I think that's why I love her so much.
I wish we had more representation (people with Autism) because it's not really a disability, it's just different.
Never met anyone as different as me hopefully one day I will get the privalege to meet her.
When I first saw her it made me feel so much less alone. There's other "weirdos" like me. I sit that way as well (I guess you would call it manspreading but I'm a girl) and I bring a pinecone to meetings/groups/class too that was exciting to see she and I both do that... I always move (constantly. I've never sit still in my life) and I dance the same as her. What else... There's just so many things she does that I thought I was the only one.
In one interview she was biting her shirt. I do that too.
Oh and both of us have a higher IQ which is common with autism. I don't talk about it a lot because i feel like I will sound cocky but I actually got bullied for getting really high scores on my exams when I was little and I never understood why people were laughing at me. They knew I couldn't understand and that made it worse.
And when Aurora was telling the same story on Haik I thought omg that's me

They are two women discussing deep subjects. Why must you make it sexual? You’re all trying to label her, which is what people do when they don’t get it. They want things neatly labeled in a box. Aurora does not want to be in your boxes. As she said, “it has no bigger purpose than to resignate with the people she's singing to”
sometimes i get bored when watching artists interviewed about their music and click off, but with Aurora, I’m somehow clinging on to every word.
I want to click off every so often because of adhd and the format of youtube has gifted me with zero patience, but I always get caught up in her words and expressions and stay until the end.

Besides the fact that I’m SQUEALING every 30 seconds or so by the way Aurora is eyeing the interviewer so intensely, I’m even more impressed with how well she follows the questions asked. I’m watching their energies and I can’t even pay attention to what is being said😂

LOL what a hilarious funny moment at 12:16 When she looks down at her pendant, follows her impulse and exploring side, and puts her pendant into her mouth, sitting there with her mouth open, sensing the sensation, looking at the interwiever and around, while listening to the question. She is just so sweet and playfully curious.
I had to see the moment a fourth time, to actually be able to focus on the interwievers question, because i was so amused by Aurora.

I think that the fact that she doesnt listen to music allows her to keep her sound original
I feel like to keep your sound original you either have to listen to no music or ALL the music, you either find it entirely within yourself or you absorb things from different sources that makes it sound totally unique (that would be me hehe, I love all kinds of music)

Gojira is a french heavy Metal band that can be described as progressive death metal. Their sound is highly innovative and unique and Gojira is considered one of the best Metal bands of all time.
They also are strong activists for the environment. They are active supporters of the organisation Sea Shepherd and have a ship named after them.

Memory yeah I’m a death metal fan, for almost 20 years now. Gojira is one of my favorites. Can believe AURORA like them too. It’s awesome because I like her music too. I hope they collaborate some day

Great observation about Aspergers! Whether or not she is on spectrum, she does mentions being highly sensitive when talking about her school experience and how she needs quiet in her life.

@@djserious9341 I did wonder about this myself. She is amazing and talented perhaps she is affected a touch with Aspergers (not that we know F all about these things really).
I love the way she moves - for me only really Lorde and Aurora can dance. A lot of other pop stars try and dance. These two CAN dance.
And really, if she is happy and enjoying herself and making others happy - it does not matter if she has a touch of this or that in her head. We can enjoy the moment with her and she is amazing. Universal has a real talent on their hands - yesterday I was relistening to the latest Chemical Brothers album featuring her and it was really clear she enjoyed every second of it. Such an artiste for our time.
I feel it’s important to mention that we are only speculating. Such diagnosis can only be determined by a psychologist who meets with people one on one and conducts a exhaustive series of sessions and determinations.
It’s important we don’t try to diagnose people when we don’t know and when we don’t have credentials or know all the numerous criteria for such an complex diagnosis.

This girl was so intimidated by AURURA’s gaze, and it was funny how AURORA kind of mirrored that.
Strange how nobody seems to notice how PRESENT Aurora is and how NOT the interviewer seems to be - she seems more interested in asking her questions than genuinely interested in Aurora's answers but Aurora is such a genuinely kind soul, so sincerely interested in people that she still connects from an open and real place... she really is a very special human being ☉🌞🌝

@@user-ih4fd9sf8x yes the interviewer is way too narcissistic to be able to really connect... I probably would not have been able not to somehow ",punish" her for that by being cold or contemptuous, but that's why Aurora is so special, she remains calm and lovely and warm

No Susanna, I don’t. I’m not interested in labelling Aurora as if I am closer to her if my preferences mirrors hers. Frankly, I don’t think it anyone’s business. I love Aurora for her music, how it makes me feel. . Her personal life is her own. Damn! Sometimes you have to keep some of your thoughts and feelings private. It’s not for public consumption.
