- AURORA's interview at Outrage and Optimism podcast with Tom Rivett-Carnac and Christiana Figueres on 12th July 2019.
Original: outrageandoptim... (begins at 15:20)
And of course she is actually 23 at that moment.
Aurora's existence in this world right now is a breath of fresh air for me
And we need her right now, more than ever. She needs many more people to stand
shoulder to shoulder with her to help make change for future generations.
Yes she and her cause is something I'd die for
And I don't say that lightly
Best interview with Aurora that I have listened to date.
I am a 72 year old male from the Hippy generation.
She gives me Hope for the future generations,LOVE HER MUSIC!!
I’d love some words of wisdom🙂
I'm assuming you were a yuppie in the 80s?
We will not disappoint you!
@@Meine.Postma I'm gonna bet $20 bucks he wasn't. And guess what, I'd win.
@@jailaye6929 why??
I could learn a lot from Aurora, she's very wise.
we could all benefit from her wisdom . . . that is one of the reasons we all listen when she speaks .
She has such a primordial elfish gleeful joyful youthful vibe....that I think sometimes people might dismiss her as "shallow" or flaky or just a silly giggling girl.
But she is SO not that. That outward expression is simply her purity and equanimity as a human being.
But inside her mind...she is VERY wise. Not just intelligent...but wise. I usually roll my eyes at the whole "old soul" concept...but Aurora is basically the living embodiment of that. She's FAR more aware and informed and self-actualized and wise than I was at her age...or than I even am now.
Hell, I'll consider myself profoundly lucky and grateful if I'm anywhere near as wise as her when I'm 50 years old. I'm 38 now.
She's just so cool....gives me hope. She's one of a small handful of people where I"m deeply grateful they exist at all.
Day by day I wonder why I am so drawn to this person. I think she speaks to my soul. I'm a 65 year old male and yet I don't feel odd listening to, watching AURORA. I tried to get tickets to her concert here in Denver but it's sold out. I appreciate that she understands that "Men over the age of 65 are at the greatest risk of suicide." Perhaps she will provide some of the healing I need.
After 3 years I am as drawn to her as ever, I still frequently ponder how such a beautiful human came into existence. Aurora has said herself that we see things in ourselves in things that we admire. You understand her which means you are one of the beautiful ones, know that you are loved by her and all warriors ❤
You are a beautiful person! Just remember that okay?
I came to the comments section to write out a whole comment about how much this interview means to me. But for some odd reason, all the words have left me.
I wish more people saw life like her. The world be such a better place. I am endlessly grateful to have fallen on her stunning, and meaningful music. It is medicine to the soul.
Gathering an army of love..fuelled by kindness.
Humans understanding personal / societal / global problems as our common enemy and finding how to overcome them together, rather than aiming anger and aggression towards each other.
Finding connection with others through our common humanity and experiences of struggle and hurt.
She is speaking things that are ideologically beautiful. I really hope that her message is embraced by many many people and that it can make a real-world difference. I think many would be cynical about how practical this kind of outlook is in the real world. But I think it can make a difference. I think she deserves a bigger and bigger platform, but even if her influence is just directly with her music fans, then that could still be thousands/millions of people using her music to process sadness, and loss, and insecurity, and finding themselves helped and healed and empowered and uplifted and inspired to be better, more caring, more compassionate, people that promote peace, love, selflessness and commitment to care for nature and the planet. Perhaps choices of vocations, choices about how we use time and resources and influence, - personal, political, economic - will be affected by her beautiful music and philosophy. Perhaps this other-worldly, childlike fairy of a young woman has the insight, innocence, and wisdom to be a figurehead of a formidable force for good in our hurt world. I truly hope so.
I love this young lady!
Very well said !
Ah, the power of positivity Aurora radiates effects everyone she encounters. She is a rare and special creature. A healing force. So glad we are lucky enough to exist with her in this moment.
Please more aurora interviews. 💙
Her english language is so much "better" when she dont have a camera in her face. Im quite sure she dont like to much beeing looked at, to be scrutenized. She sound so much more relaxed. This young woman is an ispiration to me and im soon sixty sooo.... If you look at Aurora in a glims, you will just think that she is weird. If you are lucky enough to look at her over time you will go, Aah! I understand now. I hope she will follow the verse from "Across the Universe" "Nothing gonna change my world". LOVE.
Her english language is so much "better" when she dont have a camera in her face. ???? Its doesn't not dont. Ironic how you are commenting on her English skills :-)
@@Dodusification Im from Norway as well. I didnt diss her english skill, you numbnutt. You may have deducted that from me putting the word "better" in quotation marks. I just said that she sound so much more "confident" when talking off camera. My english skill is what it is. Not great, but not the worst either. Same as Aurora I guess, lol. Hows your Norwegian by the way?
Yeah, she's gorgeous. It's fun to talk, to be with a well-founded soul, no? Everyone has one, although most are buried in fear. It's easier to shine than you might think, though. If you feel so compelled, start dedicating a few (quiet) minutes a day to changing yourself by directing your thoughts to the foundation of everything you (we) are and (sincerely) ask "How can I be of service? Show me. Thank you for the opportunity.". From there, be ready to receive some interesting choices. Don't worry if you somehow miss them, there will be many. If you keep offering yourself freely, they won't stop trying to be yours.
A lovely and wise young lady
We're in the presence of a young Sage. This troubled world desperately need her, now more than ever.

I’m in Aurora’s Army of Love!
I am so glad to say, me too❤️
Her soul is so old I love her ❤️ I relate so much to the way that she perceives the world and I love her vision and message for the world
Love her so much. I love making small things very beautiful, I completely agree with her. I have learned to really enjoy waiting for things now too by going inside like she said, or by watching people :)
Life is beautiful
I love Aurora.....her music, and her as a person.
And I've watched a _lot_ of her content online...
But for some reason, I keep coming back to THIS interview over and over and over. This is maybe my 10th time listening to this in the past year. It's almost like once a month....I need this interview, to remind myself of everything that matters. To feel rejuvenated and whole again.
I honestly can't express just how grateful I am that she exists. The words of the hosts at the end of this video pretty much perfectly capture what I would say though. They get it. She's definitely a different kind of human in the best way possible. Get it? lol... :P
I'm with you 100%
Warrior since 2015. She’s an inspiration!! A voice for so many of us. All of us.
Best human.
Love her. Great interview.
NOOOOOOOOOO! Bullying Aurora is crime against the universe!
Thank you for the upload.
What a outstanding good interview. I wish me more from you and Aurora.
After years of listening to every Aurora interview I could find I still think this is my favorite. Whatever you think of her music Aurora is a truly remarkable person on so many levels it's mind blowing
I just listen to her - and feel like she understands my thoughts better than I do. 💓
She blows me out of the water
Bravo, Zid. Excellent Interview. You can really HEAR how emotionally strong, Aurora is, here!! Very Grounded. I believe she IS a Futurist. She thinks far beyond, this life. Rare Characteristic! I can relate. I think Greta Thunberg and Aurora would make a Powerful Duo. Lots of Positivity here. Aurora should now have inspiration, for her next Death Metal Album! Thanks Zid!
Such a nice interview!
Love ❤️ everywhere she goes ... love struck like these kind interviewers At the end felt all her words glad they all had an equal reaction.. I’m officially infected by aurora’s music and philosophy ✌️ ❤️ 🖼 🎨 🎸

I am in.✍🌹👏
Yes I have thought that one can achieve just as much from having a NO SHOP day..do not buy anything/online or in shops..can you imagine how incensed the big companies would be??? it would be a start in saying, things have to change!
They wouldn't be angry if nobody bought something for a day because they know the next day they would just buy twice as much.
We have that in Germany
24:14 ❤❤💚😭
The Wizard (Angel) of Oz (Os), great Interview, thx

As an INFJ i think she is an INFP
