    Wow it just amazes me how some people can be so rude to a nice young lady trying to share her family recipes. If you think you can do better share your recipe and if you don’t understand or can’t follow all you have to do is ask, nicely, for more info.
    BTW your recipes are easy to follow and thank you for sharing them.

    Omg ! I'm glad I found this video, thank you so kindly for posting!!!! She I was back in US I work 2 jobs so I have no time to make this and just ordered them from a Thai lady who sells different Thai dish..Now that I'm not working anymore I can make this anytime I want..
    I love beef jerky w/sticky rice,.Some commenter make fun of this video, ,but you know what? You don't know what your missing.👅

    Been following this recipe ever since i found it (few months). I cook it different because i dont ever have time to dry it out. So i just broil it lol. Still good!

    I just cook this recipe yesterday. I make a lot of different Jerky for my family, and mostly for myself :-), And this recipe is definitely goes to my top 5. Perfect in salt and spiciness, a little bit too sweet for my taste. I like it a lot. I just put it on a table, and already think that was a mistake^ it almost gone after 15 minutes. Have to make more...

    This is WAY better than one we FIRST tried! It called for roasted cumin seeds as well, and we had to dump the whole bowl because all we could smell was the cumin! It was NOT good!
    We’re all OVER this! 🤟

      I freeze mine after I am done drying them. I take a few out to thaw then fry when I want to eat them!

    I went out and bought a food dehydrator just to make this. One question, could I freeze the dehydrated meat and fry later?

    My Mexican grandma used to make it like this but no one just left the meat out there to dry in the sun and then she would fry it good stuff

    It's 2021 now and this was shot in 2018, but knowing Hmong families like to not throw away pots and pans as just an FYI you need to throw that pan away (if you haven't). The nonstick coating has already come off a lot and you're still cooking with it in high heat so you're probably mixing in the toxins from the coating into your food...
    Anyway, thanks for the recipe. I will test this one out too~~ ^^

    How long can it last not refrigerated if you leave the fat on? Fat is supposed to go rancid.

      I wouldn't leave it longer than 2 days. I like to keep it in the freezer after it's dried and then fry it up when I want some. :)

      Made this today. Instead of using the oven method, I smoked it in my smoker for 2 hours and it came out so yum! Thanks for sharing. Love your videos!

      I disagree, the ingredients and spice suggestions are great idea additions and I’m making some jerky to soak dry in the sun because it’s summer here. Keep an open mind and you will become a natural cook.
