I saw two of your videos. I want to ask you can I put under the oven and turn it into broiled then deep fry my beef? I lived in mn and we don't have hot weather so I can't baked it in the sun.
I don't have a meat dryer... but is there any way u can make this dish without sun drying the meat will it come out just as good or do I have to dry it sun/meat dryer
Someone must be making papaya salad. All I ever eat is that w/ w.ever meats. I'm bored w/it. Just went to the Asian grocery story recently & found that paste ppl make w/ the beef jerky. Idk what it's called or how to make it. But I was so excited. 7 dollars for it too 😤 but it'll prob last me awhile. I love Asian food. It helps me save & well, most of the times it's not that unhealthy. It's kinda funny going there bc those ppl always speak half Lao/half English to me. Other than them, there's hardly any Laotian ppl around me. So when I go, it's always just only English speaking ppl that I go with. They're only used to me being a certain way.

This is the best for road trips with sticky rice.
Tony Santi yes, we have this on all our road trips, too.
you are very good cook
do it hav to b deep-fried???i hav seen where thy put over the fire...or is that something else???
You can cook it fast in toaster oven but have to watch so it does not burn. You can put over open fire but also keep an eye on how done you want it.
😋thanks Nana
Came across your video and looks very good. I'm going to try it, but if I use the dehydrator, how long do I dehydrate it for?
rob kham you have to make it as dry as possible before frying in oil.
Just wondering how come I see some are red and some are a darker color after fried ? (Not yours). Can we add food coloring to make it more red?
What type of beef cut did you use ? Will flank work?
Love you channel thank you
clay johnson Thank you for watching.

CHAN TERN BRENTWOOD CA thank you!

you can also use a fan indoors. you want to remove as much water as you can from the meat.
Can i use a dehydrator if i cant do it outside?
jong Rillon yes, you can also use a dehydrator
Cooking with Nana i tried it with your recipe and i love the taste. Taste like when i was Laos for vacation. Can i add lime leaf too to the recipe?
Nana I have a question what if I can’t dry it in the sun like that what is another alternation to dry?? Please help?
In the oven under low and slow heat.
Looks delicious. I need a lao wife
How long can you keep them in the fridge?
kottlu215 you can keep them in the fridge for a couple days, but if you need to keep them longer, it's better to keep them in the freezer.

You didn’t mention how many pounds of beef you used???
Mone Daravivanh it was about 8 pounds of beef.
Just to confirm, is that 8 pounds of beef? It just doesn't look that much! Thanks.
Yes, I used 8 pounds.
It don’t look like 8 lbs
lets it out in the sun???? what about the flies, OMG :/
I luv beef jerky
if you have flies around, you need another layer of screen. I didn't see any flies when I dried my meat.
