate
I'm curious what the data is behind not using HCG only as TRT. You mentioned several times in this video that noone does that but I know people who do and feel great. I'm assuming there are health risks to extended HCG only use?
Hcg is simply NOT trt. 2 totally different things. Hcg provides zero Benefits to health or fitness. There is not 1 single study that shows it does anything outside of fertility and atrophy. Literally not 1 . A natural testosterone boost of a few hundred points is still not going to optimize you and its a secreatgogue so you have no way of controlling the amount produced and released into the blood stream. Hcg is literally only good for fertility and combating testicular atrophy in the rare event that it occurs.

Anyone has input as far as expiration after you reconstitute hcg. Usually it comes in 5k iu vials. When you inject 1.5k a week it's gonna last 3 weeks. Will it still be valuable after 2 weeks if of course refrigerated and reconstitution with bac water . Anyone?

It will last at least 30-60 days once reconstituted. Everyone who says otherwise should cite a study or source. So many people are full of shit
The insert that came with mine said it was good for up to 30 days after reconstitution.
It’s brand dependent. Pregnyl is the best, it keeps true potency for about 60 days. I’ve tried other brands and even though they say 60 days, their potency starts to go down much sooner. What I actually do is freeze the syringes after I fill them with hcg and they stay potent for as long as the expiration was on the bottle before reconstituting which is usually like a year or more. This is safe and has been done before
Doc, great content. I’d be interested to hear about enclomiphene & HCG vs clomid and HCG and how that affects spermatogenesis and endogenous Test production in someone coming off of a year long TRT protocol and what the time frames look like. Have not been able to find any direct data on that but thought you may have some anecdotal cases.

I'm running TRT. I'm 35. I have run cycles before and am now running test cyp every 7 days. I've tried 100mg, 125, 150mg, 200mg and my sex drive is still very low. Has anybody else been having this issue? I remember running cycles years ago and feeling very horny when I was blasting and my libido was still good when cruising on test at around 250mg per week. I don't think it's my estrogen. I've tried Armidex at 0.5 twice a week. I've tried 0.25mg eod and once per week. Can anyone offer any advice/experience? Thank you in advance.
I think this is because your total t levels maybe high but your free t levels are crashed low worth researching it happens if u have used gear for a long periods over time can be reversed easily

I am 36 years old and normally do a cycle of testosterone once every summer (usually 250mg of test a week for 12 weeks).
Recently I had my testosterone checked (6 months after finishing my last cycle) and it is on the lower range of normal at 12ng/L and have a pretty low sex drive.
My question is, would taking HCG for a few weeks or months boost and optimise my natural production? And if so, would it do so permanently or would the effects disappear as soon as I discontinue taking HCG?

Can you use HCG IM?
Obviously yes. But the absorbtion time will be a bit different probably. Try both and stick with what you feel better

I inject subcutaneous daily 0.08ml sustanon and 100iu of hcg.
12.5mg Proviron daily
5iu hgh eod

@tatankablanca7724 no I haven't. I've actually been able to reduce it slightly. Watch your systolic blood pressure. Hcg will mimic thyroid hormone and stimulate the thyroid. It does this to pregnant woman and seemed to do this to me.
I’ve used Test Cyp for probably 20 years rarely cycling off. Definite testicular shrinkage so should I being using HCG while on Test to increase testicular size and semen volume ?
Yessss… start at 250iu eod and see what it doest ,, raise to 500iu if you don’t feel a result .. Me I inject more before the weekend 😉

@@jg1000c I’m 59 so weekly I use 300 mg cypionate, 300 mg undecanoate, 150 mg masteron , 150 Primobolan , HCG between 500-1,000 iu ,, gw501516 all years around non stop but moduling dosage . Good blood work . For me if I don’t have HCG I won’t take testosterone .. I like to have balls and sperm in my sex life
hi doc ,do you have a cure for no taste and smell due to covit, , been 2 and half years now .
I just did a 7 day water fast and regained my sense of smell and food tastes better. I hadn't completely lost my sense of smell but it was mostly gone.

YES! watching how I blasted all over the "place" in less than a month was shocking, I used what I talked about the other day, and although it actually took about 5 weeks for my volume to double, I just go'ogled Jan Venstaker's Shooting Ropes and her reaction has been priceless!
Always puzzled me why bodybuilders use hcg. Women produce it when they become pregnant.
I just started TRT with HCG last Monday (2 days ago). I did an online clinic because my test levels were 243. I told the dr I don't care about having kids or the size of my nuts. So he still prescribed me HCG. I wonder if he was just trying to sell me drugs or if there's a benefit idk about. I thought of just not taking the HCG. Because how do you know how the testosterone is working if you're throwing more than testosterone in the body?
Probably just to keep your balls from atrophying. But I imagine it’s a nice boost in addition to your TRT, and it’s probably justified that way so the doc makes more as well (if / when it’s compounded….there have been some issues / legal stuff with compounding it recently). Anyhow, I’m sure docs look at it as a win-win….good for you overall and more money in the pocket for them.
My advice : use it only if you notice your balls are atrophying too much and it would be bothering you . HCG won't make you feel any better if not worse because it raises estrogen levels.
