Steroids have been a game-changer in my fitness routine, providing the extra edge I needed to advance more rapidly. When used with careful planning and consideration for overall health, they can be a powerful tool for anyone serious about reaching their peak potential.
Test Enan is commonly used in hormone replacement therapy to address low testosterone levels, promoting muscle growth and improving overall well-being. Tren, on the other hand, greatly enhances muscle size and strength. Speeds up recovery from injuries as well.
Totally agree. Steroids helped me recover faster and maintain muscle mass, especially during intense training or after injury. It's amazing how they can support bone health as well, which is crucial for people with conditions like osteoporosis.
There’s no doubt to the benefits of steroids. Honestly, it has greatly impacted my life. It played a major role in achieving my desired physique. People should learn not to abuse these substances and act like they are all bad.
Hey everyone, I’m looking for reliable sources for both steroids and protein supplements. I know it’s crucial to be cautious with these, especially with steroids, so I want to make sure I’m getting them from trustworthy sources. For protein supplements, I’m also interested in recommendations for reputable brands. Any suggestions or advice on where to find safe and high quality options?
I want to thank you for all you do and your videos. Been on trt for a while and struggled with hematocrit and elevated rbc. Now been micro dosing EOD and I’ve never felt better. All my bloodwork is in point now and I feel this is now sustainable for my life. Thank you.
can i check back on ya in a few more years after pinning for 1095 days divided by EOD 2 equals 500 and change injections into muscle. 547 injections. From experience, if you are truly low in T a patch or gel works way better without the highs and lows and PIP that always becomes somewhat painful when you've been injecting into muscle for a long time. Injecting is a novelty until you don't want it anymore. Then what, navigate coming off? Coming off TRT is more painful than going on.
Thank you so much Doc for this presentation. I was on .8ml = 200mg of enanthate once every 6-8 days pending work, and I have been feeling great. I've just reduced it to 0.6ml = 150mg every 6 -8 days just to see if I can get away with a lower dose. I'm self-directed as the doctor in Australia only treat TRT based on blood work numbers and not symptoms so these presentations are really helpful. Thankyou again.
I find that too much reduces sex drive & causes side effects. 150mg/week is enough for me. I think it puts my test at 1000 at a minimum which is plenty. What is your blood work the morning before injection?
@bryanutility9609 150mg/week is what I'm currently on. I haven't done blood work yet as this is week one of the reduced dose. I'm baseing the dose on symptoms more than trying to achieve a number. I didn't have any negative sides on 200mg/week. Actually, it was the best I've felt in a long time. I just want to find my lowest effective dose.
@@25Alpha it’s good to know what the level is morning of, it’s lowest level. Please reply again when you get it I’m curious. The issue with levels also is cholesterol & red blood cells. I have taken 450/week and you bet felt great haha
definetely !get your bloods done !!!! i train guys on the gold coast and i know 4-5 different doctors who will prescribe TRT whether its numbers /symtoms or anything related to helping people feel better..but the doctors and my approach look at diet/exercise/mental health 1st before gear as i get guys increasing fat ,lower sugar/carbs or remove them altogether /fasting / supplements /improving their mental health and you see guys symtoms dissapear without needing test in the 1st place. To not go through the process and "guess" without a reference range and knowledge of what else is happening to your body / mind will eventually cause an imbalance within you causing you stress within you that you didnt need ontop of everything else your going through..
My last blood work I did came back at 1016ng/dl, that was the day after my shot of 40mg cypionate. Lowered it down to 30mg twice wkly and I feel good ,good energy , and I don't worry about side effects.
Why would you draw blood the day after your shot? Supposed to do it the day of injection but not Inject before the test. This gives you a low read furthest time out from your last shot. Numbers won’t be as high but your free test will be more ideal.
I'm 60 and did the D-bol test back in the 80s when it was literally OTC. Never mega dosed and started back in the 2000's when Signature Pharmacy in Orlando was dolling it out like candy. I stopped when they went bust. I'm now on TRT 150mg every other week. When water retention and apnea start, I throttle back.
We will hang in there for you Doc, no matter how complicated, you have a great way of giving us the info and breaking it down to basics so it can be understood! Also just as important, the complicated stuff helps me learn the why and the how of things, which for me is great because I value increasing my knowledge in all things in life.

I am 61, been on TRT for 7 years, my stack is Test C 250 a week subq 5 times a week. I also take Provibol 25 mg twice a day. If I am cutting for a beach or boat vacation, I add Anavar 10 mg twice a day for 6 weeks prior to the trip.
I started one week ago and am on the 3.5 day split. Sunday morning, Wednesday evening. Seems pretty simple to me (?). Even after one week (200mg/week btw) I’m feeling lighter on my feet and sleeping better.
200 is about twice normal trt. Not crazy high by any means but will likely put you above normal range. I’ve found I’m definitely better in the gym around 200, but overall I feel better at 100 / week test cypionate. Something nobody tells you is that your balls will start hurting a little about 3 months in as they shut down. It’s not bad, but it can be annoying. Good luck my friend.

This is one hell of a good Dr! I wish I could afford him. I’ve been on it going on 2nd year, .35-.4 every 4days works pretty good, other meds are knocking the best of it down!
This is a long one but hopefully informative… Unfortunately for me I used to be obese and had taken a few Anavar only cycles when I was in my early 20s and losing weight… fast forward 4-5 years learning about testosterone and struggling to retain muscle I hopped on a cycle of TTM, checked my bloods afterwards and was at 9.78nMol, not sure what the conversion is in the states, but this is extremely low… I left it 6 months all natural and checked again, to my dissatisfaction my levels had in fact dropped slightly. I took the decision to self administer TRT at the age of 28 and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done, I dose at .3 every 5 days of test Cyp 250mg… watching these videos has helped me so so much in my journey, I have suffered with some Gyno when blasting at only 250mg per week I was taking an Arimidex every single day! I’m now free of any anti oestrogens and my blood work is high normal. I feel strong, energetic and happy. I’ll be a lifer now, only thing I do miss is my balls! They’re like garden peas 😂 thinking of adding in some HCG to get those baby’s back. Hope this info helps anyone who needs any info. Stay lean gents, and always be kind 🙂

For acne, first look into your hygienic habits. When do you shower? Morning or Night? Showering at night can help so you are not sleeping in body oil. How often do you wash your sheets? Do you sleep with your face in your pillow? When I am on Tren I have to shower twice a day, at night to wash of the oils and scrub my skin and in the morning to wash the sweat off, and I have to wash my sheets every few days(wearing a shirt at night can help this too). If you have great hygiene, then take a look at what products you are using, what type of body wash, what type of exfoliate, what type of detergent? Are you changing your clothes often enough? Lastly, maybe look into accutane or another prescription, it is tough on your liver so you want to minimize the time you are on it, but accutane can permanently lower the amount of oil your skin produces.
@@jeremybarber5490 yeah, I knew 1 guy at bootcamp that got a script for it. But other than that 1 guy, no. Because most of the time the issue is a matter of hygiene.
I take 50 mg per week. I used to cycle 600-700 mg and tried many other compounds, if I take more than 60-70 mg per week my sleep goes to CRAP and I start having bladder issues where I feel like I have to pee all the time. I feel amazing on 20 mg every 3rd day believe it or not. It seems too low! But I feel great and sleep through the whole night now instead of like crap.
Yeh interesting how lowering the dosage makes us feel better. I was on 200/225 big and bloated, no sex drive and flat at the gym. Dropped to 140/150 feel much better and my face slimmed up big time.
Im trying to find people that can relate. I started taking trt for my first 3 mnths and i felt great, but at about 3 1/2 mnths i started losing my libido and feeling tired again. Ive been taking 50mg 2xs a week. Have you experienced anything like this?
I do .3ml twice a week SubQ. love it. zero side effects. i’m 60 years old. been doing this for over 10 years. also i have never used any oil. simple no pain with subQ
The doctor I had put me on 250mg of Test cyp every 3 weeks. That was the worst ever! The ups n downs sucked bad. He had no clue about TRT. There are so many general positions that are completely in the dark when it comes to TRT. Thank God for channels like this, that can help men that really need this medicine to help live a happy and strong life.
Seems like these doctors have no idea of the half life this stuff is out of your system in 7 days so 250 mg is a drop in the bucket keep on your labs until your at a proper dose 2x a week will keep your levels stable you won't have the peeks and valleys feeling like shit half the time good luck it's not eazy working with Dr's that don't know what there talking about
About the dosing! Just for clarification. Half an ML every 5 days. That equals to 100mg of testosterone every 5 days? Or 140mg every week? Doses are normally referred to in MGs. Thanks for the great video and appreciate the feedback!
I got on TRT without doing a full fresh blood panel. I felt better for a week then tired again. I saw an Endo and had my cortisol checked. It was low too. Do yourself a favor and get a Full and I mean Full blood workup done as a baseline. Then you can refer back.
Been on Trt since 26 years young 😮. I used to do biwkly injections but my mood swings were terrible! Now I do 250 mg every week and I feel a lot better. I’m 43 now, just had bloodwork done w no issues at all. 😊 Great info Doc!! 👋🥇💉
@@trooper0099 I just do one shot, no splits. Two a week might be better just to keep the blood levels consistent you know obviously if you do one shot you’re going to have that drop towards the end of the week depending on how your test level etc.
My guy 250 a week is not TRT. It's a low cycle. Have you self prescribed 250? Can't see any doctor dosing that high who knows anything about TRT. Not digging you out either buddy... Just facts. TRT really shouldn't go above 150 - 160 a week and that's top end. Maybe 180 for someone with insanely messed up T levels. More isnt always better. Your be surprised what you actually need to run proper TRT and for it to do its job. If you want or need to be on it for the rest of your life and remain healthy you won't be able to on 250
Ah no biggie they will give that to teenage girls who want to pretend to be a man right after a visit to planned parenthood. So must be safe for a grown man... Kidding lol when I heard some accounts of young women who regret transitioning as a teenager I remember thinking wow that’s insane even for a grown man.
I’ve done all of the different frequencies of injections and you’re right in the money with E5-7 days. 5 is definitely better though. No need for E, EOD injections. I’ve been doing this way too long to deal with that. Great info as always Doc!
I have a significant mood swing after five days from injection. My doctor moved my injections to the sixth day to try to counteract it. He also increased my dosage by 20%. Hope this helps me.
The feel is what is the hardest for me. 200-300mg makes me feel the best. But it's like I'm too alpha. Kind of like how anger feels good because you feel so powerful but it's not a good thing. 140 makes me a chill happy adult and the best version of myself for raising little girls. Since lowering my dose years ago my little girl still makes comments about how much smaller I am. Little shit. Lol.
No such thing as too alpha lol. 300mg is a cycle not TRT. Also if 300 gives you anger issues you sir have anger issues regardless of the test. Roid rage is almost always a fallacy. Testosterone just emphasizes who you are already so you may need to look at your anger issues. Don't talk about too alpha until you are talking about 1000mg+ per week of test lol. In addition to a kitchen sink of other anabolic substances. I'm not sure you realize how much gear a lot of guys are pushing out there. Not saying that's good at all. But if 300mg is making you feel you have anger issues it's not the test my friend, it's you. Not a hater by the way, all good my brother. Just speaking from years of experience.
You are doing God´s work by educating people on how to make their bodies stronger, feel better, and, most important, healthier. I´m glad we are slowly getting more and more men to quit the old idea created by the media that "steroids are bad" and understanding that, as long as the dose is what YOU need, they help your body as a whole. Your bone density increases, your muscles work better, you recover faster from injuries (even those that are not related to weight lifting). It really improves your quality of life.
Some guys may need a higher or lower dose, but injecting every 4-5 days is perfect. Once a week works great as well, but it makes me a bit more prone to acne and hairloss. Injecting every day or two works great, but it’s pointless unless you’re very sensitive to the hormones (including guys with very low SHBG). The downside of frequent dosing is that you are more prone to developing scar tissue (I would spread injections out to as many sites as possible).
Without listening first. What worked for me is to start very low 40 maybe 50 mgs per week. Then increase slowly until you feel good and have good sex drive. I arrived at 70 mgs per week. Yes higher doses will give you more strength more muscle etc... but will also give you more side effects. So I personally inject 70 mgs of Testosterone Cypionate once per week and all is well including labs. I realize some might need a higher dose but I do not believe anyone needs even 200 mgs per week. I think quite lower
Have you ever heard of someone taking trt and feeling great for the first 3 mnths but then around 3 1/2 mnths not feeling so great again? Im taking 50mg 2x a week.
@@RickySlatton I've trained in functional medicine for some 10 years and I started TRT and injected 90mg which apparently was too much because my heart started flip flopping around for 5 days. It was scary, but after a trip to the ER they said I was having rows of PVCs and PACs going on at the same time. What I do is inject 30mg every 4th day and that is perfect for me. Depending on what your SHBG is you may consider injecting less and more frequently to prevent the palps. It may be a good idea to check your iron as well as your thyroid because I did find out that I had high thyroid at the time I injected the 90mg so that could have triggered something as well and caused my heart palps. However, I haven't had the guts to inject 90mg again after resolving my thyroid issue because I do have it dialed in now at 30mg every 4th day.
I'm 42, and my issue has been chronic high SHBG. I have taken steroids years ago, and the VA endo suggested I get back on testosterone, as even though my total is normal, my free levels are under the bottom range, and I have been having libido issues. He's willing to prescribe up to 200mg a week, but I have decided, on my own to start low as possible, and every 3 weeks increase the dose by 20mg, until feel horny again, starting at 60mg per week, I'm two weeks in an already having sex dreams and waking up with erections. My guess is as my natural production declines and my body depends on the exogenous testosterone, that 60 quickly won't feel like enough. I'm thinking 80 to 100 will be the sweet spot, but if I feel great at 80 I will stop there. My logic is that the lowest possible dose that gets you horny and rock solid erections is the ideal dose to use.
You have exactly the right attitude which is "the lowest effective dose"; too many guys in these forums are looking for "hormone optimization" which is just another way of saying "the highest possible dose that doesn't kill them". TRT can definitely have negative side effects and they can become serious very quickly if the dose is too high. I also had chronically high SHBG and had some luck taking a supplement called Boron, 6mg per day, along with my TRT and it did lower my SHBG and raise my free T level significantly.
Provirion will bind your shbg and allow your test to work better while possibly allowing weight loss, but making your libido go through the roof. It also suppresses the effects of elevated estradiol
@@26JonnyD Unfortunately it really effects my kidneys, so it isn't a sustainable option. I'd prefer to use proviron, but it isn't approved for use in the USA. So my option is IM testosterone with prescription, and does bring the SHBG down to normal quickly. I don't think it would be a good option for younger guys, but I'm over 40 and done having kids.

Hi Dr. O'Connor - Just a question regarding the various dosages based on injection frequency. For example, 100mg every 5 day equates to roughly 140MG per week. .15 EOD Equates to roughly 105mg per week, and .25 mg 2x per week equates to 100mg weekly. Is there a science as to why there's a variance on the actual amount being injected weekly based on injection frequency?
When I told my endocrinologist I was dosing every other day he rolled his eyes but I have less sides. 120mg a week has me at 500ng/dL and I'm about 225 lbs. Gonna ask him to raise it to 140mg week like the anabolic doc recommended
For those about to start TRT, this is the video I wish I had two years ago when I was looking at taking TRT. I have a good doc at a good practice, and pretty much do everything suggested here except some of the coronary checks. I need to get those. And yes, TRT made a huge difference in the quality of life for me. If you go this route, get informed and get a good doctor. I don't like "clinics" - I just went to a large local urology practice. My only other advice is to get a prescription you can fill at a regular pharmacy. I pay $5/month with insurance, but some places wanted $80. So it pays to be able to shop around.
I have been using trt pump, but since the manufacturer discount had expired for 2023 with insurance its $80 now for me. What insurance do you have, the trt manufacturer you use that is so inexpensive. Your info is definitely appreciated. Or if anyone knows a trt manufacturer that still offers discounts, that would also be helpful. Thanks!!!
@@prvtmanlv I have purchased Test Cyp. from my local pharmacy, but the absolute hands-down cheapest was from Amazon Pharmacy. Yup, they bought an online pharmacy company and it uses your Prime discounts. The Prime cost is cheaper than the after-insurance price from my local pharmacies, and my after-insurance (with Prime) is $5/month. They ship wherever I go (I travel a lot), but are a real pain to get set up at first. They want the script to be written exactly a certain way by the DR, and I spent days going back and forth to get everything exactly correct. This is more a matter of T being a "controlled" medication by the FDA. They just won't play around. If you are looking for a "clinic" that prescribes obscene amounts of T for bodybuilding (does not sound like you), these are not your pharmacists. They look at every script, every time, with a microscope. They just won't play that game. I appreciate it. But once set up, they are easy to use. Their interface needs some work, but it does the job good enough.
@@Ridindirty808If you're going on TRT, there's no reason for PCT. The only time you would do PCT while you're on them TRT is if you're going to stop TRT, but most people go on TRT for life so there's no need for a PCT. @@julioemilioestevezgaviria7789 You are playing symmantics here. TRT is testosterone replacement therapy. My natural T was less than 300 and I felt like I was going to die every day. I believe that precisely because I have low SHBG, I always had problems with TRT. I now realize that my FT was always very high on TRT, I developed lipomastia and severe insulin resistance. When I look at my past scans, my shbg has always been very low. Not only did I gain weight, but I lost all ability to lose weight on TRT, even microdoses, at doses as low as 10mg\day. Great information about dosing Doc. I'm just starting my TRT protocol this week and I was prescribed 200mg , once a week. I'm going to try 100mg every 5 days instead to slowly work my way into to this. With this dosing schedule of 100mg every 5 days, how much am I actually taking per week? My Total T came back at 160 and Estradiol is 13 and Bio Available T was 100. I am 58 years old and been suffering for years with low energy, libido, sleep, a noticeable drop off in overall body strength, depressive moods and brain fog. I hope this helps
@DeltaV I switched over to daily Mico dosing . I inject .15 ml (30ml) every day , sub Q and I find that everything just evened out. No highs or lows anymore and I don't have to worry about estradiol levels doing it this way.
The best advice to any man out there use or no use of steroids absorb and apply his Knowledge thank u Doc I really hope u live a long time to continue advising
Last labs, pinned .5 on Thursday early Monday morning went for labs (fasted) Test 1035, Glucose 91, Estadiol 17, prostate specific AG 0.6 It’s all Greek to me
I feel balanced at 140mg a week so I'm ready to switch over to .5 every 5 days. I put on muscle easy so just trying to keep my test level below 900 so 200mg/week is too much. Can't get too swole and trying to avoid backne.
Hello, I'm in Australia. I have been given 1ml premade shots of Primobolan (250mg) every 10 days, my free test levels around 1000 / 1100. Feel great. However I found out very quickly that I needed Anastrozole due to gyno.
Damn, Doc, I am doing something right. I am a newbie and have been slowly increasing my dose to .03ml twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays, over the past three months.
I'd say the Perfect cycle is every 7 days because of our weekly routine! Injections every Thursday, then you're gold on weekends, say 1000 test on the peaks (weekends). Then by Wednesday, the valley would be around 600, not that bad at all, and super sustainable. Feel free to jack it up to 1200/700.
Great information. I've been debating experimenting with micro dosing everyday with a 27G insulin needle & getting bloodwork done to see if there is enough reward to make it worth doing compared to every 5 days.
I'm on trt prescription of testosterone enanthate at 100mg a week. I microdose 2 injections of 50mg per week which feels like it's not enough, so I added deca durabolin at 30mg a week and I'm able to feel alot better. I'm 58 and I lost 50 pounds last year due to long covid syndrome. My stomach shut down which made me lose all that weight. A year later and I still haven't gained any weight back. I'm hoping the deca will change that. My question to you doctor, is this small dose of deca going to make a difference in me trying to get my stomach working better? And are there any heart lipid risks at this small dose? I've been lifting for 20 years but the last year I haven't trained due to long covid syndrome which is gone now, but still having digestion issues that seem to be slowly getting better. Thank You for your time
Great video Doc. Can someone explain to me the mechanism for guys getting such wide ranging results from similar doses? I've been on the forums and guys are on 150 mg of cyp a week, split into two doses and they end up at 800 total T and when another guy does the same dosing schedule with 120 mg/wk, they end up in the 1300s? I'm in the latter group and my doc reduced my dose, but what causes these extreme difference in response?
Hi Michael! Variance in individual response is probably due to many factors. Health status, bodyfat levels and genetics. Many variables come into play.
@@UA-camChillZone Sorry, dude but not true :-) Bodyweight has nothing to do with the dose. Not if we are talking about real, medical TRT. Sure, Sports TRT, Bodybuilding TRT or "TRT Plus" or whatever people call their steroid cycle these days, that is perhaps another question :-)
@@UA-camChillZone Zerosum is right. I'm 6'2",between 215 to 220lbs. 100mgs per week puts me at 1100 total t. 200 mgs puts me over 2000. I'm a hyperresponder.
Started doing my Trt exactly like this and it seems to me the best way. There’s no highs and lows and the negative side effects seem to be less. The hair loss slowed down and my mood and sex drive are on point. Glad this video caught my attention. 1ml every 7 days seem to be too much at once and not enough by the end of the week.
I've been on TRT for 10 years...1 ml every 7 days...sometimes I miss my shot on monday and go two weeks without...I start to feel less than fit at the end of two weeks...but what symtoms are you experiencing that lead you to believe it's the test that is wearing off within 7 days? Just curious
@@robanderson4137 for me it was high blood pressure and shedding. My hair was thinning and the first two days my blood pressure would be extremely high. Like my face would stay hot and even seemed to loose some strength at the gym around the 4th day. Almost needed to AIs a week for the estrogen conversion. Then I started breaking it down and everything stopped. My mood seemed more even too.
I've tried T cycles under medical care. It's more negative for me than positive. I get moody, or should say ballsy/fiesty/angered very easily. I've tried various brands too. Depo T seemed to be the best for me. My HGL would creep up real high. i've tried various dosages/injection regimes. While at times it was such an awesome feeling, it actually scared me because i felt like i was in my 20s... my energy/desire levels just like pop..... right there.... but the down sides we hard.... i also felt like i blew up, like water weight..... i wish i could go back on it, but the negatives to me not worth it. some folks have great results, others don't. my levels now are low 400 when i get my labs done, and i'm 56... when i was on levels would be well north of 800, and sometimes well above 1200, this was from 1cc shots, split 2x/week too
after quite some time of experimentation i found my best dose about well being and mood… and it’s 25mg of daily injection (actually 6 times per week - i skip sunday - for a total of 150mg per day), plus 240mg per week of primobolan (80mg on monday; 80mg wednesday; 80mg friday). i think that’s my perfect dose. Would you think it can still be considered trt?? 😄
My clinic has an ace inhibitor already mixed in. I've been doing about .75 every 7 days. Day 6 is when I have to get blood tested because I inject on Saturdays and I am usually in the low 800's. I have minor acne issues, it was really bad at first but my body has adjusted.
I must be super sensitive to TRT because I inject 30mg every 4th day and have a total that averages between 1000 and 1100 with a free T 150-180 and an SHBG in the low 60s. This is after about 4 months of fine tuning. Tried 90mg once per week and it was driving my total T to 1600 with a free T of 260. I'm 59 years of age with no underlying health issues, never overweight, and worked out all my life. On no meds except for the enanthate. My total T was averaging around 750 even before starting TRT, but my Free T was low at around 90 with an SHBG in the high 70s. That is why I started TRT. Maybe my own production is not shutting down? Who knows....
what percent of your patients are "sensitive" to the dosage schedule? I can literally feel a difference between doing twice a week versus once every 3 days. And what percent need higher doses than the roughly .1 (20mg) per day to feel good?
Love your insight. My doctor has me on 4 pellets every six weeks. You’re saying they stay in your system for 70 days, 10 weeks. I like your theory about injections, but I would prefer prefer to inject myself by micro dosing. I don’t want to be running to the doctors every five days or even more. Would it be best for me just to purchase it from a pharmacy and do a self injection and check my blood labs? How often do I need to check my labs? Even on pellets, my estradiol goes up.
I’m on 200mg/week of cypionate injected with 100mg twice per week. I was at 200 for my testosterone level before starting TRT. My current dose has me at 700. Should I ask my clinic to adjust the dosage?
I tried 100mg of cypionate every 5 days and my total testosterone felt way too high after a couple of months. Sure, I had plenty of energy but I was having trouble sleeping and felt wired all the time, LOL. So I am in the process of taking 2 weeks off to let my T-level drop back to a more reasonable level and will try injecting 100mg every 7 days to see how that goes.
@@johnharris7756 Yeah, if you're a younger guy you can get away with that. I'm 67 years old now and an average of 140mg T per week also gave me heart arrhythmia that went away as soon as I lowered the dose to 100mg. I've been working out for more than 50 years and unfortunately my problems are your future; you'll find as you age that the body won't put up with the same things that were fine when you were younger.....steroids, diet, exercises, intensity, workout frequency....it all changes. I ain't gonna lie....getting older SUCKS.
Yeah that’s true, what works at 30 may not work at 40,50, or 60. But the fact you still exercise at 67 means you are a badass! I hope I am like you at 67. Problems and all. Rather that then live like a wimp
why microdose when men can get pelleted instead? Also all these injections are synthetic. I would look into a Biote provider that does pellets and they have a very individualized dosing software that literally gives the provider an exact dose that is spot on to slightly conservative. This method is really guessing with constant lab follow ups. Also DR O'CONNOR, I suggest reaching out to Biote and have a rep talk to you. I think you'll be very impressed!! :)
Everything should be microdosed. Never blindly take what your doctor tells you, do your own research. You not having a degree in a field does not excuse you from using your brain and researching... especially today with the enormous amounts of knowledge sitting in your phone. Mind blowing that people take a 2 week injection.
I just started TRT last week Level 390 and feel like garbage She mentioned all of these blood labs that he speaks of here being great outside of T. They prescribed me one CC per week, taking half tablet of blocker the day after and another half three days later Just wondering opinions on my modification. Began doing half a CC on Tuesday and half a CC on Friday with tablet blockers the day after each injection. I guess the truth will be in the numbers when they recheck it in November I’m glad I found this video because I was already thinking that I should not inject the morning of my labs to see what they look like post injection. Since the very start of the first injection, I have been journaling daily how I feel with lots of notes. It’s hard to remember two months later when they ask you. I’ll try to remember to keep a check on blood pressure also . I still have hair and I’m trying now to fall out .
If you're doing half a CC of T twice a week, almost guaranteed you dont need that blocker.. You're going to crash your E and feel a metric ton worse than you should.. If your joints crack and your Dck is turtling in more than usual \ no morning wood, you most likely crashed your E.
@@Kreegrrr it’s funny you say that, maybe that’s what’s going on, yesterday I went home feeling terrible. I’ve been hanging on to water like crazy. But I had very low energy. Started noticing that I felt like my nipples were sensitive. So based on all of that, I assumed when I stopped taking the AI that my had skyrocketed… half a tab. Seem to feel better today. I really wish we didn’t have to wait on labs to see where levels are. I have no idea if I’ve crashed it or sent it through the roof. Also, I stopped taking the estrogen blocker after the very first week So last night was the first time I’ve taken one since the last week of August
@@damberson4698 It's so tricky right? When I injected once a week, about a day or so after I would start to feel emotional for nothing, retained water..etc.. I'd pop 1/4 of a-dex and that would set me right.. The next week I'd do the exact same and oops, joints would start to crack, felt dry, anxiety, no morning wood..etc.. Crashed my E. I did bloodwork to confirm. When I see people do 140+ a week and feel great I'm so jealous.
when you have a NP who doesn't know what she is doing and states giving anabolics when the testosterone level is 700 is against federal law. I function between 750-800 with the MS. she was giving me cypionate 50 mg every week. I felt like hell, in a wheelchair, and having memory problems. as a retired doctor with MS, I started myself on sustanon 250 @ 125 mg/week. today I am out of the wheelchair, feeling great, and memory has improved. I get the anabolic from Singapore. feeling much better. sometimes my ankles swell. too many medical people don't know what they are doing and they lie to you. . and at 71, I was told I was too old to treat. instead they offered me euthanasia. isn't Florida great.
Every 5 days is stupid for adherence. People say they can't do every day. Every day it becomes a part of your daily routine. Give them a 29-31g slin pin and take the 30 seconds a day. I can't imagine starting on a Monday, then next shot Saturday, then Thursday, and so on. How is a person going to get into a routine?
I have found the best dosing for me on TRT has been EOD micro injections @ 25mg of Test Cyp/ Mast Enanthate10mg. It really helps keep things more balanced for me. My BP, Mood, libido and other sides. I tired adding like 5mg of Tren E. into this and I still developed bad moods, a desire for sex more(the only good side;)) breathing was hard during cardio, and hot flashes. So I cut it out and things have got better now. Anabolic Doc, self injections with harpoons like 23ga 1" pins EOD day would be brutal. You can fill syringes with that then change the needle to 27 or 25 ga 5/8" I really like - Micro dosing by filling my weekly dose in a 23ga 1" S/N then back filling a Insulin pin 29ga 1/2" with my 35mg mix of Test/Mast. After that you can easily pin shoulders, triceps or where there is muscle not fat.. Just my 2 cents worth I hope this can help some ;) T
@@justsomeguy1671 i'm not sure why you want a delay. Using T Enan/Cyp is not fast acting, it take 2-4 days to react with your receptors.. NO SUQ injections with Test! I use a back filled 29G 1/2" pin. Injections areas shoulders, pecs or triceps. 1/3 to 1/2 cc per injects work best(30 -50 units on the pin)
@@bigtzone4331 i was considering doing the sustanon or just regular T and was thinking is my muscles were big enough to be pinned. Just a hypothetical question just wondered
So basically pull the insulin syringe plunger fully out of the barrel, squirt the Test into the empty insulin barrel, and then pop the plunger back into the insulin barrel ready to pin smaller muscle groups with ease? 😃
I'm 58 and I was on two different insulins a day. 6 weeks ago I switched doctors. She checked testosterone,it was 80. I started fasting. Off all insulin in 2 weeks, lost 34lbs. My blood sugar is perfect. Last Tuesday started 100mg cypionate weekly. Can I do 50 sub belly twice a week? Had tubes snipped years ago. But can I cycle HCG to stop shrinkage? Also like to pack some muscle back on while I'm young enough. I'm a musician, hair is important. Worried about that also. Thanks brother.❤
Some solid info but a lot missing here. What about the benefits of 5 Alpha reductase when applying scrotal cream? That boost in DHT is a missing piece for a lot of men, especially in the form of libido. The dosing is also not this cookie cutter for most. Some guys may need 100mg/wk while other May need closer to 300. It’s all subjective
I tested my T a few days ago and my total testosterone is 13,95 nmol/L and my free testosterone is 18,6 pg/mL. Is this too low and what should I do? I'm 37 yo and fairly active (run frequently, a few half marathon races per year)
I was prescribed .15 ml (30mg) daily - 210mg week. I'm on my 3rd week. I don't mind the daily subq injection. My cypionate is in grape seed oil. It takes about 5 mins to fill the needle.
The overall variance within human beings in all known parameters makes "the perfect dose" a Unicorn. 1ml of 250mg/ml testosterone enanthate IM once per week generally puts us "Old Ones" in the proverbial sweet spot.
Great info Dr. Would you recommend a different. Treatment for men with heart issues? I’ve had 2 OHS for mitral valve repair in 03 and the last in 09. Currently 57. I’m on .50 cc every 5 days, with lab numbers showing consistent 650 ish for a few years now. Very clean diet, 177 lbs bw.

Thank you.
You don't have to donate blood? Hematocrit is ok?
can i check back on ya in a few more years after pinning for 1095 days divided by EOD 2 equals 500 and change injections into muscle.
@bryanutility9609
150mg/week is what I'm currently on.
@davejackson1828
Thanks buddy. I'm from the GC.
A GP referral would be great if you dont mind.
My last blood work I did came back at 1016ng/dl, that was the day after my shot of 40mg cypionate. Lowered it down to 30mg twice wkly and I feel good ,good energy , and I don't worry about side effects.
Why would you draw blood the day after your shot? Supposed to do it the day of injection but not
Inject before the test. This gives you a low read furthest time out from your last shot. Numbers won’t be as high but your free test will be more ideal.

The train is brutal two nights and coca-cola colored sheets
Do doctors even prescribe accutane anymore?

Was also confused by this
Yes 100mg every 5 days
If your test is 250/ml then draw 0,4 cc in your syringe, every 5 th day.. 200 a week.. 0,2 every 5 days.. 100 a week

I got on TRT without doing a full fresh blood panel. I felt better for a week then tired again.

250mg once or split into two shots a week? Cheers.
Is that 250 a week cyp or E?
I’ve done all of the different frequencies of injections and you’re right in the money with E5-7 days. 5 is definitely better though. No need for E, EOD injections. I’ve been doing this way too long to deal with that. Great info as always Doc!
You could always to undecanoate or every 2 weeks if you're In it for the long run. Perfect stable levels
Would that be for cyp or E? Does it matter which one your are injecting every 5-7 days?
I have a significant mood swing after five days from injection. My doctor moved my injections to the sixth day to try to counteract it. He also increased my dosage by 20%. Hope this helps me.
Safe to sssume increasing your dose didnt reduce your anger? I know this old want to know how you're doing?
The feel is what is the hardest for me. 200-300mg makes me feel the best. But it's like I'm too alpha. Kind of like how anger feels good because you feel so powerful but it's not a good thing. 140 makes me a chill happy adult and the best version of myself for raising little girls. Since lowering my dose years ago my little girl still makes comments about how much smaller I am. Little shit. Lol.
300mg isn't trt its a steroid cycle dose an you can still maintain sizeon a lower dose its all about training an eating right
No such thing as too alpha lol.

Didnt say it makes me angry. Was just using an analogy to compare anger and feeling alpha. @cameronjohn604
Amazing upload with loads of great information. Keep up the great work Doc
Yeah 50mg a week is perfect

I was taking a 100mg per week and started having heart palpitations on my 4th week. Dropping down to 50mg per week.
It also suppresses the effects of elevated estradiol
boron 9mg or greater daily
@@26JonnyD Unfortunately it really effects my kidneys, so it isn't a sustainable option. I'd prefer to use proviron, but it isn't approved for use in the USA. Hey Doc! My name is Kevin Tabb. I’ve been training for over 45 years natural of course. However over the last couple of years I found out that I’ve had hypogonadism all my life. Little to no Testosterone. Unfortunately my wife and I always wanted kids and we tried everything but nothing only to find out I had low T and never told me. So now that I’m 54 I’m on 200ml per week. Last week I went to my urologist and I was told to wait a week then check my Testosterone. Well the results were 136. Super low. My doctor wants to increase the dosage but I also developed polythemia so phlebotomy’s are the only solution. And they say until that until that is under control they cannot increase the dosage. What to do? Please help. I watch all your segments and I’ve learned so much about the drug. Thank you

Good question

How low was your test to qualify for insurance? I think in the US, it has to be under 300 ng/dl for most insurers.

@@Ridindirty808If you're going on TRT, there's no reason for PCT. The only time you would do PCT while you're on them TRT is if you're going to stop TRT, but most people go on TRT for life so there's no need for a PCT. Unless maybe you want to have a baby, then you would go on PCT with HCG and maybe arimidex or something in the anti-estrogen family. Good luck .

When I look at my past scans, my shbg has always been very low. Not only did I gain weight, but I lost all ability to lose weight on TRT, even microdoses, at doses as low as 10mg\day.
What is the ideal TF in your opinion? After 7 year i dont yet find my best dose... I try 70mg/week, to 250mg/week.
My clinic has an ace inhibitor already mixed in. I've been doing about .75 every 7 days. Day 6 is when I have to get blood tested because I inject on Saturdays and I am usually in the low 800's. I have minor acne issues, it was really bad at first but my body has adjusted.
What’s your clinic?
For me 160mg a week is perfect no AI. My brain is sharp and I'm happy the entire week. I feel "switched on".
You just do 1 injection per week?
Besides making you feel good, can you gain muscle using TRT?
I'm a 63 yr old lifelong natty. 690 testosterone level, thankfully I don't need TRT!
690 is not that great. Even at 63 years old that must suck
Great content as always Doc. Thank you
what percent of your patients are "sensitive" to the dosage schedule?
100 mg is pretty typical weekly dose… I cycled on ans off so I needed more than 100 mg. 150 mg for me is great but I still blast here and their.
Don’t take time off of injecting. Just switch to the 7 day schedule immediately
More and be better. Thank you.
why microdose when men can get pelleted instead? Also all these injections are synthetic. I would look into a Biote provider that does pellets and they have a very individualized dosing software that literally gives the provider an exact dose that is spot on to slightly conservative. This method is really guessing with constant lab follow ups. Also DR O'CONNOR, I suggest reaching out to Biote and have a rep talk to you. I think you'll be very impressed!! :)
Excellent explanation. Thanks
Everything should be microdosed. Never blindly take what your doctor tells you, do your own research. You not having a degree in a field does not excuse you from using your brain and researching... especially today with the enormous amounts of knowledge sitting in your phone. Mind blowing that people take a 2 week injection.
I just started TRT last week
Level 390 and feel like garbage
She mentioned all of these blood labs that he speaks of here being great outside of T.
They prescribed me one CC per week, taking half tablet of blocker the day after and another half three days later
Just wondering opinions on my modification. Began doing half a CC on Tuesday and half a CC on Friday with tablet blockers the day after each injection.
I guess the truth will be in the numbers when they recheck it in November
I’m glad I found this video because I was already thinking that I should not inject the morning of my labs to see what they look like post injection.
Also, I stopped taking the estrogen blocker after the very first week
So last night was the first time I’ve taken one since the last week of August
@@damberson4698 It's so tricky right? When I injected once a week, about a day or so after I would start to feel emotional for nothing, retained water..etc.. I'd pop 1/4 of a-dex and that would set me right.. The next week I'd do the exact same and oops, joints would start to crack, felt dry, anxiety, no morning wood..etc.. Crashed my E. I did bloodwork to confirm. When I see people do 140+ a week and feel great I'm so jealous.
It blows my mind that people are too lazy to inject once a day. It takes 30 seconds 🤦🏻. Painless with an insulin syringe.
Can you share the parameters of the syringe?
A bit confusing and missing Deca
when you have a NP who doesn't know what she is doing and states giving anabolics when the testosterone level is 700 is against federal law.
Another awesome video Doc. Your killin it 😎👊
I have found the best dosing for me on TRT has been EOD micro injections @ 25mg of Test Cyp/ Mast Enanthate10mg. You can fill syringes with that then change the needle to 27 or 25 ga 5/8"
I really like - Micro dosing by filling my weekly dose in a 23ga 1" S/N then back filling a Insulin pin 29ga 1/2" with my 35mg mix of Test/Mast. After that you can easily pin shoulders, triceps or where there is muscle not fat.. Just my 2 cents worth I hope this can help some ;) T
Hey as someone new to this, would injecting just fat be a huge deal...like it'd be a 2-3 day delay?
You just made my day. I’m calling you in the morning!
Labs look good in re: cholesterol, most likely due to a super strict diet. What labs can I request to be more mindful of cardiac function? Thank you.
This is the Anabolic Doc 💯
I tested my T a few days ago and my total testosterone is 13,95 nmol/L and my free testosterone is 18,6 pg/mL. Is this too low and what should I do? I'm 37 yo and fairly active (run frequently, a few half marathon races per year)
I was prescribed .15 ml (30mg) daily - 210mg week. I'm on my 3rd week. I don't mind the daily subq injection. My cypionate is in grape seed oil. It takes about 5 mins to fill the needle.
Very informative👍🏻good stuff Doc💪🏼
Awesome presentation. Now I need to find a doc and a source of .25 cyp micro per 4 days. Thank you!
The overall variance within human beings in all known parameters makes "the perfect dose" a Unicorn. 1ml of 250mg/ml testosterone enanthate IM once per week generally puts us "Old Ones" in the proverbial sweet spot.
Thank you Doctor your explanation excellent
I heard when you’re on TRT it lowers your testosterone levels more so you have to stay on it forever. Is that true?
Great info Dr. Would you recommend a different. Treatment for men with heart issues? I’ve had 2 OHS for mitral valve repair in 03 and the last in 09. Currently 57. I’m on .50 cc every 5 days, with lab numbers showing consistent 650 ish for a few years now. Very clean diet, 177 lbs bw.
this channel is amazing, thank you for your information.
Another GREAT video Doctor. Q? Feel free to comment if you know the answer guys-----How does TRT affect A1C? Thanks
