its best to wire the switch on the gear selector. dont gotta reach far and it really helps at night time.
Great vid. My truck is locked up in all 6 gears. And in 12 valve tune. There must be some sort of deal between the states (province) the auto makers and the salt companies. I know there’s other ways to melt ice. I feel bad for you guys. Keep up the good work.

Even though my truck is a gasser, when I click my overdrive off it'll down shift and basically engine break plus having 392 gears helps too

If the starter is a gear reduction style there's a copper plunger and copper contacts inside that can be replaced. It will pretty much make brand new again.

I have an H&S tuner on my g56 2012 Ram .I always had an issue after 2000 RPM I really don't have power up there but it did that before the tune what do you think

can u do any tuning to the 4th gens ?
You probably know this already but dont use your hands to check for hydraulic leaks, use a piece of cardboard or anything not your hands. Hydraulic Oil in the blood stream isnt fun.

@@MLGtroll365 Hydraulic oil injection injuries are very serious and should be dealt with immediately. It can lead to loss of skin, removal of veins, or amputation.

Is there no short bed 3rd gens where you live just wondering
right on bud. i was wondering how long itd take to make a tune for a stock third gen 24v? thinking about driving down to oregon from alaska and would love to get you to look over the truck and throw a tune and maybe a 5/6 position switch on it.

Yeah definitely need to be careful with it. Haven't had the time to mess with vp last few weeks. Maybe get back on it soon.

Yes I can do this tuning for your 03 cummins but we would use hp tuners. Efi live is only for 2006+ trucks

If you want under 900hp go witha s475 otherwise use a s480

Who writes your EFI Live tunes
Might be a stupid question, but why do you need the 33oh resister? Also, how do you put that into the ground switch configuration?
The 33ohm resistor fools the ecu from thinking you have a ground short. If you don't use resistor truck will throw a code and limp mode.
Optimal Welding does it matter what watt the resistor is?
Will that converter lock up switch work on 07 with a 48?
yup works on all 47 and 48re transmissions.

Year old but if you are still looking i run the Mpvi2 from Hp tuners and optimals 4 position switch with tunes and my 06 runs awesome.
I need to do the same to my 97 that baby Is slow to the bone, slow and seems like I'm lacking power... You should sale your tune 🤷🏼♂️ I'd get one.

Hey man help me fix this generic efi live tune on my 09 and I will help you with whatever parts you need for that old forklift.
Any idea why it has super bad co2 emissions? Cant run the thing for longer than 5mins in the shop before co2 meter hits like 500ppm..
Can someone explain the 12v tune?
Eliminates injector pulse. Common rails have multi event injection but the 12v tune is a single event meaning one big spray of fuel when the injector fires like how a 12v valve injector works.
Can you do it to a second gen?

Why would it not be a (good idea) to engine brake without the proper throttle valve setup with this trucks current configuration ?
Until 2005 the throttle valve was controlled directly from the pedal. So at 0% pedal your throttle valve is commanding very low pressure and far less holding power on the clutches. Possible to slip and wear out clutches from engine braking. 2005+ throttle valve is controlled by the ecm through a electric motor so can be configured to command pressure while at 0% throttle.
Dodge dicks....Your frame and trailer hitch is full of water and rotting from the inside out as we speak. Cummins are OK tho!
