No buddy, can your xbox360 rip in soundtracks and music CDs in its library so you can basically pick your own soundtrack for every game? Didn't think so I wish modern consoles could rip things onto the hard disk and obviously where loaded with huge hard disks so that you can even pick the option to load in games you play often so you don't even need to change the disk.

We still own all models. The 360 had the power up issue. I opened the console and the power adapter. The fans were full of fluff n dust. Cleaned it out. No issues since.
@@RiccardoSpeggiorin There are lots of instruction videos on youtube ("xbox softmod"). You basically need a USB Thumb Drive and a manipulated save state that you load onto it. To use a thumbdrive on your og xbox you also need some sort of adapter (Controller-Port to USB, either buy or DIY).

Being able to put it in sleep mode with a button press when I need to be a husband or parent and then later getting immediately back into whatever I was playing is a godsend and motivates me to actually play and finish games.

Sony had a hand in the handheld market, Nintendo had both the Wii and the DS, both Sony and Xbox had insanely different UI and console makes, Now both Sony and Microsoft are basically the same PC while Nintendo continues to do their own thing. The market feels like it’s become extremely main stream and I wouldn’t be shocked if either Sony or Microsoft just decide to team up and make one machine and bank on their software.

Everything you listed above is possible, except you can actually maintain a high framerate (which is simply not possible without heavily degrading performance on any console). You also have the freedom to use whatever peripherals, audio, or display setup you want, and you've got easier access to all sorts of supplementary third-party applications for many games (mods, addons, inventory managers, etc.) Lastly, the number of games available is far larger on PC than it is on any console (potentially every console combined, even, but I haven't seen the numbers and don't care to figure all of that up... so I won't blindly make that claim). Whatever type of game you're into, you're more likely to find several offerings on PC where one may not exist on console. Consoles have certainly improved a hell of a lot over the years, but it's only very recently that they've begun to come even remotely close to what PCs are capable of and have been for a very long time. I play games on both, consoles and PC, depending on the type of experience I'm wanting, but performance on a decent PC is, objectively speaking, unmatched. The only thing console has that's currently "better" is the upfront cost and a handful of exclusives, but most games released these days are released on PC simultaneously or after a bit of a delay. If you've got a budget of a few hundred bucks or if all you play is some random sports game, going the console route is the obvious choice. If that's not the case and performance is what you're after, PC is the only correct answer. TL;DR - PC still master race... but if you ask me in 10 years and the answer may be different. Lol

For anyone who doesn’t know, there are no soft mods for xbox 360. You have to physically mod the console via soldering before you can install anything. If you want to soft mod a console with as many games as you want with ease, just get a ps3.
You can “soft” mod a 360 if you run the game(s) via USB or a DLRWBD. Maybe we are using “soft” mod differently? I software modded 7 360’s for friends and family. Only had 1 issue, couldn’t get the console to recognize an RWBD but then tried the DLRWBD and that worked just fine.
@@benlenderman1777that’s not soft modding. Soft modding requires no work to be done in the console. You’re probably thinking of a flashed DVD drive to play backup games, or using the X Key mode which is still a hardware level mod.

Google Aurora xbox360 and I'm pretty sure you'll find a tutorial. The games are most likely either ripped or pirated on the external drive. Doesn't take detective work to figure that out.

incredible numbers but the big question is, how many of them have/do you play? I keep trying over and over to sort out a retro set up and get so frustrated with all the stuff I don't want vs what I do vs what I didn't know I wanted til I find it - so I start from scratch. Done that so many and too many times.

Not really. It’s because with the skin they moved everything to one chip, whereas the phats have different chips. You can do RGH 3 on phats but it’s iffy. Only difference is that you don’t have to install a mod chip and change the timings. You still have to solder to the nand points to read and write the nand
A lot of people say that but it doesn’t. Even if u had Xenia that emulator has terrible compatibility even if u had the best pc in the world with all the bios files it still wouldnt be good. Plus youll never be able to emulate that nostalgic feeling of turning on ur good old 360 lol
I modded my PS Vita and now I can emulate a lot of older handhelds, including PSP, and PS1. I have it since 2012 and still boot it up from time to time

Not really. It’s because with the skin they moved everything to one chip, whereas the phats have different chips. You can do RGH 3 on phats but it’s iffy. Only difference is that you don’t have to install a mod chip and change the timings. You still have to solder to the nand points to read and write the nand
