It would've been a lot better if he called the accent cute- maybe even a compliment, but he actually called the entire language "cute" which is borderline offensive. Now its hard to say if he was trying to be offensive or condescending without being in the room, but i think her face says it all. 2:09
He actually called the entire language "strange" then said it sounded cute. Hmm. But I'll chock it up to German social graces. Lol Jk, I don't think he really intended offense...second language interview, and mildly awkward interviewer. He also says she is wise for a 19 yo, and her face ...again...his wisdom is lacking a bit I think. He doesn't see his condescensions. She is very kind and forgiving. She continues to speak to him as another human. I think there's a lot to be learned from her demeanor.
I think it's unfair to judge him like that. He just said what came to his mind. I find the language to be really cute, too, that's one reason I love it that much. It's my favorite language (I'm from Germany, too, by the way). But another cool thing about Norwegian is that it also sounds badass (it's a Viking language, after all). Cute and badass is the most perfect mix.
to be honest, i was feeling emotional for some reason as i watched this. she is so cute and wise and mysterious and lovely and it seems like she notices things other people don't, shes imaginative, creative and a dreamer also i really love her voice
I am only of HSP ( highly sensitive persons ). Only 5% of people on this world are Highly sensitive and I guess that Autota is one of us, as well. We have some special abillities, such as being aware of space around us, I see almost everything around me. I don't miss anything. And it is easy for me to become sad and cry. I feel other peoples emotions, so if i see someone to cry I will cry also. HSP are artis who are able to expirience vivid emotions. I'm trying to explain that to people my whole life but it was difficult for them to understand!
She is. She's a witch. There are tens of millions of witches in this world. Most of them aren't mainstreamed, because the establishment hates the idea of people empowering themselves with nature. The overlords want sex-obsessed consumers. That's it.
Me too. I hear myself speak English, and it just doesn't sound beautiful , I think. Not that it's an ugly language, just not lovely to listen to compared to others, in my opinion.
11:25 When this little girl starts to teach us what life really is and how to face it and don't be crushed by all the cruelty in the world. She is way above us all.
She is clever and wiser than most people on politics, religions, etcetera. I wihs those people, and all of us, would learn her view of things, so we could build a real paradise. Yet, she can not see what is there about her, that turns her into a special person, and that is even more beautiful.
I used to get in trouble a lot for daydreaming and zoning out in school when I was younger. I can relate to her in that sense. I also get very very distracted. I spend way too much time inside my own head or doodling on paper to concentrate on anything. I adore her so much. Such a pure soul. I hope she never changes.
I just love the fact that the new, growing norwegian artists are all so natural and down to earth. Like Aurora, Sigrid and Astrid S. Its refreshing from all if the hollywood glam.
I've seen quite a "few" interviews with her and this HAS TO BE one of my favorites! So much stuff other interviewers and editors would've cut out, but you left it in. Makes it all feel a lot more personal. Gives us a better understanding of who she is and what she's like. I gotta say that my love for this girl is ever growing. Warrior and Weirdo for life! Thank you so much NRJ for this interview. Enjoyed it more than you can imagine!
Its crazy how kind the interviewer is, they vibe so well together and its so cool that they dont only talk about her fame or success u really find that so rarely. I absolutly adore their kind of thinking and impressing their mind she makes me feel less alone.Wish i could express it like her to < 3
Well, he works for the worst commercial autotune-music-featuring radio station in germany... No wonder he's close minded, huh? However, I actually thought he did a good job for what "musicians" he's usually confronted with. He was nice and he listened to everything she had to say. I think he appreciated her.
Ok, so the leading points of this interview has been small talk like "drinking alcohol from the skulls of your dead enemies" but the closing point was her idea on humanity and how she cares about people. That's priceless. I hope she never looses that sentiment of belief as a celebrity because our survival as humans depend on it. There will be no violence in heaven.
This is so late but I've watched this interview so many times and I love everything about her. "We drink rum from the skull of enemies we killed for breakfast." HAHA!
I could just sit there and listen to and watch this girl exist and not get tired of it because she's so interesting. It's very weird and pretty creepy but her personality with all its sadness and nuances makes me feel very warm. I'm happy she exists.
EVERY INTERVIEW I WATCH WITH HER. THEY TALKED TO HER AS IF SHE IS FROM ANOTHER PLANET. SO WHEN SHE SPACES OUT I WONDER IF SHE IMAGINES SHE IS ON ANOTHER WORLD? SHE IS SO STRANGE AND KIND. YA' SHE IS AWSOME.
Sie ist so eine angenehme Person, schön dass ihr nicht nur die typischen Interviewfragen stellt :) Mit dem Kleid sieht sie aus wie Ilvi von "Wickie und die starken Männer":D
Ahaha - it's traditional for us to drink from the skulls of enemies we kill for breakfast. One way to know she took in every word as she played with her hair and the microphone waiting for the interviewer to say what he wanted to say. :)
I checked the weather data for 2016, and her gut feeling was half right half wrong. It was a warm early summer in Bergen, but then it got cold and rained during the height of summer, setting new daily and monthly records for rain, which is pretty bad considering it's Bergen. Then in september Bergen sat a new record again, this time for record high temperature for the month. It was as if the summer came late that year, lasting all the way into october. So, while the summer was horrible, it was great right before and right after. Yes, you can call me a nerd.
This woman is an awesome. Songwriter a singer she's very intelligent. I would love to meet her someday. In person I listen to all her music my daughter introduced me to her music. Now it's like I want to listen to her music all the time. It's like I just stop listen to all those other music and just listen to her. Her words are inspiring especially the song the seed And words about saying you cannot eat money. And the rivers are poison. It kind of takes me to another level. Of how life is I love the song Lucky. We are lucky to be in this world. To have a life to breathe. And to live we only have one. Life All her songs, except one song. I don't really like and I have to be honest. The song is not very well. Not very inspiring. Is the one that he put his gun to her head? I don't remember exactly what that song. Is I don't remember the name. But I don't like it. I've all the other songs. That's the only one I don't like. She has some beautiful songs and I noticed there's some songs that she hasn't wrote that she got from other singers, which is okay with me. But her music is very very inspiring.
It is her "Murder Song" which is for me a masterpiece, perhaps I am also a liitle more into the darker side. But consider that she's "just" creating stories by her inspirations, not neccessarily meaning it is something she had experienced or has a story background from her life. She is just very intelligent, sensible, smart and clever and a genious artist. I'd really love to have an interview with her. My questions or topics would just be little bit different from the normal ones I've seen so far.
" I have not forgiven snow yet"
She's the sweetest human being.
that face she made when he called her accent cute hahaha
Owen Hoover Yeah i've noticed that!!!! ❤😂 (:

@R230Tuner Yeah, that's the only thing still missing for me with Aurora: at least a few songs in Norwegian.
to be honest, i was feeling emotional for some reason as i watched this. she is so cute and wise and mysterious and lovely and it seems like she notices things other people don't, shes imaginative, creative and a dreamer also i really love her voice
+Kennedy Keaton and seems like she spaced-out sometimes in the interview :)) which is so cute!
Minh Trang I definitely agree

I am one of*
Aurora*
"Katy Perry is just another human" I love you Aurora, and I think that you aren't another human
Of curse she's not she's an angel
Of course she's a human being, and I think she would want to be seen as a human being, she seems very grounded and humble to me
ximono gosh we say that She’s not a human because She’s an angel, dUuHh
She is A Different Kind Of Human ❣️
She is. She's a witch. There are tens of millions of witches in this world. Most of them aren't mainstreamed, because the establishment hates the idea of people empowering themselves with nature.
The overlords want sex-obsessed consumers.
That's it.
WHO THE HELL DID NOT ALLOW MANCHESTO FOR GOD SAKES!!
Haven't you heard: balloons are the latest weapons of mass destruction :)
They create music that eliminates bad people
It was an hate crime and discrimination towards Manchesto. Balloons are weapons of war
An exploding balloon can trick people to think it is a terrorist attack. You know, normal stuff in europe.
runningmoonb 😂
She’s like a drug that makes you smile and feel good about life once you hear her talk
hahahah totally !
I LOVE HER MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF
same , "ive not forgiven snow yet" confirmed it for me
I LOVE YOU EVEN MORE NOW
She is Light on the end of tunel....Only one hope to save ""our""Mother Earth
You should see a therapist
I have no money 4 terapist.
I dont know why but I wanna protect her.
JohnSpawn same my friend same
Same
Yes that feeling when you want to follow somone around night and day, and stand outside their door as a guard but dont want to come of creepy
She doesn't need protection, she's a viking
She's the person I admire and love most, but I don't want to approach, I think it's the price to pay when you idealize someone.
I wish people who spoke english as their first language spoke as beautifully as she does.
Me too. I hear myself speak English, and it just doesn't sound beautiful , I think. Not that it's an ugly language, just not lovely to listen to compared to others, in my opinion.
Same I sound like a chip munk
Venus Manhattan that’s because you are listening to the person through the language, not just to a language spoken by a person.
I feel like if you were ever to try and hate on her she'd just compliment you and then you would be confused and this is just oddly comforting
She's changing my life.
11:25 When this little girl starts to teach us what life really is and how to face it and don't be crushed by all the cruelty in the world. She is way above us all.

i LOVE HOW SHE GETS SHY WHEN HE SAID THE NORWEGIAN LANGAUGE WAS CUTE
She's such an adorable girl, so lovely and mysterious, I adore her!
What a perfect description
I used to get in trouble a lot for daydreaming and zoning out in school when I was younger. I can relate to her in that sense. I also get very very distracted. I spend way too much time inside my own head or doodling on paper to concentrate on anything. I adore her so much. Such a pure soul. I hope she never changes.
you can't say "it sounds really cute" to a viking!! xD lol @02:04
i dont understand :(
@UCONTENT i think it's meant to be a joke cuz vikings were known to be tough and strong people, so saying cute to one would be kinda weird i guess 😊😂
@UCONTENT true 😂😂
never thought i'd say this but - Aurora is my dream princess - I can't even lie - don't tell anyone though.
same
She should've played aurora in the live action Disney movie, Maleficent. She would've been perfect.
Omg yes
same im in love
same her I am totally in love whit her
I just love the fact that the new, growing norwegian artists are all so natural and down to earth. Like Aurora, Sigrid and Astrid S. Its refreshing from all if the hollywood glam.
"For breakfast as well?" Killed me

Yeah these are really good, personal questions not just who are your favorite artists.
Its crazy how kind the interviewer is, they vibe so well together and its so cool that they dont only talk about her fame or success u really find that so rarely.
I absolutly adore their kind of thinking and impressing their mind she makes me feel less alone.Wish i could express it like her to < 3
Except for that moment at 02:04, otherwise I agree with you
this dude is so blinded...unable to see beyond her age or physical appearance and see how truly great she is.
Well, he works for the worst commercial autotune-music-featuring radio station in germany... No wonder he's close minded, huh? idk why but im dying at her response at 5:48
"Yeah, kind of" I just love her. Such a sweet Viking who conquers with sweetness and love, a great voice and personality.
"It's like I have an open window in my heart." Love that!
Aurora is the dream me. 😔
don't be harsh on yourself, give yourself the right to dream, to live...
Aurora is actually "the Dream Girl" for most people who'd come to know her.
You're the dream you. You gotta make your dream come true, and just be the ever lovely you, :). Have a fantastic day, :) :)
woah that rhymes :)
*in a cutsie, high pitched voice* “...to drink rum from the skulls of our enemies”
I love her more and more with each interview I watch
She's 19 here and such a delight to watch and listen to. Now at 24 she hasn't changed a bit.
She is in my top 5 for best when interviewed.
She's such a troll. The best kind.
Also Aurora would totally drink out of the skull of her enemies
I would do that too 😊
I LOVE this girl .. So refreshingly real and spaced out at the same time. A Star-child StarSeed
I relate to her. I'm the same way. She is such a talented and unique person. Love her music
8:33 I bet Mother Nature saw this and asked the Snow to apologize to Aurora
Manchesto and Wilson could have been best friends if Tom Hanks could save Wilson. RIP Manchesto and Wilson
they would meet at the terminal
I love her more everyday, old soul in a young body, so wise. So glad I found her, there is hope for great music!!
Interviewer : "Sounds really cute..."
AURORA as AURORA : "Aww, thank you."
AURORA as Viking : "Ohhh...."
She reminds me Luna Lovegood a bit... Amazing artist ;)
1:52 haha her face after he said it was cute! 🤭🤭
She's too sweet & funny! Hearing her speak gives me joy! You can feel her warmth & how big her heart is! I love her so much!
skip to 12:52 for epic cuteness...
She is so great, she is super cute.
2:07 Her face just says it all... It was mean to be the most badass line ever said in the history of EVER but NOOOO!

👍❤️👍 Great personality, great facial expressions, so cute, and extremely talented. You are a gift from the GODS. 👍❤️👍
"Hi, I am Aurora Aksnes, I'm from Bergen and I am a Viking."
I think that was it? 😍
8:48 I love how she just answers in Norwegian, and no one notice it🤣
“I feel it in my belly” is english
Ja!
she's definitely a Lovegood
She could be an inspiration for the Luna's character
She's so sweet
she is so cute c: I love your music aurora, regards from Argentina
She is my favorite
Sie ist so eine angenehme Person, schön dass ihr nicht nur die typischen Interviewfragen stellt :) Mit dem Kleid sieht sie aus wie Ilvi von "Wickie und die starken Männer":D
Der Vergleich ist so passend :D
i like the idea of looking like a 90 year old person from behind, then to turn around i'm 19 . . .
I'm afraid to say that I just had the opposide experience ;) :O
@@NeuroticNexus of being a jerryatric and being mistaken for 19?!? . . . . {-.-} . . . I would like that.
"I'm just a girl from Norway" Wow. She's not "just" an anything.
Daniel T She is just a girl from Norway though, just different from everyone else
She's just a fucking angel
Aurora is my idol lol not even kidding.
Ahaha - it's traditional for us to drink from the skulls of enemies we kill for breakfast. One way to know she took in every word as she played with her hair and the microphone waiting for the interviewer to say what he wanted to say. :)
could not count how many times he said "19 years old girl" .
I am in love with Aurora and her voice is beautiful
She's so honest it's so lovely to hear her speak.
I love her so much
she is like kid, really smart, cute and sensitive:3 Yeah, and that's what makes her unique
What a wonderful interview!
so much humility packed into such an authentic mammal.
She is soooo perfect😍😍😍
I love see her facial expressions
She's so cute . I love her☺️❤️❤️❤️
I Love how she gets really worried about speaker, when he said that his flatmates don't like his singing.
(Edit) -> 5:45
Thankyou Aurora for holding the pinecone!
shes so cute omg!
fantastic person
She is amazing! 11:59 ~12:01
I learn many thing to her
Menchesto!!!! so cute.. O
l
I love her sense of humor
That was a good interviewer. Der Typ ist sympathisch.
This interviewer is hilarious "I love it but my flat mates don't." 🚿🧖🎤
She is so wise for her age
this is a clever kid.
She is an ancient being, a princess, an old soul, in disguise of a kid ;)
I wouldn't exactly call her a kid...
Ahah, "For breakfast as well..." :D
She is so cute 💕
"thats pretty wise for a 19 year old.." >.> Jeez there's lots and lots of very intelligent people that are 19... And like younger even
People need to stop judging based off age as well..
But she's wise asf. Ngl
omg!! I love her♥
I checked the weather data for 2016, and her gut feeling was half right half wrong. It was a warm early summer in Bergen, but then it got cold and rained during the height of summer, setting new daily and monthly records for rain, which is pretty bad considering it's Bergen. Honestly, I was curious about this but too lazy to look it up! Thanks for elaborating haha
I believe she is a fairy

A Goddess in physical form
I really would like her to be a friend of mine. I would love to walk in the forest with her and talk about the magic.
PS to Aurora: I have two cats, you would love them!
That blink at the end got my 💓 forever :')
What's that word they say you get when you're distracted??? "Gluster"? Anyhow, her answer is beautiful.
